This company uses deceptive marketing tactics to sell you a water softener. They say they'll test your water. If you want to know what's in your public water supply the TCEQ requires extensive testing by a third party accredited laboratory and all results are accessible to the public. You should also receive a consumer confidence report each year and copies are available from your provider. Just Google- TCEQ Drinking Water Watch. I've met some technicians and their understanding of drinking water operations is severely lacking and misguided. read more

We were so incredibly pleased with our system in our first house that we had a brand new system installed at our new house before we moved in! The water is amazing! Just like one of the other reviewers, I got duped. Our area had some issues with our water so when a note was left on our door to fill a test tube with water for testing, unfortunately I did it without paying attention to who it was going to. This company is relentless. They have called me 14 times.....yes 14 times and will not stop calling me. I finally looked it up and realized it wasn't our county trying to test. It was all a sales/marketing pitch. I am looking into a water filtration system, but will never choose a company who bothers its clients relentlessly, especially in the evening hours, every single night. It's nidicolous. I received a yellow slip on my door with a mini bottle/vial to place my water in. Normally I throw away anything that is left at my door, but something about this stood out to me. Having lived in Houston for close to 20 years, I've experienced the hurricanes, floods, chemical spills, and refinery fires. I have even received scary letters from my MUD telling me that there were issues with my water that could have serious repercussions. It was eventually fixed, yes, but we were told a bit after-the-fact, about how horrible the water had been. So, I was willing to give a water sample. I did receive a phone call back from a very nice person, the very next day. I was told about setting up a free water analysis appointment and that it would only take about 35 to 40 minutes. I figured.... okay, I can do 35 minutes... heck I watch my favorite football team lose for HOURS. The technician was on time, polite, and very personable and fun to talk to. The tests were thorough and explained to me step by step in a language I could understand. It was highly interesting and dare I say kind of " fun." They asked me if I wanted any advice on ways to improve my water quality, and that impressed me. They asked me, they didn't assume I wanted to hear it. They gave me quite simple solutions really, and then left some literature and said goodbye. They said if I ever wanted to get in contact with them, to let them know. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. I was imagining some scary dude would come in and be sort of rough and not want to leave, but nope... just a sweet technician who knew what he was talking about and quite knowledgeable, and it made my day better. I learned a lot I will never look at my water the same way again. I highly recommend it. My noisy little kids were even allowed to stick around for the test. Great experience. read more

They showed up and instaled a unit worked great for a few days then started leaking called them and was told id have to pay for a service call and it would be 2 days b4 they could get out their mean while my hallway is filling with water called a plumer in and was told not 1 fitting was tight calked them back and was asked what do i expect them to do and if i wanted to cancel the service call and that they dont do flood clean up so if you havent had a flood in your home lately thees guys are the ones u should call read more

The quality of the water my family drinks, baths in, and cooks with is VERY important to me. Do your research and you will find independent studies, time and time again that prove just how the dangerous chemicals (chlorine, solvents, etc) are to our health. Got duped into giving my personal information to this company. Then I started getting random phone calls from an unfamiliar number. They never left a message. Once I looked it up I realized it was sales calls from the non-descript water test left taped to my home the day prior. The test doesn't include a company name, nor that it's an advertising ploy. I should have realized it wasn't from the city water as there were no markings whatsoever, and the city would at least use a header to let you know who it is from. Don't fall for the random yellow slip and vile taped to your door! Unless you want to purchase a water treatment system for your home I guess. read more

Signed on w/Everwell not knowing I would be financing with what had to be the crookedest finance company charging me so much in interest, it ended up costing me $30.00/mo; in interest ALONE! About one year into our service with the high-dollar equipment, I noticed clothes smelling really musty. So, I called to ask them about it & was told someone could come by & check all our equipment. Great - but then they called back a couple of minutes later, stating that it's been over a year since I've had the equipment & I would have to pay a $69.00 service charge for a tech; to come check out the issue(s). I said, after all I have (& will continue) to pay - no thanks. AND thanks for nothing, but screwing with a girl who makes just enough to scrape by - paying my loan off will take the next 6-7 years while I help take care of my husband who has Stage IV cancer. read more

Before I begin this review, let me make two things crystal clear: In my opinion The Puronics Water Systems are by far the greatest water purifiers on the market-in fact-I do not believe any other system can even come close to the quality of this product out of the many I have researched. Secondly, I believe the owner of this distributorship to be an upstanding-God Fearing Man-facing great challenges in order to help the many people whose water is below quality from the impurities which may be flowing into their homes. I believe the owner has put his finances and belief in the system on the line in order to help many people in the area of his distributorship to purify their water. I am of the opinion that he has been misled by one of his managers which actions could potentially damage if not destroy much of the wonderful work the owner has put in place. When I went to work for this company, I was promised great benefits by this particular manager. He first promised(I have proof and documentation of this) that he would work one on one, training me and would share his commissions with me; he did not do this. Instead, he put me through a rush training class and promised me 2-3 leads per day. Most days I received 1 lead-rarely received 2 and never 3 leads in a day. The first appointment I went on, I lost and had to completely refill the credit app. The client was very patient and received credit approval. This particular manager aided in the sale and we sold it. Later that night, the man texted me to say that he wished to cancel his order. I had made a mistake and left a water pump at his home and so I returned the next day to pick it up. After detailed discussion with the man as to why he really cancelled, I am of the firm opinion that he did so because he felt like the manager was very drunk when he talked with him on the phone-and due to my lack of experience and training. This was on a Monday. The following Saturday, we sold another one. Before I agreed to work for the company, this manager informed me that they go ahead and install the product ASAP, but the people have three days to cancel. He told me not to worry, because if I needed an advance during those three days, all I would have to do is let him know if I needed an advance and he could talk to the owner and I would receive one. I asked him for an advance on this deal and the manager informed me that I would have to wait until the three days were up. I had understood him to say that I would be fully paid after the three days were up if a client did not cancel. At this same time, he also informed me that I would have to wait until a week from the following Friday to actually be paid in full. This sale did not cancel during the timeframe and as far as I know continue to enjoy the benefits of this superior system. The manager guaranteed me my commission on the deal would eventually be at least a certain dollar amount. This turned out not to be true by over 100 dollars less. Then, to top it all off, the manager said I needed to watch him due to his years of experience perform a demonstration. He told me the only day he had off and could ride with an agent was on Sunday. He told me he would call around 9 or 10am and text me the address of where to pick him up so we could go on an appointment that Sunday. I waited, but the phone never sounded. Later that Sunday, he told me I missed an appointment at 12:30pm and that I was supposed to call him first. I firmly reminded him that he had told me he would first call me. On the following Tuesday, this manager said he was going to send me to an area where the water was not hard(he said he knew this due to the prior experience of the other salespeople in this particular area) and coached me as to how to perform the test so that the people might believe their water was hard. The wife was the only one who did not like the water and I believe they would have bought based upon the merits of the FANTASTIC PURONICS WATER SYSTEM changing their water into purified tasty water. I performed the hardness test correctly and the water out of their faucet proved not to be hard. I called the manager and informed him of the results. The Husband was an engineer for a major oil and gas company which recently built a tremendous complex near FM 2920 moving many of their employees into that area from many other parts of the world. The next day this particular manager fired me, saying that I was only going to cost him money by not following his instructions. In my opinion, this manager communicated much other misrepresentations to me. My impression of him is that he wants to hire and mislead salespeople so that they will gain sales based upon family, acquaintances, friends, etc. of the salespeople. This particular manager also informed me that he was interviewing and hiring new salespeople even though their were not enough leads available to support the number of salespeople already working. read more
