Very unhelpful staff , no one care you're there , no system for wait time or nurse checking on you.

This healthcare organization is terrible. I have very decent healthcare with Kaiser with my employer. The problem is that I am only allowed to go to the Bellevue clinic for urgent care. I was bleeding from my head (if you don't know it yet, a head wound is a bleeder for a long time). So I elected to pay out of pocket and go to Evergreen for stitches. When it was time to remove the stitches, I called Evergreen in advance to ask them how much it would cost to remove them at Evergreen or if I should go to Kaiser with a $20 copay. The representative on the phone told me that stitch removal was a part of the $570 I paid out of pocket. Then I got a bill from Evergreen saying I owed $146 for stitch removal. This is a disgusting practice and Evergreen should be ashamed of themselves. When I escalated the matter, even though calls were recorded to prove what I was told, the insisted I pay the bill (which I did today). I would not trust this company and I will never work with them again. I will pay for a taxi vs dealing with BS like this. read more

Have you looked at what you referred me to? I know damn good and well why I am obese. I'm suffering from multiple auto immune diseases , can't exercise, daily chronic pain . I had to stop work in 2010, in 2015 received 100% permanent disability. Also the cost initially $1800 and then up to $4000 that is Ludacris ! My previous doctor prescribed the appropriate medicines that managed my ailments without any adverse side effects. and it worked! It doesn't take a genius to see if I was prescribed it again that those ailments would be managed. The first 30 of the 40 years I've been with Lakeshore Dr. Esser handled all of my issues related to my health. But now I'm supposed to see seven providers ? I am disabled. It is hard to get in a car and go sit in a waiting room. this program is NOT designed for patients care but to squeeze thousands of of dollars out of patients to line the pockets of Evergreen Health Owners and Doctors. read more

The doctors are very helpful and will help you achieve your goals. I have been going to this hospital for over 10 years and had a good experience. They are very thoughtful and listen to your concerns when you are sick. Doctor Leticia Huynh and doctor Meredith Shao-Ti were both great doctors. I have been going here for primary care here for over 20 years. My experiences with Evergreen Health have all been very good. I have been able to leave & receive messages from my Primary Care Provider (PCP). I have also been able to get a travel prescription based on my recent health visit, without having to do a new appointment! Occasionally I have used other providers here, and it has all been good. I feel that during my annual wellness visit we get in as much as possible. The annual reminders from my PCP about good health practices have been very useful. Example: Years ago she told me that the studies suggesting that a glass of wine a day was good for you were all sponsored by the industry and not reliable. This year the New York Times confirmed that those studies were flawed. The space is big, open, carefully designed, and pleasantly decorated, in case that matters for you. LabCorp has a location here, but you can get your blood drawn at any of their facilities. If you come early in the morning to do a fasting blood draw there can be a bit of a wait because so many people have not eaten since overnight and need a fasting blood draw. read more

I had a very good experience since calling them. I needed an appointment but they were pretty booked. Fortunately, someone found an appointment for yhe very next day and I took it. Arriving was very easy as well as parking. It is located at a marketplace so there's a lot of spots. What is a bit challenging was to get used ti where the lobby is. Which is in the 3rd floor, I think. After you check in, you'll have to go to another floor and wait to yhe nurse. The rest is the same as with other doctors' visits. It was pretty efficient and fast. Don't know if it was because it was my first visit here but I really had a good experience this far. arrived in the morning and left before noon. I could see the difference when leaving that it would get busier. I thought that tests would be in yhe early morning? Later on I went for some tests, had to ask to someone but she was very tired (want to think...) and she just told me to go back to the checking point to ask them. So rude!!!!! I made the huuuge line at this point. Just to hear a very ni e lady told me I was at the right spot before. So I went back. No one at the front desk. Tried the checking in machine but didn't want to leave my email. What was the point for analysis! A staff tried to help but couldn't so at the end they checked me in in 1 minute!!!!!! Why wasting time with this machines and scanning things then?! 3 stars for this :( Blood test was painful. Took around 15-20 minutes. I guess the person doing it was new. Super nice though and tried warm compressions. At the end, we got it!! Yaaay!!! read more

I would not recommend anyone to Evergreen Healthy Primary Care and specially their Redmond branch. They have got in habit of charging unnecessary to patients. I visited Dr Poornima Krishnniah for preventative visit where she consulted me on dietary habits which should be very much covered as preventative. However, the hospital marked this as non-preventative and I am being held responsible to pay for the visit. I reached out to their billing department, Dr's clinic manager and Patient Relations team but no luck. They don't even bother to respond. The worst of all was that the patient relations person Bailey cut the phone on me saying that they cannot do anything and I have to pay for the bills. I am facing struggles with my lab orders too. They coded it wrongly and hence Insurance is not covering it and again I am responsible to pay for preventative lab orders too. This is the worst experience to have and I strongly recommend against this hospital! read more

I have a very crucial issue with my medication and the staff fails to return calls or messages in the portal in a timely manner(meaning a day or so later). My negative experience would be the "labcorp". It took 90 minutes in line (eventhough I got a ticket) to wait for a lab draw. I should of checked in first, then went to see my MD and then that probably would speed up my wait time. It took almost 6 weeks to get a "new appointment" in to see a PCP. They still use Cerner for EMR (electronic medical record). I had to get a slip for labs, mammogram, PT. I took a photo of the PCP that are located at this location. Easy parking. read more

This place is a joke. I scheduled a primary care appointment three weeks ago, also to receive FMLA. The 1st nurse who brought me back told me no FMLA due to no paperwork. I said I was made unaware and even had asked the front office what to do to prepare. Then my Dr. who I don't recommend Chan Wu a young woman was so disrespectful and disorganized. Telling me I shouldn't be on the medication I'm on that is prescribed to me by a psychiatrist I see. Please don't waste your time, they took my money and didn't see me for my wellness exam, nor helped me with FMLA and to get to the right process. Receptionist told me that US technician left for another US app-t and I have to wait when she will be back (when she will be back - unknown). They simply canceled/skip my US app-t. I have excellent care with my PCP and the Clinic. There is Patient care, Urgent Care and Emergency in the same building. The check-in is easy and quick, I am seen shortly and I get the attention I need at every visit. There is plenty free parking. The pharmacy is close by to get medications I may need. read more

I love my doctor, but these people will not work with you on finances. If you can't afford treatment, they will send you directly to collections. They have ruined me financially, and I am now in a position where I have to choose between paying rent and seeing a doctor. read more

Just needed a physical and a prescription refill. It was an easy and pleasant experience. Office and staff are nice. The waiting room was so quiet when I went, I was honestly just enjoying the quiet while waiting for my appointment. It's probably not always like this but I really appreciate nice waiting rooms that aren't dim, sad looking rooms. This one is spaced out, with huge windows, so lots of natural light. The nurse I saw for my appointment was lovely. No complaints really. read more

My experience at the clinic was very great. Staff was very informative and helpful. Love the experience in the clinic. After the visit and dealing with their billing was a nightmare. I received wrong information about what was being billed. They billed completely different insurance neither of which were mine to get a higher payment. The staff and facility is garbage. DO NOT GO HERE!! PLEASE for your health and stress. They sent me to the wrong address link via email. The Kirkland Evergreen receptionist called here to tell them I was going to be late at exactly 1.35 and I showed up 10 min late exactly. My phone said 1:55 pm also despite me DRIVING 51 MILES from BONNEY LAKE they denied taking care of me as a new patient. They have a 10 min late rule I wasn't aware of. So I drive from Bonney Lake 1 hour 25 min to the wrong location. Had a receptionist Call them to make them aware I would be late and they still denied me to see a Dr. I'm going thru very bad things medically and specifically picked this place as my primary care and was treated like crap from the beginning. The front receptionist Lin didn't do anything to help me even tho she was the one who got the call from the Kirkland location of my late arrival due to wrong email being sent. Lin's first attempt was denying me and was gonna make me leave to reschedule. Forget trying to make sure I get taken care of. I had to raise my voice for her to even check her system for another day but at that point what's the point? Isn't that considered a sign? That's poor etiquette and customer service. No surprise of the low rating ! The rooms smelled the staff was so rude to the point of me taking my daughter up the road to Swedish. The respect was like night and day.. Bernie was the reason I will no longer come here. He was so rude to my daughter until she was crying. because he was tired and busy he said. I told him he didn't need to be so mean to her. and he said there's the door. Unbelievable I've never been treated with such disrespect. I will no longer be using evergreen for any of my medical needs, nor will my family. I'd have put zero star if there was one. I went to this facility after reading great reviews on a sports medicine doctor. I ended up paying about $600 out of pocket with no outcome for my lower back pain. Worst yet, the treatment plan was decided neither by my doctor nor by me. The initial intake and staff experience was good. The doctor seemed personable and asked a lot of good questions. We both agree that I'd better do an MRI on top of x-ray on my lower back, to ensure the diagnosis was accurate. While I was waiting to hear from the nurse on when I should go for my MRI, the nurse contacted me saying "we have decided to send you to physiotherapy because that's what your insurance suggests before they can cover the cost". Imagine, medically-speaking the least qualified person in the equation, the insurance customer service representative who talked with the nurse decided what my treatment plan should be. That's a shame! I had no problem to cover the $800 cost out of pocket. Yet, no one bothered to ask me. I just became a number in the broken healthcare system and in this sub-optimal health organization called Evergreen Health. I have started a few health startup companies. I know how broken the healthcare ecosystem is. Though, the modern health-care organizations have changed processes to deploy patient-centric and outcome-based systems. This organization is not one of them. That's why I don't blame the doctor and I'm not naming him in my review. The blame is on Evergreen Health, as a health organization, that is still running like we're in 1950s. They do what they can to snatch money out of you without getting sued, and you the patient are the least important entity in their decision framework. read more

Wowow I had extreme abdomen pains and the doctor told me it was because I was drinking milk and should go off cheese and meats so I went to another doctor and they told me that I had a severe kidney infection and was close to going septic so yikes don't reccomend. read more

My husband and I have utilized this urgent care 3 times over the last year. Of the 3 visits, there have been times were, necessary questions or diagnostic tests were not done to properly diagnose me. As a result, I ended up shelling out close to 200$ for the visit and became home-bound for the weekend with worsening symptoms. I have been asked on one occasion what I thought my diagnosis should be. (I am not a doctor, I cannot diagnose myself, so why ask me that question?) Their billing, and staff when you call are extremely rude and the level of service is just too sub par. Bottom Line: Go somewhere else. This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to. Went to them with a back injury on an L&I claim, which they messed up and my claim manager has been contacting them for weeks for a diagnosis. A month of pain later & I still can't see the physical therapy professional I was referred to because my claim is still pending approval because they can't do their job. Worst Experience EVER!. Nurses were fine. The ONE and Only Doctor was a JERK. I cut my hand w/ a box cutter late Sunday night. Just moved here, opening 170 boxes. Wrapped up my finger w/9 +Band-Aid's and stopped the bleeding but the PAIN was so severe I was awake all night in PAIN. Went to Clinic on Monday Morning and they said it was too late for stitches. ALL they did was put on Band Strips to adhere the cut better. Doctor Jerk wrote me an RX for 8 Tabs of Acetaminophen and Codeine. I asked for either more tablets or something stronger - Nurses came back into the room and SAID NO. Doctor Jerk wouldn't even face me. Doctor Jerk spent an entire 45 seconds with me. DON"T GO TO EVERGREEN FOR ANYTHING. My first and last experience since moving from Austin, Texas. I thought Doctors were supposed to care about the Health Care that they are delivering. I had an appointment with Dr. Cooley. I took time off from work for this appointment. My appointment was canceled the same day without enough notice to go to work and not lose anytime. The day of my rescheduled appointment, I was running late, so I called to let them know. After 2 attempts, I finally got through to someone. I was told to come in and see if they could work me in as I would have been 15 mins late or less. As soon as I checked in, they told me I was marked as a no show and would have to wait another month for an appointment. No thank you!! The communication between scheduling and staff and scheduling and patient is terribly ineffective. This is why people do not see their doctors. So frustrating! read more

Ehhh.This place is a mixed bag for me. Its pretty and clean. The place seems to work pretty efficiently. But the quality of service I have received has varied quite a bit. For billing, there was a huge problem last year where they coded the billing wrong. They told my insurance company that I went to see a doctor I hadn't actually seen, who wasn't under their plan, so I got charged alot extra. I called Evergreen to get it fixed, but that never happened, and in the mean time that bill went to collections. Then my insurance f!@#$d up when i called them to have them fix it, so that took a few more months, and in the interim I am confused about which charges are for what, so something else goes to collections that shouldn't. Ugh, took about half a year for the whole crappy situation to get worked out. And they also only take credit card payments for bills over the phones during 9-5 weekday hours which is quite inconvenient. My doctor has at times been good and attentive, and at other times she couldn't give a crap. When I go in for urgent care, which is convenient that they have a an urgent care center, the care tends to suck. If I'm not feeling well, give me an antibiotic and send me out the door. So what if I just had a cold and that won't help and I just wasted my time and money. Their lab techs also vary quite a bit in skill. I have tough veins, but lab techs normally can get in and out pretty easy. Not always so here. One time I couldnt get a procedure done because 2 techs couldn't get a line in, and I still got charged for them trying and failing. The only reason I still go to this place is because its a pain in the ass to switch doctors, and this is very close to my house. I am gonna be in Japan for a year, so when I come back definitely gonna find a new place. read more

Waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes just to find out my appointment time was pushed back to one hour later. There was no other patient waiting and the place seemed to be very slow. It would have been nice if they had let me know of the situation when I checked in at first, and not when I asked after waiting for 40 min. I had to drive 50 min to get there and had to cancel the appointment after waisting my time waiting for 40 min in the waiting room to be called. I've been to the primary care center three times for myself, as well as the PACLAB, and we've had to visit the ER four times now for my husband. The entire medical center has friendly, pleasant, and helpful staff. Primary Care You can request an appointment online (so when you think of it after work and never remember during the day, go request an appointment and they will call you so you don't have to remember!). The receptionists are super nice and if they can't answer your question, they will pass you on to someone who knows. The primary care floor is divided up into sections so there's a separate waiting area for each section, which is awesome. I first visited Dr. Klassen in December and found her knowledgeable and attentive. To start off, she came in and visited with me while I sat fully-clothed in one of the chairs. She took the time to learn about me and listen to my concerns. She also shared a little bit about herself. She left so I could change and then we did the medical exams. It was refreshing and thoughtful to have the chance to comfortably chat with her beforehand rather than having our first encounter with me sitting on the the papered exam table freezing and mostly naked, save the flimsy gown. Unfortunately she's now on a several months' leave of absence that started in February. I'm doing my follow-ups with Dr. Kaushik who is also just as knowledgeable, but perhaps slightly less friendly. She might have just been having a bad/busy day. She's not cold, but she didn't go out of her way to make me feel comfortable like Dr. Klassen did. Emergency Room With my husband's condition, we would never have to wait anyway, but I've also never seen anyone in the ER waiting area. We've had a different sets of techs, nurses, and doctors on each occasion, all of whom have been extremely amiable. Though each set of staff handles things their own way, it's clear they are professional, knowledgeable, and the entire team works well together. They try to get us out as quickly as possible without cutting corners. They seem genuinely concerned about my husband, keep in contact with my husband's primary doctors (at Evergreen's Kirkland center) when necessary, explain each step of the process (though we know the drill - it's nice of them to make sure we are comfortable with what they are doing), are attentive to our needs our entire visit, and have a good sense of humor - keeping things upbeat and laughing at my husband's cheesy jokes. Bonus: If you visit the Urgent Care upstairs and they decide your situation is more critical, the ER is only two floors down and they simply transfer your paperwork for you. There's no second car ride, no second waiting room, no second set of forms. PACLAB I've had my blood drawn for testing three times now. The techs make it quick and painless. Plus, they always choose the right vein (in the past, I've been poked and prodded whenever blood was needed because the techs didn't seem to know how to find a good vein on me...). read more

I'm new to the area and, after seven years with the same doctors, I was apprehensive about finding a new medical provider. Of course, after a recent vacation, I came home with a nasty lung ailment and, alas, had no doc to turn to in my time of need! An acquaintance referred me to Evergreen and I was impressed from my first phone to them. I saw Dr. Chan and thought he was excellent: thorough, patient and kind. I thought I'd jot down a quick review as I had trouble finding many doctors rated in this area! If you're looking for a new medical provider, these guys are great! read more

I have had great experiences with Dr. Wilson Chan and the staff at the ER. That said, I also had a bad experience where I needed to see a doctor right away and saw someone else. This doctor didn't really take my concerns as seriously as I would have liked, and in this case seemed both dismissive and in a rush to get out of there. He made a conclusion that I strongly disagreed with, prescribed me something that made me a little less dizzy, and then was gone. Well, 4 hours later I was in pain again and in the emergency room. It is hard to give this feedback to them because they have no email contact on their site and the email survey they sent me was hideously long and tedious-- I wasn't going to burn 30 minutes on that. read more

They weren't busy, they were just late. I had my second ERVisit in a few days this week today. After my not so great experience with Swedish Redmond, I decided to go elsewhere. The staff here was professional, caring and had a good sense of humor. I did NOT feel like I annoyed them and everyone I came into contact with was upbeat and had a great sense of humor, which can do a lot when you aren't feeling well and just want to find out what the problem is and be on your way. My new apartment will be across the street in Issaquah and I fully intend to bypass Swedish and head directly to this place instead! read more

Dr. Wilson Chan is my mother's doctor for the last five years. He listens well and is always professional, and most importantly, strikes perfectly to when conveying and convincing my mother to follow his advice. My mother has her own way of interpreting medications prescribed, but Dr. Chan has been very patient with my mother and always explains the way my mother can understand why taking the prescribed dosage is crucial to manage her illness. Now my mother, in her 80s, is in great health and her chronic medical conditions are all under control, all thanks to Dr. Chan. read more
