The whole outlet was burnt and the end of the vacuum plug was melted! I had immediately looked on Yelp for electricians and stumbled across Fixel Electric and Lighting. I had called Fixel on a Saturday afternoon. The team member I spoke to had informed me that the earliest they could arrive on-site was Monday between 11:00 - 2:00. We had scheduled for an appointment at that time. On Monday, the electrician was slightly behind due to other reservations taking longer than expected. Even though the arrival window was between 11:00 - 2:00, the electrician showed up at around 3:45. He kept in contact with me every hour though even though he was running behind! The electrician came out and replaced the one outlet with no issues! The service was great! We would use Fixel Electric and Lighting again!

He assured me the $500 deposit was refundable up until they needed to pull permits. I paid the deposit and it was through a different company. What? waited for the inspection and nothing. After several weeks Chase said he was laid off. I was put in contact with Sam. We'll call him full of s*it Sam. Said I needed a new roof and the agreement said there was no refund for the deposit, conflicting Chase. He agreed they would review the recorded call and a manager would contact me. I've tried repeatedly to contact them again and have been officially brushed off and never received anything. No refund or call back.. Also, Chase and I responded on calls and text on a cell phone. Was that recorded?? They push you and tell you whatever they can to get that deposit and then Push you for a new roof and if you try to push back, they're gone With your money.

I wanted to post a quick follow-up to my earlier review. After I shared my concerns about the…read morenon-disparagement clause in the contract, I got a call from Solar Optimum's Director of Sales. He was professional and respectful, and took the time to explain their side of the clause. They're not trying to silence honest feedback across the board -- they're asking for 45 days to fix any issue before someone goes public with a negative review. I appreciate the clarification, but this is still an effort to silence consumer's right to free speech, which is something I take very seriously. I work with several brands that compete in various marketplaces, and this is a tactic I would never endorse. The clause, as written, sends the wrong message. It's written in very strong legal language, and yes, it absolutely reads like a threat. Telling a customer that their warranty could be voided over a "disparaging" comment -- even one that's truthful -- feels more like protecting the brand at the expense of the customer's rights. If a company's service is great and they handle problems with integrity, their customers won't feel the need to "disparage" them in the first place. To be clear, I otherwise had a good experience with Solar Optimum during the proposal stage, but ultimately decided not to sign due to what I consider to be a big red flag. I have no reason to believe that the positive reviews here are not genuine. I just have to assume that part of the reason they seem to out-index the rest of the industry is due to this type of tactic. I don't have a crystal ball - but the solar industry seems to be littered with companies who deal in deceptive practices, so if you want to be the "good guy", then you should have confidence that your customers will advocate for you. This isn't personal -- it's a broader concern about consumer rights. If you're thinking about signing with any solar company (not just this one), read the contract carefully, ask questions, and make sure your voice doesn't come with fine print attached.

I was then told that the wait would be about 30 minutes. When I went to pick up my order, I noticed that the customer immediately before me received chocolate ice cream. Since I had been told there was no chocolate available, I asked why that customer was able to receive chocolate ice cream. I then requested to change 5 of my vanilla ice creams back to chocolate. The manager on duty came over and told me that I would have to wait another hour if I wanted chocolate. This was very frustrating because the customer right before me had just received chocolate ice cream. I did not understand why the same product was suddenly available for another customer but not for me. To avoid waiting another hour, I agreed to keep my order as vanilla. However, after receiving the order, I found that only the first two vanilla ice creams had the proper texture. The remaining ice creams were extremely watery and melted, and they did not resemble properly prepared ice cream. I informed the staff that the product quality was unacceptable and that I did not want them. I was told that I could receive a refund. What concerned me even more was that I overheard the manager telling another employee to take the returned ice creams back and that they could be given to someone else for free. If that is what happened, I believe it raises serious food quality and food safety concerns. Products that have already been handed to one customer and then returned should not be redistributed to other customers. I have been a Sam's Club member and expect better customer service and higher food quality standards than what I experienced.

We usually go to Regal theatres in Henderson, but the movie we wanted to see (Epic: Elvis Presley in Concert) was no longer playing the day we wanted to see it in Henderson so we decided to make the drive to Aliante to see the movie. Here was our experience: 1) The butterfingers we bought in a box were expired. After eating one of them it tasted old. I looked for the expiration date and it had expired last month 2/2026. My Husband and I are not really ones to complain about food items so we just threw them away and let it go. 2) Right when the initial commercials started at theatre #11 for the Elvis movie, there was only sound, no picture as if they forgot to turn on the projector. After 5 minutes I went to let the lady who checks the tickets for the movies and she told me she will let the manager know but to give it 10-15 minutes (during previews) and if still no picture to go back out there and let them know. I asked her if THEY can send someone to check back in 5 minutes themselves instead of me having to make that long walk a 2nd time. She then said she will let the manager know. As I was walking back to the theatre I saw another person who came out to complain 2 more times. After 5 minutes of being in my seat my husband saw the manager come in to verify there was no screen only sound. Then after another 5 minutes the screen came on. No apology, no nothing. I remember back in the day ushers would come and ensure the movie started okay and everything was okay. I guess that is no longer a thing :( 3) The womens restroom right between the theatres was being closed off right as the movie was starting and still closed after the movie ended. That means the only available restroom was in the lobby! That is a very long walk and opportunity to miss a lot of the movie. In addition to that, as we left the theatre there was a foul sewer smell coming from the restooms between the theatres. We have never encountered an experience like this at any other Regal theatre. We were so very disappointed especially making the drive across town for this. The only positive thing we can say is that the two ladies at the concession stand were very nice and other than the butterfingers, the rest of the food was good.

My little kept getting folded into the seat. I had to put my bag of blankets and purse behind him so the seat doesn't fold. It was def nice being the only ones in the theater but also a little eerie. Also, I'm not sure why I had to pay $4 to use a free movie voucher.
