I got a quote for a fence and signed the contract, sending them half the amount for deposit. A few weeks later they tell me the fence I want is actually 2X the price I was quoted. I showed them the price in the contract I signed, and they told me that price was just an "estimate". Excuse me? I told them I want a refund. That was one month ago and I still have not received my refund. My emails and texts to my project manager have gone unanswered. The sales email on their website bounces back as undelivered. The phone number on their local office hangs up automatically. I will need to pursue legal avenues soon if I cannot get in touch with anyone. What an awful company. read more

Due to Everfene's unwillingness to correct the installation and materiel defects for almost 2 years, which forced me to pursue legal action against them. I do not believe, nor do I feel comfortable with them being on my property in order to repairs. In addition, it is apparent that they lack the proper skills to repair the defects based on the poor workmanship of the current fence/gate system. the CSLB rewarded me the sufficient funds in order for me to contract to a fence/gate contractor of my choice so that I can be assured that the repairs are completed correctly. DO NOT have them install your fences and gates. You do not want to have to go through what I have been dealt with them. read more

I contacted them for a quote, Mike came to my home and give me a price if I sign the same day, I said ok. I didn't hear back from them, I called many times and he said ok it is coming, but after 2 weeks of waiting he texted me saying that the company can't drill the concrete to put the post, and they can't drill on a tile without breaking it! I do not recommend this company. The initial work on my fence and gates was sloppy--posts were poorly mounted, and the double gate kept opening in the wind. It leaned and wobbled within a month. I was told I was responsible for cementing the ground, but Mark knew I had gravel and didn't mention I'd need to pay an extra $4,000 to cement the area. It took three months to fix; the second team did an excellent job, stabilizing the posts and adding a bar to prevent wind opening. They also replaced the side fence to block access over the retaining wall. While the issue is finally resolved, they made me feel like I was doing them a favor. I'm relieved it's over after three months. read more

This company has the worst communication. For the price, I would expect way better service, it it seems like there is no point to having a warranty. We had our gate installed a year ago and a month in it started having problems with alignment. It took so much back and forth to get them to come back out, they fixed it within a few minutes, or so we thought. 3 months later...its misaligned again and took even longer for them to even email us back. It doesn't seem like they are going to send anyone out at this point, they just keep saying "we're doing our best. We have only been able to talk to Hannah the project manager, and she is terrible at giving updates. Now, we are forced to have another company fix it out of pocket. Please do better Everfence, especially if you're charging such high rates. -_- read more

Timely service & quality work. I saw their advertisement online and decided to give them a try. I Filled out my info online (fence length) and I received a call within a few days. Had a sales rep (Hannah) come by later in the week to take measurements & give me a quote. The quote matched the quote I was give online so I proceeded to have them install a fence. Workers were out in about 1 week later. They came out, tore out my old fence & installed the new fence just the way I wanted & hauled away the old fence. The quality of the workmanship looks great. Although, I have a small patio, John got me my numbers and ran a couple of options and even provided me samples to ensure the color matches to my HOA requirements. Initial scheduling was easy for a free quote. Then they weren't able to have a person do a physical consultation over the weekend, so they suggested a virtual appt where they could use satellites and based on our needs for materials, provide us with a quote. We had a great experience with EverFence! Our project was complex and required removal of a jungle of trees and bushes along our fence line. We also needed to work with multiple neighbors who were covering different finances. Mark quickly came on site and gave us estimates, Hannah was able to schedule our project for the following week, and the tree removal and installation teams worked together to determine the fastest timeline that would allow us to clean up my elderly neighbors back yard. The workmanship was very poor. The fence posts and boards are far from plumb and make the fence look old and like it's already falling over. I did see this before I signed off but the job was finished and the whole fence including posts would have had to be taken down and put up again correctly. I let it go and signed off. I later realized the latch was extremely long, much longer than it needed to be. It protrudes at head and eye level creating a serious safety hazard. The latch extends into a walkway, where someone walking past the gate could walk into it. When I called I was told I had signed off and it would now cost $200 to replace the latch with a shorter one. I do not recommend on all counts. Poor quality of materials, poor customer service, poor value, and poor installation. read more

I was disappointed with the quality of service and follow-up. The Sales Rep came to my property on 4 different occasions. He was friendly and completed the work order. I was asked for half of the cost and told that the front office would be in touch to set a date. I understand that there may be other projects pending; however I had to wait over a month for the install to happen. When the workers showed up they had the wrong material (redwood 6 inch boards vs. 8 inch boards). They also were not clear on the 2x4's that needed to be replaced. They could not start the job. This was an inconvenience due to taking time off for the project, not to mention collecting half the cost from my neighbors and letting them know so they could plan ahead as well. When I spoke to the office manager Madison she reached out to her manager and called me back letting me know that the job would be completed by a senior installer the next day. The sales rep John, called me to apologize stating that he owned it and made a mistake with the paperwork. I met the installer and his team the next day and they completed the project as promised by Madison. The professionalism was a disappointment as well. The workers left and told me that the old fence that they took down would be picked-up by Rene (senior installer) in the evening. One of the workers asked if he could leave the buckets, a trash bag, a concrete bag in addition to additional supplies (extra wood boards) in the front yard. I was fine with it, since everything would be picked up in the evening. Much to my surprise the old fence was still in front of my house on the street the next day, in addition to the extra supplies. I called Madison again who was not aware and told me that she would call the installer to pick the fence and supplies up in the afternoon. Again no one called or showed up. I called Madison the next day and sent her pictures and let her know that this is a hazard as people are walking on the sidewalk and could trip or fall on the fence which had nails, screws and sharp pieces of wood. She called the installer again and told me they would pick everything up by 2:00 p.m. I called her at 3:00 p.m. asking for an update, since no one showed up again. She called me back to let me know that they would be by at 4:15. They finally showed at 4:15 to pick everything up. I was told that they were in Los Angeles and were told they could not leave. They did not sweep or clean up the dirt, pieces of wood, nails and screws that were on the street. When I asked Madison why they did not clean up after they completed the project the first day , she stated " I don't know, that's a good question". At no point did anyone take ownership for anything, only excuses- such as I'm just the messenger or I don't know. The only person to take ownership was John the sales rep calling me the first day of the install as indicated earlier in my comments. I would not recommend Ever Fence. In reading some of the reviews I agree with the person that stated it should be called Never Fence. read more
