Went to try this place for the first time today! I ordered the Evergreen Platter - one with lamb and beef, and another with falafels. Both are seriously delicious, they were well-seasoned and tasted fresh. It was not greasy at all. The portions were excellent for the price and the platter is well-balanced in terms of the rice to protein ratio, veggies and hummus. The place is really clean, and well-maintained. The workers were friendly and my food came out quick! Solid food, lovely service and definitely a regular place for my cravings! Highly recommend if you find yourself in Olympia. read more

It's been several years since my first visit to this place. I know I said in my first review I would be back a lot. I'm kicking myself I have many been back in 6 years. I am hoping to make it more of a regular stop from here on out. The interior has changed, it's a smallish cafe setting, but it's comfortable and clean. The guy behind the counter was knowledgeable of the menu, friendly, helpful and great at customer service. Our food came fairly quick. It was hot and fresh. And tasted good. Food was good. And well seasoned. I did have a minor complaint with the temperature of the gyros. They are made to order but I believe they don't have them on a grill top or spic to get the meat extra hot. Once the cool vegetables are put on the cold Taziki sauce, the overall temperature comes down. so I do recommend a change with that. The spot is small and cute, I do believe they're fairly new too. The upgrades inside the space are very nice. Gyro was very good, Greek fries were very light on the feta but they were good fries. The payroll model, where the cashier, cook and server are all one person certainly does not work. It makes for very slow service with a stressful vibe. read more

Not worth. I got the beef gyro & smiley sunrise smoothie (supposedly coconut/peach/mango) but this food took over 30 min to make. The smoothie is straight up thick like Naked Juice consistency and it tastes like chocolatey banana and I'm really hoping they didn't make me the peanut butter banana smoothie bc I can't have peanuts. I also asked for "no cheese" on the gyro and they still added the Feta cheese to it. Overall, not a fan and upset that my order got completely wrong. I love that we have another option in town for gyros. These are by far the best tasting gyros in the Olympia area. They lose a couple stars because they serve the gyros in styrofoam containers even if you are eating in. I hate contributing to massive styrofoam trash especially when I'm eating inside the restaurant. This is 2021, come on guys, we can do better for our earth. The restaurant is kinda cold feeling - the ambiance is not great. Sodas are from bottles so you don't get refills. Service is meh - not real friendly. This is not full service - You go to the counter, order, and then they bring it to your table in styrofoam take out boxes . Prices are on the high end for gyros. The pitas was store bought and not made in house, and the lamb was not from a vertical rotisserie, cut thick almost cubed and the gyro lacked the veggies a gyro typically has (red onion) The lamb was tender though, but not very flavoful. The fries were not that great. Normal frozen crinkle cut fries with tzatziki and feta, pretty soggy. The food lacked love and authenticity that one one get going to Greece. Would I eat here again? I just ordered in person from this establishment, chicken shawarma, a small order of falafel, and a mango lassi. While waiting on my order I noticed how really dirty everything looked. Counters. Table. The kitchen. The credit card machine. Food was brought out in styrofoam. I arrived home no more than 5 min from getting my food and this is the most disappointing waste of my dollar in a while. The chicken is cold and tastes a bit off- like it's been cooked for a while. The rice is cold and gummy. The falafel tastes raw and not quite like any other falafel I've ever had. Why is it crunchy inside? And the hummus tastes like anything I could have bought at Grocery Outlet. The only thing edible is the pita, which no doubt comes out of a package. I'm not eating this food for fear of food poisoning. I would not recommend to anyone, and will never go back. read more

Went for the third time since my first review. Note that it went from 5 stars to 1 star. I took a friend with me and our experience wasn't good at all. It started out just fine. I had a chicken kebab and my friend had a beef kebab. My chicken was OK, a lot of gristle so saying OK isn't much. I have a mild allergy to bell peppers and there were a lot in the veggies. The rice was horrible. It was a solid glop of rice. No individual grains of rice. Over cooked and held too long then mashed onto the styrofoam takeout container. My friend ordered a beef kebab and it was terrible, she didn't eat any of it. It was ground beef overcooked, flattened and then sort of rolled so it would like like a sort of kebab. I ate about half my rice, she didn't eat any. We both thought the hummus was good, though I thought it needed both garlic and lemon. The warm pita was the star attraction, which isn't saying much. I might give the food 2 stars. My friend threw out everything but the hummus and pita and I threw out most of the rice and veggies. As we were leaving I made sure to let the guy in charge know that the food wasn't good! He didn't apologize or offer to comp all or part of the meal. Someone else who came in after us, picked at his order and then threw it out also. I didn't know what he ordered. Needless to say, I won't go back. Each time I've gone in the quality of the food and service has deteriorated. I was hoping to find a decent Middle Eastern place to eat I'm still looking. read more

Pretty bummed I was craving a shawarma but my original options were closed. I've heard of this place a couple of times from some friends and figured it was the next best choice plus I love gyros. I only leave reviews when it is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. This place. Holy crap. I ordered chicken shawarma platters foe my family. They weren't edible and I'm afraid we will have food poisoning from the little nlvit we were able to eat. The rice was mushy and obviously probably a week old. The chicken was dry and clearly not cooked on a spit, hence it being shawarma. The hummus was runny and you could tell it was only chicken peas and Tahiti. No garlic. No lemon. No cumin. It honestly tasted like peanuts. Weird. The bread was from a package. The hilarious vegetables were clearly just frozen vegetables that they soaked in vinegar. Unbelievable. I have never in my entire life had worse food feom a restaraunt. Like honestly, how dare you sell that. Very tasty local gyro place in Olympia. I had the lamb and beef gyro with the Greek fries. Overall, it was very tasty and perfect for a single meal. It ended up costing about fifteen dollars which I would conclude is on the expensive side for a niche product but very worth the price. What a great place! I ordered a lamb gyro with garlic fries and can't wait to come back and have it again! The piping hot fries were soooo crunchy on the outside and perfectly spiced. I was truly disappointed in this place. Starting with the lamb gyro: the meat was not sliced thin like a gyro should be, it was not seasoned well either.
