I know. shame on me. first on a Honda xr250. he "rebuilt"…read morethe top end for 1000$. got less than maybe 30 hours out of it and never started again. was told no compression by another mechanic. had to sell for parts. Now on A KTM dirt bike he charged me 950$ to rebuild the carb. It was end of season so I never put any miles on it. put in storage. tried to start it up for this season and wouldn't start. took it back and he charged me 500$ to clean out the carb HE rebuilt and replace "bad gas" that HE put in. Didn't make any offer of discount. told me I didn't run it enough! I don't know if he's qualified or not but I got a really bad deal and could never recommend him to anyone. maybe BBB should know.
