DONT TRUST THE REWARDS SYSTEM!!! Caveat: this was my family's favorite theater. So much so, we'd drive almost an hour to view movies here. Things we loved: 1. My wife loved the cleanliness (restrooms, lobby, and the manual popcorn dispenser). 2. Seats are outstanding, very comfortable. Are issue was/ is with the rewards system integration. The switch from their "Elevate Rewards" app to the Elevate app resulted in the loss of about $630 worth of movie ticket purchases over 2 1/2 years bc of lack of physical receipts (all my purchases were in app). After discussing with in location management as well as a customer service number, I was told that although they could see the movie purchases, no reward was offered for all my purchases before the app switch because of essentially a clerical error. Then they offered free popcorn!!! At 10 points/ $1 spent, that's 6300 points lost... it's extremely disappointing. The worst part is genuinely feeling not listened to. read more

Went with a group of friends and we hit the bar first, the drinks were good but it was about $17 on average for a cocktail served in a regular glass. We went for the Tuesday $5 movies and bowling. The movie theatre was great and loved how they had a popcorn dispenser, signed up for the free rewards and they gave us a free popcorn. The movie theatre also had reclining seats which was great. We ended the night with bowling. Super fun and cheap on Tuesday. Our lane was a little broken and they weren't able to put the bumpers down. The score kept messing up and would give us free strikes or extra points randomly or forget to give people points which was an easy fix to manually put our scores in . Overall it was super fun but would recommend following up on some mechanical issues also buying the drinks during happy hour. read more

I stopped by last week and rented a whole lane just for myself. I figured I'd fly solo and enjoy the time--but the employees completely blew me away. Instead of just letting me bowl alone, Kaylee, Joey, and Ms. Carol came over, chatted with me, and made the entire experience unforgettable. Took care of the 'lonely man' Genuine people. Super friendly. Just plain cool. These three made me feel like part of the crew, and their hospitality is the reason I'll be back. They all deserve raises--seriously. That kind of customer service is rare. Even management was awesome--laid-back but professional, clearly running a tight and welcoming ship. Recently went to see Avatar at Evo. We typically go to Santikos because we like the rewards program. However; we purchased tickets for Christmas at Evo since they first started selling them before Santikos. We were impressed with the size and quality of the screen. We also liked how Evo has a QR code at your seat which allows you to order online and someone will bring it out to you. Which is very convenient because normally my wife and I are playing rock, paper, scissors to see who is getting the refills. We went again this past week to Evo and realized that we will probably start coming here more often, it is much more enjoyable to be able to not miss any parts of the movie. read more

I am wondering why the overall reviews for this location are so low My family and I just went to this location to watch the new Lilo & Stitch movie and had a good experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the overall feel of the theatre we were in was clean. We did notice some wear and tear on the furniture in the common areas, as well as the paint on the walls. The only other thing I would add is that the popcorn was hit or miss which is causing this review to go to a 4-star because let's be honest popcorn at the movies goes together like peanut butter and jelly( unless you're allergic than insert whatever butter works best for you) that being said the first bowl of popcorn was perfect and we downed it as fast as Skywalker flew his pod racer at Tatooine....the second bowl was so salty I couldn't eat more than a few handfuls. Great chairs and comfortable atmosphere overall. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to have, especially if you take advantage of their deal days! read more

The family has enjoyed EVO since it opened before the pandemic. It was a great place to beat the heat enjoy a movie, place games at the arcade, do a round of bowling, and grab some grub. Currently, it is a well-used entertainment spot and the newness is gone, but still a great place to spend a couple of hours either as a family or meeting with friends. Sometimes with new movie releases, they do special drinks or meals. Typical with movies theater the floor is sticky. The restrooms are not spotless but plenty available. The seats recline which is comfortable. The best part is being able to order from your seat. If you go to the movie with kids, it can be chaotic to order and carry things back to your seat. Now ordering is a breeze. The menu is online, there is a scan code when entering the theater. We buy our tickets online and pick our seats beforehand but they have a walk-in and pay option as well. Although you can order at your seat, it's best to order everything in the first round. If you need anything else it can a while or be forgotten. If you go to a late movie, the theaters are always hot for some reason. The arcade is tired. It was great when it first opened but now many of the games are broken and unusable. The prizes always require ALOT of tickets, but that is typical with these types of places. They have low-ticket items, mostly candy, so the kids can at least walk away with something. The bowling alley is average. We enjoyed bowling as a family and ordering food. There is also an outdoor area to kick your feet up. In the summer it's too hot to hang outside, but during the fall and early spring, it is pleasant. The area faces the parking lot. It can get crowded so depends on when you go if you will hit a large wave of people. read more

I love EVO. They may be on the pricier side for food and drinks but the experience is totally worth it. Also the price of a movie is a no brainer. Still an inexpensive experience. Super fun date night alone or with others. You can see a movie, bowl, drink, and play games. The chicken tenders tossed in Honey BBQ is a must eat. Then you can get popcorn yourself and put all the butter your heart desires. The workers are kind and I have not had a bad experience. Clean environment and a fun place to go. I do think that you all should be patient with the workers. They are working in a dark and quiet environment so if something isn't right when your watching the movie. Be kind and as nicely to get things right. We are all making money. Go about it the way you want to be spoken too. They might give you a free cookie. read more

This is the 3rd movie I've watched in this theater. I've sat in both regular seating and the "premium dine in duo recliners." On the bright side you have wait service, a popcorn machine located conveniently next to the concession stand that's self serve, the Evo also provides bowling and arcade games making it a good spot for a date night or kids. The theater itself has comfy seats and quality sound. Cons, the theater is a bit more expensive however, movie theaters across the SA area are geting more expensive. read more

I have not been here in years and now I remember why. The food is very low quality . We a burger with fries and a chicken, tender meal and three drinks. The food came out lukewarm at best. It was freezing in the theater also freezing outside so they should have had some type of heat blowing. On top of that, my mom didn't get the nachos she ordered, my brother's pizza was cold, they didn't bring him ranch he ordered and also his blue light for a refill was gone unseen HAHA. Also I didn't even get a chance to order because the serve immediately dashed out as soon as my brother ordered, uhhh... The movie in particular we saw was 3 hours long (Babylon)...soooo the fact that a single server did not enter for the entire movie other than to take orders, deliver food and collect checks is pretty sketchy. This review is for the bowling alley and arcade, we didn't go to the cinema. We stopped by EVO with my family to take my nieces bowling. Overall it was okay. We went on a Saturday early in the afternoon and it was still quite busy. The parking lot is big so there's enough space, but it still felt quite cramped inside. The bowling experience was not great, the ball kept getting stuck in the gutter and we were charged by time, not rounds. I didn't care for that. There was a small arcade section, but again it was too packed to really get much gameplay done, we had to wait anywhere from 10-15 minutes to play things. I don't think I'd come back except to see if the cinema is good. read more

First of all, I understand I came on a Monday at noon. Off day, not a busy time, ok. But I'm not happy at all. 1) they didn't have the awesome drink I wanted (which isn't their fault but it was a bummer because that was the main reason I chose them) and they couldn't even make a milkshake... 2) they literally have like two employees in the entire place and you have to HUNT for them. You never see them at the bar or the arcade area or the bowling counter, nothing. You have to lean over the bar and yell "hello?!" To get someone. 3) they asked for a card to put on file, ok, but I went up to the manager at the bar right after and asked "did you charge the card yet?" He said no. I said "ok, don't charge it because I want to give you a different card." I walked to the arcade area to get a different card and came back and was told yeah, they couldn't charge the card. I said, I know! Because I told him not to! So this stupid manager did exactly what I told him NOT TO DO and emptied my account. Obviously listening to your customers isn't a requirement to be a manager around here. So the first 20 minutes of the time I was supposed to be bowling I was on the phone with my bank trying to fix his mistake! Oh, and they charge $30 an hour to bowl by the way, so that's nice. But it gets better! 4) he immediately grabbed a top shelf whiskey to make my mom's drink when we told him not to! 5) and charged me $17 for a MUDSLIDE! Are you kidding me?! Honestly, I could keep going about the condition of the bowling lanes and service, but I'm gonna stop and say this. Go to SANTIKOS next door! Don't waste your money here. The screens and sound systems are great, the recliners are super comfy, but that applies to a lot of theaters these days- including one that's just across the street from this one. That pretty much wraps up everything positive I have to say about this location. I'd like to rate the food but I'm feeling really discouraged after multiple visits where I'd looked forward to dining. There were two occasions where I ordered food and it took forever to come out, even in a particularly empty screening. Even the times when I wasn't dining, the staff just trudges around the theater without any sense of discretion, its so distracting. My most recent experience was the worst, my boyfriend purchased the 'Evo Date Night' package for a Valentine's outing. For $50 you received a bottle of house wine or champagne, one appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert (tickets sold separately.) We decided on catching a spooky movie that came out that weekend and asked out waitress for some clarification on what qualified as an app and if the entrees applied towards personal pizzas, etc. She wasn't really sure and just asked that we order 'within reason.' That's fine, we're not trying to take advantage. We started our order with the champagne and fried mushrooms while we looked at the rest of the menu. She returned a few minutes later and we put in an order for a pizza, order of tacos, and a cheesecake. I had asked if we could order the dessert and have them hold it til we'd gotten our entrees and she assured me, yes. Now what came out was an order of fried pickles, when they were dropped off our waitress asked if we'd gotten our champagne and we told her 'No.' Turns out it was delivered to the wrong people. A few minutes after that our bottle came out and we told the waitress we received the wrong app (something we didn't immediately notice due to the low lighting.) She scooped it up and came back shortly with -cold- fried mushrooms and the cheesecake. I was already getting a little irritated so I just set the cheesecake to the edge of my table and tried to resist picking at it til the food came out buuuut our food never came out. We asked two waitresses a total of 3 times throughout the movie if they could check on our entrees and they never turned up. Near the end of the movie, we were presented with a bill for the full amount of everything ordered plus doubled entrees even though we'd already turned over our certificates for the date night deal. Each time a waitress came over was during a pretty intense portion of the movie and the one that tried to charge us was equally exasperated and told us we'd just have to find a manager once the movie was over. When we found one (instead of one maybe getting paged and meeting us somewhere?) he at first just tried to assure us 'oh its okay, we don't have to charge you again' and to us it was like duh, we're not even worried about that, we're upset that we didn't get any food lol. He tried to compensate us with a promise of two entrees on another visit. I've never been one to hassle folks in hospitality/food industries but I really had to tell him "We missed huge portions of the movies trying to clear things up with the waitresses and now its 9PM on Valentine's day and we don't have a reservation anywhere else." He gave us certificates for do-overs on everything except the bottle but I'm still too weary to consider going back and repeating the fiasco. If you're just going for a movie and don't mind the distraction of wait-staff pacing back and forth, this might be the place for you. For anything else, I'd say try the neighboring theater. read more
