I've been to some cool places like Atlanta, Montreal, Halifax, Anaheim, Reno, Calgary, Quebec City, etc. Its a three day affair that ends with a Banquet and Ball. In 2015 I became a national officer, and one of our traditions is that officers wear a white dinner jacket at the Annual Banquet and Ball. So years ago I bought a white dinner jacket from K&G. But over the years, some things have changed. First of all, K&G has moved to this current location, and second of all, I'm now down about 50 pounds from where I was when I first donned that white jacket. So now you you know the backstory of why I returned to K&G to buy a somewhat better fitting white jacket today. I found a beauty! It was more of a white tux jacket with black lapels, and man oh man was it sharp looking. I really wanted it but it had a tiny smudge on the left lapel and although it was close to my size, it wasn't exactly my size. Now this is where K&G's fantastic customer service swung into action. Valerie heard my dilemma and said there were no jackets in the style and size I wanted, but she walked us up front, called their Orange store, confirmed they had EXACTLY what I wanted, and arranged for them to hold it for me. We were there an hour later and bought it. I did buy a white vest in Manchester, and one of the cool things about K&G is if you text a code to them you'll get some sort of a discount. So we did that at both locations and saved $5 on the vest and $10 on the coat. After the discounts, the vest cost $29.99 and that sharp looking coat Joe Jackson sang about cost $89.99 (pre-tax). I could not have been more pleased with today's K&G experience.

It actually arrived this past Saturday and it couldn't have come at a better time. I had spent three traumatic days last week in the hospital with what turned out to be a migraine headache. The more traumatic experience was that my wife had not been contacted about my hospitalization. I had asked my nurse and physician to update her on my status and been assured that they would. So on Saturday morning her present arrived. I was so thrilled I opened it. She was so upset about the hospital treatment I decided to give her the surprise early to cheer her up. Much to my surprise the presentation of the Brighton jewelry box was phenomenal. The inside lid was a marvelous decoration of red roses in the shape of a heart. Then the next level of cardboard had a cutout in the shape of another heart. When that was lifted there was a personalized note addressed to my wife. She then unwrapped the bracelet and necklace which were breathtaking. That night we got all dressed up and I took her out for our first meal inside a restaurant and we splurged. I was so delighted with the Brighton packaging and the beauty of their products and how they had cheered up my traumatized wife I had to share this review
