I've known about Ace of Spays for several years. I first heard about them through a friend's…read morerescue, so after rescuing a cat this fall, they were my first-stop for advice. They were wonderful. Dr. Cobb got back to email questions-- and I wasn't even a client, not at that point. So anyone complaining about not getting a call back-- did you check the number you were calling? Whenever I've called Ace of Spays over the last 2 months, if I left a message, I got a call back. The only time the phone rang without anyone picking up was this past Friday when I was dropping off my cat for a neuter; I had a quick question, but I was in the parking lot, so I just went inside, figuring worst case scenario I could drive the 3 minutes back home to get the paperwork I had forgotten. First, I want to note how amazing everyone on staff that I had contact with has been-- both before bringing my kitty for his surgery and since. As I said, I first contacted them about advice for a female cat I had rescued. I was trying to find her a longer-term rescue. I had taken her in during the cold snap we had at the beginning of December. I was hitting brick walls wherever I turned; no organizations within 100 miles of where I live would help. And when the cat started to go into heat, with an intact male in the house awaiting his neuter appointment, that wasn't a good mix. I needed help, and Ace of Spays put me in touch with a rescue that actually helped. They gave me a list of different organizations that I could reach out to, but stressed one in particular, which wound up being the group that helped get the cat the care she needed. Second, Ace of Spays offers the highest quality care. Don't let the lower costs scare you away. Several years ago I had another pet neutered at a different vet. I received little to no instructions beyond the appointment time. No options for pain meds. Not even instructions on whether or not kitty should be confined after his surgery. Nothing. So I was pretty surprised to see the detailed instructions on what to know before the surgery, what to know after the surgery, and about pain meds as an option when I made my current kitty's appointment. I was actually upset, thinking about it, especially since the other vet charged just a few dollars shy of $500 for the exact same surgery which Ace of Spays charged, with 3-days of pain meds, only $185. With the other vet, I was told more than half the cost went to anesthesia. With Ace of Spays, my cat got the same kind of care, but I think with their specialization in spay and neuter, they have more expertise than a regular vet. Also, with the pain meds were a liquid (meant to be given orally), they gave me pre-measured syringes. So there was no guesswork about how to get a pill into a cat who refuses pills (even in the little pill pocket thingies or rolled into a churu treat). And everything was easy to schedule online, easy to pay the deposit, and easy to pay the balance. And, if I had questions-- they were either a phonecall or an email away. Highly recommend. They do good work, necessary work and are literally life savers.

But I can say for now, everything about making the appointment online was easy and everything about the appointment and the surgery was readily available to read, nothing timed out and the $40. deposit was fast.

I have 6 kitties who eat quality kibble, get snacks, and catnip, and tons of love. My 8 and 3 year old boys are both neutered already, but I needed to get the 4 youngest done, and even though I'm low income, I believe if you're going to own pets, don't add to the already overpopulation of unwanted animals. I researched and found that Bryan Animal Hospital will fix your animal for $10 if you are low income and the state reimburses them the cost of the surgery (I think it's like 80%). In the past month, I took my baby Nero in first to be neutered to stop him spraying, and now he's no longer marking me! Thank you, Bryan Animal Hospital, for that! I only had to pay the neuter fee and the cost of medication for him to go home with, and his first series of kitty shots was free. You do have to get their rabies done or pay for it there, but there are free rabies clinics throughout Burlington County, which is what I did for my cats. The vet tech told me about the rabies clinics, which was awesome! I then took ZaZa in, and then Darla. They do offer extra services at the time of the spay and neuter, but they didn't make a big deal about me not wanting to add them on. When I took my last kitten in, they said she had an upper respiratory cold and needed antibiotics, which cost me $50, and I had to bring her back in 2 weeks later, which was today. I looked it up, because she wasn't coughing and didn't have any congestion or anything, and everything said that cats don't typically need antibiotics for that type of thing and it clears on its own. I took her in today, and they said she was fine for surgery, and I never even gave her the antibiotics, so I do feel like they prescribed her the medication without her really needing it. I don't like to give my kids any more medication than I have to, and I'm the same with my fur babies. I have to get them all their 2nd booster kitty shots but at the office they are $45 each so I believe I'm going to do that at a vaccine clinic for $15 each, just because there's so many cats, and I am on a fixed income. The techs and the vet are very sweet there and friendly. They will really make you feel like they care about your baby and help you feel confident about leaving them in their care. Thank you for helping me keep my little fur monsters healthy, Bryan Animal Hospital! I truly do appreciate all that you've done for me and my family.

I got a quote over the phone for my 3lb puppy to get bath, brushed, nails clipped and haircut. The quote was $60 and when I picked up the puppy I was charged $100.00 and they didn't clip his nails or cut his hair everywhere, just his face! They kept telling me to take the dog to the ER and gave the impression he was going to die. When he pulled through after I was up all night syringe feeding him for 8 days, when I brought him back, they lectured me about not giving him a balanced diet! WTF the puppy ate nothing in his own. I was syringe feeding him the food they gave me to keep him alive. He finally ate eggs and they're like that's not a complete diet.

My cat, Jasper, was very ill and hospitalized there for 4 days. The emergency room veterinarians and technicians were amazing. One ER doctor called me multiple times over the course of 2 days just to keep me updated on my baby. How amazing! Then Jasper was transferred from emergency medicine to the internal medicine team. This is when we met Dr. DiBenedetto- our hero. I cannot say enough amazing things about this man. He showed true compassion towards me and Jasper, he worked extremely hard to determine what was causing Jaspers illness, spent a great deal of time providing me with all the details of his illness, treated him appropriately, and SAVED HIM! Nine days after discharge, Jasper started to feel unwell again. Luckily we already had a follow up visit scheduled, so off we went to Redbank again. Dr. DiBenedetto promptly determined the diagnosis, explained to me in detail what we could do to help him, and provided me with honest and empathetic options. We decided to treat Jasper at home, as funds were tight after a 4 day hospital stay. Now two weeks after that last visit, Jasper is THRIVING!! He saved him for 2nd time!! Jasper turned 9 on June 6th and I owe it all to Redbank's amazing staff- especially Dr. DiBenedetto, his tech Liz, and the rest of the internal medicine team. The empathy, compassion, thoroughness, respectfulness, and intelligence that Dr. DiBenedetto possesses is truly exceptional. Thank you!!!! PS- I also love that they have a coffee station, water, tea, and a vending machine. The establishment is always very clean and the front desk staff are polite. All the techs have always treated me and my pets with respect and compassion.
