You enter, ( it's one way) and pull into one of the open spaces ( there's at least 12), click your card, and charge away! These are all fast level three chargers, and they reasonably priced. The entire building is immaculately clean, and if you don't want to hang in your car while it's charging, there's an enclosed lobby, where you can sit and enjoy some quiet time, grab a snack from the vending machine, or get some last-minute things done on your phone or laptop. Once you're done, and you head out of the exit, it's a one-way street, so it makes it easy to jump back into the thick of the San Francisco streets!

When we picked up the RV, we did not receive a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle or an explanation of its features and operation. Instead of taking the time to show us the ins and outs of the RV in person, we were simply told to watch a 35-minute video if we had questions. For first-time renters or anyone unfamiliar with that specific RV, this was not an adequate substitute for proper customer service. During the second week of our cross-country trip, the generator in our RV stopped working. We had specifically paid for the unlimited generator usage option, yet the generator was never repaired despite our calling and emailing the service department every day. While the water pump was fixed, the generator issue remained unresolved for the rest of our trip. This created serious safety concerns for our family. My mother relies on a CPAP machine to sleep, and we were traveling with children who have special needs. Without a working generator, we were forced to spend approximately $2,000 on hotels just to have air conditioning and electricity overnight. To make matters worse, while we were still in El Paso, Texas--about 20 hours from California--we were instructed to return the RV by 5:00 p.m. California time. We explained that making that drive without a functioning generator in extreme heat was unsafe, but our circumstances did not appear to be taken into consideration. One of Road Bear's own service representatives even told us that the generator was "not a good unit," yet no meaningful solution was provided. We were also never informed that the generator should not be used while driving, despite paying extra for unlimited generator use. We expected a reliable RV and responsive customer service, especially considering the premium price we paid. Instead, we experienced inadequate orientation, an unresolved mechanical issue, significant unexpected expenses, and a great deal of stress during what was supposed to be a memorable family vacation. I hope Road Bear takes responsibility for this experience and improves both the reliability of its vehicles and the level of customer service it provides. Customers should receive a proper in-person orientation before leaving the lot, and mechanical issues that affect safety should be addressed promptly. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend renting from Road Bear Rentals & Sales.

We drove 2.5 hours to take a look. A gentleman named Norville, listed as the Sales Manager on their website, showed us the trailer. Before checking anything out I confirmed the listed price online with him and he said "oh yeah, we don't like to babysit these units so we price them to move fast". We spent 45 minutes or so checking everything out on the trailer and decided to buy it. When we're signing the paperwork, I declined their $5000 "service plan" (over 20% of the cost of the trailer) and offered $1k less than their asking price on the trailer, which I thought was reasonable offer. We finished up the initial paperwork and he left to ask the Sales Manager (or is it the Sales Manager Manager?) about the offer, only to return with "bad news folks, we made a mistake on the price online actually, the price is $7000 MORE than what we listed it for online.. sorry about that." Now, mistakes happen, I get that, but they made zero effort to correct this mistake and instead just demanded the full amount. The unnamed Sales Manager Manager didn't even come out to apologize for this so-called mistake. Maybe they thought since we'd invested our whole day into it already and were set on buying it, they thought we'd still go for it. Maybe they pull this stunt on folks who decline insanely priced services plans. Who knows If this were truly a mistake they should have attempted to make it right. I would have even come up from their listed asking price a bit if they acted in good faith. A company of this size should have owned this mistake and made it right, even if it meant they didn't make a bunch of profit off of us. That was their mistake to correct, not ours. We will never shop another El Monte RV location again and will actively warn everyone we know to steer clear of this shady operation. I'll also be filing a complaint with the CA DMV and CA DOJ regarding false advertising practices.

We are so disappointed to have wasted our day, gas, and energy to just be baited and switched like that. So unacceptable and unprofessional. The fake sale price is still online so buyers beware!
