First: he accidentally broke an exterior light in 2 places but didn't tell me. I noticed it when I was looking at the fixture, which was completely smashed on two sides. I sent him a photo and he said he must have hit it with his ladder and offered to replace it. That's pretty difficult to miss hitting, but whatever. I asked if I could pay him to install another light that was broken on my front porch, of course I would pay for that. I ordered the light based off the part number. Partially my fault for not taking it out of the box to inspect it, but I had to leave the house and he installed the light. When I returned home I noticed the light was 2 times smaller than the other 2. I mean, wouldn't a professional ask a customer "did you notice the size difference", especially because it's so noticeable, before installing the light? My usual electrician certainly would have because it's his name and company reputation and he doesn't want something to look bad or be incorrect without reconfirming with me. Now I have to pay my usual electrician to uninstall the smaller light fixture and pay to have the correct size installed. I take responsibility on part of the issue m, but I expect more from people who take pride in their work and this issue impacted my overall satisfaction. Good job installing my Ring system. I've had a few issues with sensors installed incorrectly that I have been fixing myself. I won't use him again but I would recommend him, just double check his work before he leaves and don't expect any "extra effort" on his part. Definitely knows how to install the cameras and door locks and set up the Nest system. Zero issues there. Worked quickly and pleasant to work with. Trustworthy to leave alone in my house (which I'm usually weird about). So still impressed by him and most of the work he did for me.

I am sharing this because of my disappointment. We were unlucky. At first we had the appointed employee come faithfully. We were happy for a while, however, we always saw various pests in between. My husband convinced me that you can't get them all. However, I felt that it could get better. I called the office to request the appointed employee to spray inside. He had usually sprayed outside. He came inside once. We have had this service since April, 23. The one time he came in, we discovered only one ant that was seen. We were happy, however, during the next visit, I asked the appointed employee to come inside, however, he stated that he didn't need to and he was spraying something outside that should help. However, about a week or so later, all-----broke loose. We had ants everywhere. The bathroom, baseboard, etc. They agreed to return again for $91 charge for October. By then, the ants had moved to the kitchen area. We discovered that they were in the sink, some cabinets, behind the stove and even in the Refrigerator! We were in trouble. We cancelled our service and because of that we paid for October and they stated that the pest control and termite control were connected. We had to pay $300 also. Unfortunately, we kept the termite service. I am terribly upset with our results for the pest control. I hope we don't feel the same about the termite control. I have not experienced this even in older homes. I don't understand what happened.......?

When Ed, an ADT technician, arrived, he was not only professional but also empathetic to our needs. Despite being supported by a large company, he took the time to address our concerns and provided personalized service. After completing the installation, Ed felt like a new friend. Throughout the process, Ed maintained excellent communication. He kept us informed and allowed us to make decisions about the placement of hardware that best suited our needs. The Google Nest cameras, smoke detectors, touch screen keypads, and mobile app are the most advanced system that met all our requirements. I highly recommend ADT for both residential and commercial properties. I have been a satisfied customer with ADT monitoring for my retail business for over 20+ years. It gives me peace of mind to now have ADT protect my loved one.

The saleman was a perfect southern gentleman, and we trusted what he said instead of really reading and understanding the contract. It's the job of a salesman to highlight the good and not the bad. In the end, we canceled the contract the same day of install. It was a bad start to what would've been a 3+ year business relationship. I can't speak to the quality of service after install, but be sure to double check whatever they tell you. If it's not in writing, it doesn't exist.

    This company is way back logged on their orders for installation. We signed the contract May 8th,…read moreand they could not install the system until a week and a half later. The cost for installation and monthly bills far exceeded other companies, but we wanted to go with ADS because they are a local business. When a family emergency came up, and we had to go out of town, we called to reschedule the installation. The rep Allen told us, rather sternly, if we did not keep our appointment, that we would have to wait until the end of the month for installation. We were shocked because usually security companies are so quick with the install, it is literally that day or thereabouts when they get the house secured. I asked if there might be any cancellations... The rep became angry in his tone, insistent that we get it done on that day. "Can't you get your grandpa to come over for the installation?" he asked. This was not possible, besides, we felt that we needed to be present for the installation. When we called later that day and said we were deciding to go with another security company, the rep Allen was extremely rude to us about it, and he hung up on us in mid sentence. We called back but he never returned our call. We thought the manager in the Augusta office would be able to handle it. At the time, we were still open to staying with ADS, however, we were not able to speak with the manager, and we called him several times, with no answer. The manager of ADS has the same surname as the rep. It is obvious that the rep gets some sort of a commission on his sales. The whole thing was ridiculous and entirely unprofessional. We have gone with another company.

They said even though I paid off the equipment that didn't work well to begin with, it would be 90 days to cancel the service. I don't live there anymore & feel certain the new owners don't need me getting notifications about their comings & going. This time I was on hold 28 minutes & don't use the chat if you need support or changes to your account either, they'll just tell you to call.

You can never get customer support long wait times and if you do it is over sea's when you request to speak with someone in the US it doesn't happen though Vivint is based out of Utah. Have complaints about their business practices, especially when it deals with my safety. They are an alarm service you cannot reach when the equipment is not working very reassuring to me. You buy an alarm to know your house and family are safe, well think again. Not with the Vivant alarm system or its support team working . I have spent over six hours on the phone not getting anything done. No one could answer a question to get me to help most of my conversation was with the Philippines, yet a Utah-based company how American. The owners are Todd Pedersen · Keith Nellesen who send out there manipulating salesman with fraudulent claims. There is no way to reach corporate headquarters oh 6lets make it 7 hours on the phone you can even reach anyone to cancel
