This was my first carpet cleaning experience with any local company. After two years in our new house (with little kids), our carpet desperately needed a cleaning. I called and asked about their special for two rooms and a hallway for $125. The gentleman on the phone told me that rooms larger than 200 square feet would cost more (I forgot the actual price) and any special treatments would cost additional as well. He helped me schedule a time for the following week. About 15 minutes before the scheduled time, I received a phone call letting me know that they would be arriving soon. I wasn't there but my partner was there and said everything went well. We opted for the basic cleaning and didn't expect all the stains to be removed (for example, some chalk paint in the hallway). The carpet looks much better! The invoice noted the stains that couldn't be removed and the traffic wear pattern in the hallway. We had reasonable expectations for what carpet cleaning could do and are satisfied with the entire experience. Would definitely hire again for future carpet cleaning needs. read more

Ok, I had this terrible ripple in my living room carpet. An accident waiting to happen. So I called Evergreen to get an estimate, they arrived on time an left an estimate. After getting several recommendations for them from friends and neighbors, I decided to forego additional estimates and called them to schedule. Anthony and Jose were on time and quickly got down to business. Had no idea of the process for stretching, but was impressed. They pulled up the edges around the entire room and stretched in 3 directions. I thought they would just push out the ripple at the nearest seam .. glad they did not. Looks terrific. Then they got down to the cleaning. Since all the furniture was moved for the stretching, it took a short time to get the shampooing done. It's not dry yet, but I can see how clean and flat my carpet is. Then they replaced all the large pieces of furniture. I moved the small pieces earlier, because I want to wait until the floor is completely dry. I will replace the smaller pieces tomorrow. I've also recently had my ceiling painted, so I have some serious dusting and cleaning to do while I replace the smaller pieces. This was my choice, they would have put everything back where it belonged. Will definitely use them again. read more

I called evergreen to get the carpets cleaned in our new condo. They were able to come out within two days, which was faster than I'd hoped! They quoted me for the more expensive portable option, as I wasn't sure if the front door was close enough to the parking lot for the van. They had great communication with me, were even able to come early on the day of, and ended up being able to use the van so the price was half what I expected. Overall I'm very happy! Please note, this review is not timely due to the fact we had a rug cleaned that was then stored for several months. We had Evergreen "clean" several long runners and a large, shag area rug. When the runners came back, they were flat and didn't appear very clean, but we weren't completely convinced that they had not been cleaned. However, when we unrolled our large area rug, it had obviously not been cleaned. There was still debris and even a screw from our old vacuum cleaner that had been lost in the rug. I am so disappointed! They picked up our rugs and had them for several weeks. We spent hundreds of dollars on them and they still need to be cleaned. It was a complete waste of money and time. Honestly, I think I left my last review in a stressed out state of mind and gave my honest opinion at the time.. But I apologize and forgot to update my review as Evergreen Carpet did end up coming back and helping us with a better experience and apologized for the quality done at the first meeting with a different worker. I wish I remembered which guy it was that came out and helped us as I do sincerely thank them for the hard work he did on my mother's old home. I was in a bind. Company was coming from out of town. The Evergreen team scheduled a technician, Chris, to come see our carpets and give us an estimate. Chris was prompt, knowledgeable, professional and worked with us on our budget. We scheduled Chris to do the cleaning. It was a big job and he did an excellent job. He was careful with our furniture and belongings and helped me move things so he could get in hard to reach areas. I couldn't have asked for better results. What's more is Chris takes pride in his work. He told me he loves his job and Evergreen is very good to him. He hopes to be working for Evergreen for a long time. That says a lot. Jordan Came out to give us an estimate to do our carpet. He was here on time and after he gave us the quote, he was actually able to do the work today which was really convenient. He did an excellent job. He made sure that we came around and looked at everything to make sure that we were totally satisfied, if I found something that I wanted him to look at, (one place) he happily spotted it again and cleaned it up. It was a very stubborn stain that I haven't had any luck getting clean. Jordan did an excellent job. He was very professional very efficient and the next time we need carpet work done. I can't even believe what we experienced this morning after Evergreen cleaned our carpets today. We have 3 NEST carbon monoxide monitors and 2 of the 3 were going off about an hour after they left. I checked on my husband (and our cat) who works from home and said he started feeling light headed and felt dizzy before the monitors were going off. I have a screen shot of our monitors and the levels it reported which I will post below. One room 70 PPM (bedroom) and one was 150PPM (office), the third room had not gone off yet but he could see the lights flashing on it like it was starting to detect (this was a bedroom). You want to know what the recommended level is...I looked it up and spoiler alert, it's 35 PPM!!! My husband was sitting in 150 PPM for about 1 hour. When I called Evergreen in a panic, asking what they put in their carpet solution, I was told that it has nothing to do with the solution but the machine in the truck. The exhaust apparently gets sucked in from the direction of the wind blowing into the home. First of all it is 10/13/23 at 8:00 am and not a bush or leaf in sight moving - NO WIND. They parked in our driveway and even if they had parked street side, it would have been almost the exact same spot. HERE COMES THE CRAZY PART - The guy tells me, you are the third call this year reporting this!!! I am sorry, excuse me?? I suppose thank you for your honesty. Now you are telling me this is a trend and when I suggested that they add to their check list upon arrival to have the home owner open doors and windows, he basically told me nah, you don't really need to do that. Cool, so because it was not your idea, it's not a good one?! Give people a heads up that your trucks and machines produce exhaust and this can happen and it is best to have proper ventilation with fans going and windows open so that does not happen. I guess you are fine taking my few hundred bucks even after I called. They better hope that my husband getting fresh air is enough to not cause longer term effects. Lastly, not that I asked or expected it because really I was looking for an emphatic response, but they made no concessions to me at all. No refund or even a redemption cleaning next time. Granted, that does not solve the bigger issue at hand but customer service 101 is do everything you can to make something right. With this experience, if not for our monitors, my husband may have been a statistic. Don't use Evergreen (and buy carbon monoxide monitors if you don't already have them.) I hope they take this review extremely seriously. This will also be reported to BBB and if there are any residual health concerns, you can bet they will be hearing from more than just me again. read more

Nice young man that cleaned my rugs right before the 4th of July. He cleaned 2 rooms and 1 hallway in 25 minutes. When I went to check the living room, I noticed he didn't clean under the coffee table or sofas. He started packing up the truck before I realized he was done. I went out to the truck and asked if he could clean under the coffee table and he was happy to do so. I knew they didn't move furniture but I would have appreciated him asking if I wanted to move the sofa and coffee table. I will use Evergreen again but will definitely move all furniture in middle of the room before they arrive. Only other comment is that the tech did not wear a mask and was not vaccinated. I should have insisted that he wear a mask while working. Once again, I will use their service in the future will be more aware of what they are doing. read more

Recently lost my mom and brought back a carpet that looked like on the back side cats had urinated on it, but you couldn't see it on front side. There were 3 spots about 10 inches in circular shape. When i took it home it kept cranking when moved. I brought it in and the size is about 5X8. I was told it is a nice rug and price would be 233.00 dollars to bring back to life and clean. I contacted them through Yelp and gave a brief description of what I was trying to get done. Within 24 hours I recieved a response and a quote that I was more than happy with. Our technician did an excellent job. He was honest from the beginning and let me know that parts of the carpet might have some leftover residue. Thankfully he did an excellent job and no residue was left, at least nothing that I could see. Definitely recommend Evergreen and will be contacting them again for my services. For the record, I've been using this company for many years and have never had a problem. But this last time came with some issues. First, getting a quote and scheduled is a breeze, kudos to them on that. However, the cleaning was sub-par as I had paid for a couch to be cleaned and they only cleaned a portion of it. They also only partially cleaned the area rug I requested. To their credit, they came back immediately and cleaned these two things more thoroughly. However, during the first round they chopped my brand-new baseboards with their hose and when they followed up basically said "someone from the office will call you about that, I don't do stuff like that". Nobody called. I did feel that the $439 I paid for 4 rooms, stairs, rug, and couch was moderate. Overall quality of cleaning was moderate as well. I'll probably use them again just due to the ease of scheduling and service, they are great with that. read more

I moved here from Arizona where we had another green carpet cleaner that we liked. I knew as soon as we needed carpet care that green was the way we were going to go. I recently moved into a new-to-us home and also recently adopted a cat that turned out to be sicker than what was told me thru adoption. The cat urinated in our guest bedroom just a couple weeks before my in laws were coming into town. I was not only furious but freaking out if we could get our carpet cleaned around Christmas under short notice. I called Evergreen and was quickly assisted and assured me they would be able to get someone out under short notice. Technician Erick arrived and quickly was on his way cleaning the small area of carpet in the guest bedroom and entrance to the hall. He let me know that it may take a couple days for the smell to go away in its entirety because the enzymes had to work. He NEVER upcharged me or tried to sell me on 500 other things I didn't need. The room already smelled way better than I ever could clean it and he was on his way. About a day before the in laws came I noticed the smell returned. I wasn't frustrated with the carpet care I was more worried that we were being up old urine from the previous owners in the pad that we didn't know about. After the in laws left I reached out to Evergreen after they had left me a voicemail to make sure everything was okay (THANK YOU for that!) and they assured me they would come back and make sure that smell doesn't come back by laying some more enzymes down at no charge. Erick returned and checked out the area which he described to me what I suspected that the smell may be in the pad that they are pulling up. He recleaned the area. Our plan of attack will be that if the smell comes back we definitely know it's in the pad and will have them fix the pad. If you are wanting a thorough carpet clean with a knowledgeable tech who isn't rushing and takes pride in their work, Evergreen is who you need to hire. Their prices are reasonable and I feel like we are being taken care of. I also was telling my husband that I feel they are trying really hard to not be a fly by shop. They want to remain being your go to carpet guys and be the one you recommend. They are really doing a great job of retaining clients so you don't even want to look else where when you need them again. I did t even know until today that they also clean vents too! Making the appointment was the good part. A friendly, efficient person answered the phone promptly and made a convenient appointment a few days away. The service, in my opinion, was mediocre. Some of the stains were missed, and the striped tracks are ugly. I had told the guy on the phone we had tea, coffee, and pet stains that would need to be pretreated. He told me to talk to the tech about it when he came. I did, and it was the tech who told me each one would be $20. He also told me the strip of carpet next to our vanity in the master suite was a separate bathroom with an additional charge. He said he was giving us a break on the stains, and he probably did, but the final charge still ended up TWICE what we paid Sterling last September. ($200 vs. $100.) We called Evergreen this time because we were disappointed with Sterling. Guess we'll have to keep looking. read more

They cleaned my carpet on an 80 degree day in Oct. Two weeks later I called them because the carpet was dirtier than before they came. They agreed to reclean it BUT it had to be done within 30 days of the original date. Apparently the technician hadn't extracted enough cleaning solution and the dirt with it. By 30 days the temp had dropped to 40s and I don't want it cleaned on a cold wintery day! 30 days...no exceptions, no refund, no credit! "Satisfaction Guaranteed" is a pretty slogan.
