No request was too big. And everything they did was done with empathy and love. AARON make sure that we were taking care of the entire time and walk us through step-by-step during this very very difficult time. He allowed us to basically run the service away that we wanted it based on the guidelines and what we paid for he always gave us more time because he understands the difficulties of emotions and feelings during this time. Thank you so much for such an amazing service although I hope to never ever see you again soon if ever there was a need which the circle of life says there will be we will definitely be returning here. This would be a 10 star review if possible

Don't expect to watch your loved one's casket actually lowered into the ground either. You have to pay over $300 more for that to happen. We were actually told that we needed to leave so they could do so. Why? No idea. Obviously, they are going to do so, so why would it matter if you are there or not?! I've been to many funerals and at no time did they asked for a casket liner (in case the person needs to be exhumed, not optional.) and not once was there an upcharge to watch the casket placed in the ground. Odd they don't require a liner in Wisconsin or Minnesota where they actually have weather. My suggestion is to ask to be cremated, unless you have an extra $10k laying around.

Brandon and his staff are very empathetic and attentive to any and all of your needs. We never had to ask for anything. They anticipated our every need. When they had learned that my father in law was a classic car enthusiast, they offered the services of their 1947 Cadillac Hearse. His friends all commented that he would have loved that his last ride was in such a beautiful car. We can't say enough about how well we were treated. I don't want to go back to Preston & Simons, but if and when I need the services of a mortuary, this is where I will be going. Thank you Brandon.

Even though he had a service going, he took the time to sit down with us and review the process, what services he provides, and fees. No computers, book, or calculating was needed. He knew all costs off the top of his head and was familiar with the cemetery and church that we were considering. He gave us his card and told us to call him when the time comes. No money was needed in advance, no paperwork needed to be signed, and no pressure was given to select Preston and Simons. When the time came, he took care of my mother and family. He gave us his personal phone number and was always available to answer all questions. Because of him, we had a death certificate ready within a week, a service booked through him, the cemetery booked, casket ordered, and flowers ordered. Still no money exchanged hands as we were waiting on life insurance. He was aware of this and never requested fees from us knowing it would come the day of the service. The facility itself was spacious and offers an upstairs reception area at an additional cost. We used this for family and friends to sit together after the viewing and eat while waiting for the service. The space was well worth the money. Brandon's character is the true seller. He is kind and compassionate. He didn't make our questions or needs seem like a burden and was always quick to respond. He is very much an expert in his field and connected with his community. This is a place I hope I don't have to return to for many decades, but when the time comes this will be the place for me and my family.

At first, it seemed like the staff was caring and that everything would go smoothly. Unfortunately,…read morethat was not our experience. When we selected our memorial brochures, we were later connected with the person responsible for designing them. The format they provided was different from what we originally chose. Instead of spending additional time trying to explain the changes we wanted during an already difficult time, we decided to settle for the version provided to make the process easier on ourselves. We also did not yet have a confirmed church date. I had to reach out twice before receiving a call back. When I finally did receive a call with the information, I asked for the details to be sent to me by email, but that email was never sent. Once the church arrangements were confirmed, we were told that the memorial portrait would be available at the church. However, when we arrived, there was no portrait present. I had to run out to the car to bring portraits inside myself. When I asked about the missing portrait during the service, I was told that the church did not have an easel. This is something that could have been communicated to us ahead of time, especially during the initial planning process. Additionally, during the paperwork process there were misspellings of our last name. Even after pointing this out, the final certificate still had the incorrect spelling. When it was time to make payments I went into the office to pay and by the time I got home someone was calling to collect payment I had already made prior. Overall, the experience has been frustrating. We have had to repeatedly reach out just to get updates or answers, and communication has been very poor. Even after the services were completed, we still had to contact them ourselves to receive an update regarding the headstone. During such a difficult time for our family, we expected clearer communication and greater attention to detail. We do appreciate Joesph and Priscilla during the viewing. They were very attentive and supportive.

My mother purchased her burial plot and later began paying for pre-arranged services. However, the details of what was included were never clearly explained. When it came time to complete payment, we encountered significant confusion because the original information provided about the payment plan was inaccurate. Years later, we were contacted and informed that an additional $6,000 was required for the opening and closing of the burial plot--an expense that had not been clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. It appears that additional charges continue to surface over time for services we believed were already covered. Overall, the process has lacked transparency and has created unnecessary financial and emotional stress. This experience reflects poorly on the business practices involved, as it feels as though the focus has been on generating additional charges rather than providing clear and honest service. I need a response I will go ahead and file a complaint if needed and report misleading or deceptive practices to the California Cemetery and Funeral Bureau or the Better Business Bureau or will Consider legal review.
