Came back a second time. Had the whole wheat French toast with syrup. The meatloaf with a side of baked beans and potato salad and a biscuit.

This cute little restuarant is a 50's inspired diner with good deals and good food. We stopped in and got the all day breakfast and a burger. Truth be told, the burger was dry. Also, when ordering a Cajun burger you expect it to be a little spicy. But this was nothing- we couldn't taste the Cajun at all! It looked like they just dumped seasoning on the burger after it was made too, they didn't put it in the meat. But the sausage and gravy biscuits were great. Really enjoyed them. I also got a coffee, it tastes like every diner coffee, nothing special but very much typical. The service was great and they were all friendly. The place was pretty clean and they had lots of seating options.

The ambiance here is amazing old time diner style. The service is friendly and their staff is helpful and hospitable. We got both the bacon and sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. The food was solid not the best I've had and the portions were small. Overall the experience in here makes it worth a visit.

Great food!! Great service, Amanda Zachary was superb! Good old fashioned cheeseburger made just right. And don't forget the delicious hot fudge sundae. The inside was just like a diner very pleasant.

Average diner. Not bad but not stellar. Mixed feelings about the food within our party: Wins- Mashed potatoes, broccoli, banana pudding, and fried okra. Average- BLT, Open faced turkey sandwich, and catfish. Passes- cheesecake and hush puppies. The staff was super pleasant and attentive to food allergies within our party. The themed decor is well done and has a great throwback feel! The cleanliness and physical building could be slightly improved upon- chipping paint at booth and bathroom could be freshened up. It was well stocked with soap & towels. The experience was ok. If we return to the local area, we can say we tried it, but we won't include it in future itineraries.

Kind of kitschy 50's vibe, lots of vinyl and chrome with Jukebox playing but was very clean and decent sized place. Friendly staff and very quick service. Basic burger was very good, nice char but not over cooked, large serving of crinkle fries came out hot. Chop steak was little over for my taste, light on gravy and mushrooms, too heavy on onions but hot and tasted good. The steamed sweet roll was outstanding! Coffee shake was also very good and big serving size. Two meals with sides and shakes about $50, little high for us but we left feeling good.

I would not recommend the milkshake from the kids' menu; it wasn't made with ice cream, but rather with cream and chipped ice. Didn't taste terribly good or rich. Everything else was great. Service was good. We were in a large party, so several of our items came out wrong, but the server, James, was very courteous, laughed it off (in a good way), and had it all fixed within five minutes. Wasn't an absolutely over-the-top experience, but it was a good one, and I would recommend it. Worth stopping by.

I provided all my information to the host James and confirmed my time of arrival and when to be expected as we had a party of 9 and their website would not allow us to reserve or wait with any party above 8. Upon arrival 10 minutes early. We were fed some bogus misleading explanation on the difference between a reservation and wait list by the host aka Manager In Training James or Jimmy, while taking our information again. The incompetence and service of the James was horrible. Change jobs you are horrible as a host finding out hes the manager in training makes it worse. He had the kitchen manager Drew come out to speak with me and he was very understanding. James or Jimmy you are a bad manager in training. Kitchen manager Drew even recalled us making the reservation and James could not own up to the fact he didn't do his job as he said over the phone you'd take care of us. During our wait and visit after becoming verbally irrate with me and securing an actual manager. He avoided us. James or Jimmy the purple shirt, the manager in training, has by far the worst customer service. Kitchen manager Drew, great and friendly guy. Willing to listen and we're willing to wait as long as you dont lie to me like Jimmy or James will.

I had been here once before and the food was so good I had to come back. By the time I got to my hotel, I was running late for my reservation and got a call from The Appalachian checking if I was going to make my reservation. I let them know that I had just arrived at my hotel, traffic on I-81 held me up and I was going to order an Uber as soon as I was off the phone. Coming from DC, I expected an Uber would be at the hotel door steps within a few minutes, I was wrong. I was then crushed by the realization that I was wrong, I wasn't gonna make my reservation. I knew that on a week night The Appalachian's kitchen closed at 9. Ride.I called them back to let them know of the situation and expressed my desire to have their Wood Fired Lamb. The Gentleman that answered the phone simply responded "it's going on the grill now, we will see you when you get here. F-ing amazing, turned my stressful and painful day completely around. Uber'ed over, walked into an empty restaurant on a weekday where I would guess dinner customers might have been light and they held the staff for little old me. The Appalachian had just moved to the top of my list for I mean best restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Unfortunately, for them, my favorite restaurant of all time in the United States shut down when I was in my early 20's so they'll never get a chance to compete.. But they just bumped Alligator Soul in Savannah Georgia to number two still in existence in these great United States. The Appalachian is a must dine at least once in your life, top tear resistant. Out F-ing standing, must F-ing dine at some point in your life. To the staff of The Appalachian, thank you for taking care of me went you could have told me that you close at 9pm. First off, the restaurant is truly stunning! Service was excellent too. We started with the Fried Chicken Skins. My friend had heard good things for a friend, but we weren't particularly impressed. I had the Hanger Steak as my entree, and it was delicious. I especially loved the potato dumplings! My friend had the Kansas City Strip, cooked medium rare, with broccolini. Initially, the steak was overcooked, but the staff quickly cooked another steak and made it right. Overall a really good experience! Downtown Sevierville has really evolved, and we enjoyed walking around and exploring after dinner.

We had an AMAZING dining experience and encourage you to experience Seasons 101 for yourself…read more We made a reservation online for a party of 4 and dined there on Sunday, Memorial Day weekend. We were greeted and seated promptly in a lovely little alcove near their patio, the perfect spot for old friends catching up. Our server, Olivia, was phenomenal, offering insight and recommendations into their seasonal menu items. We started with cocktails and appetizers. We loved the Roasted Beet Salad and Crab Bisque. Deee-licious! We then moved on to our entrees: Filet mignon (prepared Medium) w/caramelized onions & garlic mashed potatoes. The filets were seasoned and cooked perfectly - melt in your mouth, oh soooo good! Prime rib steak sandwich with caramelized onions & melt cheese. Opted for a side of grilled zucchini instead of fries. Also a big hit with our friend. I chose the night's feature dish of halibut and couscous. Nicely prepared and delicious. Though we didn't have room for dessert, once Olivia brought the dessert tray by, we quickly made room! My husband chose the Blueberry Bread Pudding. Of course I had to taste! I'm typically am not a fan of bread puddings due to being heavy and somewhat gummy! This one was absolutely light, and yummy allowing the blueberries to shine. Our friends shared the NY cheesecake with fresh strawberries. Also, light, fluffy and delicious! I chose the key lime pie with toasted coconut sprinkled on top. Incredibly good with light tartness though I prefer more tart. Still, it ranks up there as one of the best I've found. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails, food, ambiance, decor, and our server, Olivia. Ample portions, reasonable/comparable pricing, and delicious/creative menu. Bravo, Seasons 101! Bravo!! P.S. They also have a lovely outdoor dining area, if you so desire.
