Buy elsewhere. Not well run place. My first "free" oil change for my new Telluride didn't happen. Ended up just paying for it at another place. Heard "next available appointment is in 3 months" and "you were supposed to have your first oil change scheduled when you purchased" and "manager will call you back" etc. In don't really trust them with the truck anyway. I''d rather pay for oil changes elsewhere. And I'll get any service at another dealer if needed. I have purchased two cars from Evergreen Kia. All my service was done there. I was very satisfied with the with cars and service. My Kia was recently stolen. I started looking into new cars and was very concerned about taking on a new debt. I was contacted by the Chicago Police Department that my car was found. This news gave me mixed emotions I was happy they found it but worried on what condition it would be in after being gone for over two weeks. I went to my car to check it. It was not drivable with a broken steering column and other damage I am unable to assess. I called emergency road service to have it towed to Evergreen Kia. It was on a Sunday evening I was concerned that the thieves may back for it considering they had left their unopened liquor in it. Monday morning I called Kia and my car wasn't there. The tow company had taken to their lot and would now be charging me storage fees. I was livid I was told had if they taken it there it would have been impounded. I thought this was a scam by the tow company to get storage fees. My next call was to Evergreen Kia they confirmed that they will not accept any work on recovered stolen cars. It was explained to me that this problem is so widespread that even if they hired 50 more mechanics they still would not be able to get parts or provide any other services on vehicles. The choice is up to you. They are not telling you when you're buying the car that they are refusing to service your car if this problem occurs. I would suggest look at another brand of vehicle. If your dead set on throwing your money away give it to me. I need a new car I promise I will not waste it on another Kia. read more

My parents ordered a new part for their sunroof of a new sorento. I was the one to take it to be fixed. I did that but the problem is that i arrived before 8am and it is now 1:04pm. I did my due diligence and waiting as not to be a annoying customer i only inquired about my vehicle every hour or so. Sounds fine right? I thought so. But as these many hours passed, over FIVE HOURS to be exact, i find out that they put my vehicle aside because they did not know what was to be done on it...my bloody question is: Why the **** didn't they ******* ask me!!!!! Place is a joke. Scheduled a test drive for a car and when I arrived the next day, was told the car needed a new engine and couldn't be driven. To make matters worse, I received emails for the next 3 days from the sales manager telling me I missed my appointment to test drive it and if I'd like to reschedule. After the 3rd one, I told him his place needs to get a clue. On top of that, they tried to sell me on a used car that when went to test drive it, was a big crack across the whole windshield and the check engine light was on. I recently bout this car last year in September and already had to get a new engine put in. Good thing there was a reclaim on my vehicle which covered my engine and after installing my engine I still had to come out of pocket 800$ for a starter and ball joint on a vehicle i had not even 5 months. Not even a month later my engine (supposedly a new one) is back rattling and they're saying it can be cause of the timing chain on a engine that is supposed to be brand new this place is the worst ever and when you try to talk to the people in the front they say that the service department has nothing to do with them. On Wednesday morning during my commute my tire was punctured with a nail which caused it to flatten. I had the spare tire put on and immediately contacted the service department via phone. No one answered and I left a message. No one returned my call. I called the following day. There was no answer and the voicemail was full. I called back and selected the prompt for the operator. She said she would write down my information and pass it along to the service department. No one called me back. This process continued the following day. I then decided to just come to the facility and see if I could get my car serviced. After being there for over 30 min I was able to find someone, who I had to approach first, to speak to about my tire. I was told that I need to have an appointment to get serviced today. I told him that I'm riding on the spare tire and asked if he thought it would be safe to ride on the spare until I am able to get in. He said no and to call back around 10:30 to see if he could have someone look at it. I called from 10:30 to 11:00, no surprise, I didn't get an answer and the mailbox is full. I am dissatisfied, disappointed, and now angry that I cannot get someone to help me resolve this issue. When I was looking to purchase the Telluride, I received calls daily, sometimes twice a day. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. From the time I walked in the "repair guy" was rude. My car started making some strange noises. I was driving down Western and decided to stop. As I pulled in the guy, never spoke, he just put the number tag in my car. I said, "Hello, my car is making some strange noises and I just want to check it out to make sure it's nothing major." He dryly asked me if I had an appointment; after the tag is already in my car. I replied that I didn't have one. I also said that I just wanted to check. He informed me that he had been working their since August and it's been this way since then...OK. Anyway, I asked him when was the next available appointment to check the noise. He said JANUARY 3. Oh the shock! I asked him again just to make sure I heard him correctly. My son, in shock as well, blurred out and said that's weeks away....that's next year! Here comes the unwarranted credentials: Repair Guy: We are very busy. We service 70 cars a day...blah, blah, blah! Really Sir. Thank you for your time, but no thank you. Your unconcerned attitude and demeanor has lost Evergreen KIA a customer. Evergreen Kia should be shut down expeditiously. I purchased my car new in 2018. This particular Kia location added a lifetime oil change and tire rotation. I noticed that anytime I received a tire rotation, days later I had a blow out. During the pandemic, Kia wiped their online appointments out. I called multiple times to schedule my routine oil change appointment. The service department never responded. I reached out to Kia corporate. Of course they responded to them and said a few people were out from catching covid. As we all know covid is a 10-14 day bug. So how is staff sick for months? Staff were quitting on them and their not replacing them quick enough. So needless to say corporate was able to get me an appointment. So I bring my car in for my oil change. 2 months later, my car starts to shake and turn off and my engine light comes on. My car will be 3 years this month. This should not be happening. So I call evergreen Kia to see if they can look at my car. Of course they can't because their "full" so I was advise to go to another Kia. Orland Hills Kia discovered that evergreen did a crappy oil change job. So I try to call evergreen to see how they can fix this problem. Of course once again no one reaches out. The next day after calling corporate once again, I finally get the manager. The service department manager name is Richard Link. Richard link was not only rude, but kept saying slick comments like I'm complaining about a $40 oil change and they don't have to honor anything because their privately owned. So Richard let me ask you this, what type of incompetent people have you hired that can't do a simple "$40" oil change. Evergreen Kia think their slick, it's obvious they intentionally mess your car up so that your left to pay more than what your suppose to come there for. Basically you guys make it where a "free" oil change is really a high costing engine problem. If anyone goes off of reviews to base their purchases, I recommend you read all of evergreen Kia reviews. Their low ranking due to issues with fraudulent sales, shady service, and crappy customer service. These people are not right and for their answering machine to say number one ranking is a lie right in the door. When I arrived to my appointment via $40 uber ride I was told that car I wanted test drive was sold long ago and he doesn't know why someone would tell me that. Guess what guys? You lied. You said you have the car I inquired about. That was a deal breaker for me. Why look at anything else when my trust was broken? But I'm happy to say that the same make and model car for $600 less and 10,000 less miles I bought at a another dealership close by right after. Went to Evergreen Kia 12/8/18 looking to purchase a new car. The salesman named Jack Girote helped Christian and I. He was going to give us $10,000 off if we purchased a new 2019 car. We were looking at an Optima and I explained how I wanted all the interior and exterior to be black and he nudged Christian and said something along the lines of "I can see that's why she wants everything black". Completely uncalled for and we ended up leaving and going to the next dealership on our list. Today we decided we were going to bite the bullet and go back to purchase the vehicle because it was the best deal and we were getting everything I wanted (backup camera, push to start, leather seats, ect). We waited 1.5 hours until Jack was done with his previous customer. The model they had was grey which I was clearly set on black. He wanted to sit down and talk numbers and assured us he had black in stock which we later found out no other vehicle besides the grey show room car was on the property and there's nothing he can do since there's only 1 that can get drove in but it won't happen today. He also claimed he never said he would give us the $10,000 off the new car which is also advertised outside of the store. Mind you he wouldn't even tell us where the black vehicle was so we couldn't just go there and deal with a more professional salesman. I declined and wanted to speak to a MGR. We waited another 1.5hr to speak with him and he didn't even take me serious until I pulled the $8,000 down payment out of my wallet. Then he wanted to try to help us get this car and said he would be back to find out how soon he can get the car in black today and will give us a discount for the entire ordeal that happened and that Jack is a "blabbermouth" and apologized. Well the MGR never came back after 50mins and we ended up leaving! So of course the first thing I did was stop at the nearest auto zone to try and buy bulbs. Unfortunately it was an issue with the fuse, so I had to take it to the dealership. I waited until Monday morning to contact kia service department to try and get in. I'm thinking ok since this is kinda and urgent issue they will try and fit me in. I can't drive around with no break lights. I spoke with a gentleman from service explained my issue and was immediately told I can get my car looked at until next week!!!!! Really???? I'm mean really???? How shitty is that right? With this being my only source of transportation I'll just drive around with no break lights and risk getting pulled over again. "Sorry officer I know my break lights are out but my dealership said I can't get them fixed until next week." I had my boyfriend take the car to the kia dealership in Orland park..... Guess what!!!!!! They took my car with NO PROBLEM. Same day. Found the issue and even gave me a replacement car until mine is ready..... I went to customer service and the guy gave a look like he didn't want to be there. He gave me RBF resting * face. My headlight had been out for a while. I bought the replacement bulb, but for some reason, Kia's are finicky little things and no one was able to put the replacement bulb in. So, I asked the Kia folks to do it since I already had the bulb, and I'm sure they would be able to. He said sure. Then, they proceed to tell me it will cost me $25! OH YEAH, to replace a bulb that I had already purchased. I politely told them nevermind and had it done at a local midas! If it wasn't for the free oil changes, I would never go back. I took my car in for an oil league and a recall when the engine. When I dropped my car off September 25th I was told they would need it for one day. Kia damaged my computer in my car where my car would not start it took them 2 months to repair my vehicle. During that time I was told they did know what happened to my car and that I had to pay for a rental. 5 weeks into that I spoke to the Parts manager Frank who informed me that Kia damaged my vehicle and that they would cover costs of my rental. My rental Carr was paid 4 minus the taxes of $115. I have been calling Evergreen Kia trying to get someone to settle this and I haven't been able to resolve this period I have contacted TA corporate inveigh have not been helpful either. I am now contacting my attorney which I cancelled because Kia had agreed to pay. Do not and I mean do not purchase a vehicle from this Car dealer. There are hwin month waits for a basic oil change and service, the staff Are very disrespectful, especially in service, Brian specifically. This is ridiculous that I have to obtain an attorney to get $115 back. I will never ever ever buy another car and I had purchased 3 cars from them. I am calling my lawyer now! The car has been their for the either month of Nov and this will be my 3rd time taking the car back to them for repairs. I later find out there is a recall on my car. Then I was told that they did pay the bill by they was waiting to hear back from enterprise. So I have been with a car for 2months now. I was told that I would be able to speak to the owner in regards to this situation with the lemon that they sold me by one of the managers. Then when I arrived to speak to owner I was told that the owner doesn't speak to regular customers. I have called the service department multiple times about obtaining the print out of everything done to the car. I was first told that they needed to go to other warehouse to get that information. When I called again and asked for the information I was told that I can come up there and pick it up but when I got there I was told that their computer system was down. Really ! After complaining about this to a manger one of the service men slip up and say I don't have a loner car because they have too many out. They have been lying to me during this whole process. I would never recommend anyone to this company. I am currently paying a car note for a car that is not drivable and it was brought in June. This is not even have of my experience. So I'm here because the battery that I bought from them in October for my 2011 55k miles Kia Optima has failed my car twice in one week. I needed a jump (roadside assistance). So of course I try to call first(twice) no answer. Then after pulling up and explaining my frustration the receptionist calls John over. I advise him of the situation. He says well you can leave it hear we have 95appointments and 5 mechanics. I said well can I have a loaner car or ride to work? No you can have someone pick you up. I said well do you at least have a little machine that can test the battery really quickly? Yeah when a mechanic frees up. Really John? It's 3degrees and you don't have any compassion for me being stranded not once but twice! I'm sure you wouldn't want to be treated like this! Meanwhile he told me I can come back tomorrow around 2pm for it to be seen. Not acceptable. So basically I'm waiting in the waiting area to get word on their faulty battery that they sold me.
