Movies are more enjoyable at Cinemark now as the theater offers the great Dbox experience with quality sound and 4D effects. Even standard theaters, sound quality is great. Love the spacious, comfortable and reclinable seats. Concession stand offers a great variety of snacks, drinks and food for order. I haven't been to this theater in years. I came in on Friday for a private screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2. Going in was super easy, all you need was a QR code that they scan at the entrance. The concession stand is beautiful displayed. Where you can get almost whatever you yourself. The soft drinks, icee and popcorn can be asked for at the register. I tried the nachos, which were delicious. I love how they also have wrapped jalapeños to add to the nachos. To drink, I had the a blue raspberry icee, which is always a hit. The auditorium chairs were new, spacious and very comfortable. You can recline as much as you want for the movie. I also loved how this theater has the Egypt theme and you can see mummies throughout. It's also very clean. You can tell it was just remodeled. I would absolutely return to this theater to watch another movie. read more

This place has been around for years. Haven't been since it was called Muvico. The Egyptian theme is fun and there's lot of parking. There are also a few restaurants to try out in walking distance. I went on a Memorial Day weekend but on Friday earlier in the day and it wasn't too crowded. They have concession stands but I noticed that the smaller one didn't have anyone working. The seats do recline but they are a bit shorter than AMC's. To access the seating for a regular movies there were a lot of stairs. There was a row of accessible seating but it seemed a bit close to the screen. read more

I come here to use reward but the overall cleanliness of this theater is not good. The seats and cup holders are always sticky! Food is mid and lines are always long! Recommend that you order online and pay the extra fee for tickets and order pickup to avoid. They charge for jalapeños and the same candy/chips that's one dollar or two dollars at the store are priced for five or more dollars here. read more

What. A wild. Venue. This Cinemark is from an era of crazy designed themed movie houses - and the Ancient Egyptian styling follows from the outside all the way through the theatre. Maybe worth visiting just to see? The service was a bit rougher. Only one staff member at the front desk both selling tickets and scanning slowed the entry. When I got to my theatre, my DBOX seat was not working, and that single front desk attendant was the one to help me try to fix it. Then a manager agreed to reseat me, after which I think they resold my bad seat, as managers and guests were trying to get it to work after the movie started, distracting from the film. I don't live in the area so unlikely to end up back there, but it was just in need of some TLC to get back to Cinemark standard. read more

We haven't been here in years!! We came to see the 35th Anniversary of TMNT movie. Which brought back a lot of memories when I saw it as a kid. Location is cool as always with the Egyptian feel to it. They did remodel the inside which was terrific to see. Everything was clean and organized. Weekends parking is horrible but the matinees are the best time for any show and with a discount rate. They have a liquor bar and an arcade in the lobby. The first thing I do is buy a cola icee then head to the theatre and always reserve an end row seat. Watched the new Ballerina - John Wick film and it was action packed with extremely comfy recliner seats. I bring in blankets or thick hoodie since it's very cold in the theaters. read more

The purchase area outside I believe is closed so tickets are purchased inside or scanned inside if purchased online. The concession are was fully stocked and ready to go! The seats in our theater the leather is peeling away, but they were very comfortable and loved to be able to recline & relax. This establishment was very clean and organized. This movie theater with 24 screens located in West Davie has great comfortable recliner stadium seating. Not all theaters offer those seats. They have a ticket counter and kiosks available for tickets when you walk in. I saw a matinee and the ticket price was $9.36, less expensive than other theaters. The concession stand is huge with items available for sale while standing in line. They also have an arcade. It's nice to see a movie on the big screen. I had a positive experience. read more

What a unique movie theater! It is fully decked out in Egyptian-style architecture, statues, and decor from top to bottom. The space is huge with an inviting concession stand and 24 theaters including XD. My friend and I went to see a matinée showing on a Monday, so the theater was not busy at all. My biggest complaint is that our seats were kind of falling apart, with the upholstery ripped and the foam underneath coming out. It could definitely use some upgraded seating. The women's bathroom was also not super clean. However, the movie sound and quality was fine! read more

Incredible Beekeeper movie with Jason Statham with insane action and dolby sound for $10. Pick your seats for the ten o' clock movie - empty and love it. I recommend eating big before the movie or you will spend $15 for popcorn and a soft drink. They do have an arcade at the entrance. Very cool outside and inside decor with clean bathrooms. This Cinemark was the old Movico location in Davie still with great electric reclining seats. Great action packed movie with Jason's funny one liners. I recommend this location. read more

have never traveled 50 minutes to see a movie, but we wanted to experience Lilo & Stitch in DBOX. This was our first time at this Cinemark location in nearly a decade, and all I can say is: wow. WOW--because this place is in a state of complete disrepair. The box office attendant was working alone, juggling three tasks at once: selling tickets, assisting a customer at a kiosk (only one was operating), and scanning mobile tickets. This is completely unacceptable. One person should not be handling three positions simultaneously. Where was the manager or supervisor? The concession stand wasn't any better. One or two employees should not have to handle a mob of 25-30 people. Again, where was the manager or supervisor? The menu boards are obnoxiously far away from the queue making it nearly impossible to read them. The stressed workers shouted for the next customer, quickly took orders, and turned away without so much as a smile or clear instruction. I was asked upfront, "Cash or card?"--which felt oddly aggressive and disjointed. Considering I am a movie club member. I have never been asked that before especially not before ordering. After mumbling my total, the employee walked off before I could even finish speaking, forcing me to call him back. I asked to layer the topping on my popcorn, which was met with an immediate eye roll. Why there isn't a dispenser or squeeze bottle behind the counter is baffling. Instead, I was handed a half-filled bucket and told to go add the topping myself, then return to have it topped off. Inconvenient, but fine--until we realized all the topping stations were completely nonfunctional and looked ransacked. The one near the main counter looked like it had been ripped out years earlier, and the four dispensers behind (or technically in front of) the stand were all "Out of Order." One employee was "fixing" one but told us to go to a satellite concession stand further down the hall, "I think that one is working." He said. What was supposed to be a typical snack purchase turned into a full-blown game show obstacle course through the desert. Considering the theater's ancient-ruins theme, it felt strangely on brand. Once we returned for the popcorn top-off, the same cashier acted like we were strangers. Asked to see my receipt and it wasn't until I reminded him that he crumped it up and tossed it that he remembered. It took more than 25 minutes to get to our seats. (Ordering ahead didn't work out well for other guests either, as we overheard they never received their order and had to go to the concession stand to pick it up.) Finding our auditorium was straightforward, but we were completely on our own. No one was around to assist, guide, or even tell us to enjoy the show. Continuing the "ruins" theme, the carpets were grimy, many lightbulbs were burnt out, the doors greasy, and the seats in dismal shape. The DBOX seats--what we came for--were a massive disappointment. Mine wouldn't stay reclined. My partner's footrest was broken and kept collapsing. Worse, the seats were torn, tattered, and looked downright filthy. There was popcorn in our seats and a sticky soda spill on the floor--at the first showing of the day. That's not just gross; it's unacceptable and means our auditors had not been cleaned from the night before or longer. Overall, this was not a "Cinemark Experience" and considering the exorbitant cost of DBOX seats, the overall condition of the theater, and the less-than-friendly or welcoming attitude of the undoubtedly overworked employees, I'm never willingly returning to this location until I can confirm conditions have improved. read more

Bad! Went to see karate kid in June 2025. First stop was to the main concession stand. Only one person working the register. They put the hot dogs n nachos in the aisle for u to grab yourself. I got the nachos. When I finally got to the register, I asked for jalapeños. The girl comes back and says that all the jalapeños are rotten. So I asked for a hotdog because I can see some freshly roasting behind her. She proceeds to leave the register to go get me one from the aisle. I get all the way to my seat and open the hotdog and the bread was so wet and soggy from being wrapped up in the steam warming tray that it was inedible. I leave my seat, walk back to the concession stand show the girl the soggy hot dog ask her if I can have one of the ones that are roasting and she said she couldn't give that to me because they were for a party that was coming in. However, she was nice enough to offer to bring me one to my seat. She brings me the hot dog after about 15 minutes and it was OK. Not good but ok. I spent almost $50 on a bad hotdog 2 small popcorns and three drinks! Outrageous. Next we had three seats and neither of them were working to recline. I had to watch the entire movie uncomfortable. When the movie was over, I went down to customer service in the front and was told that the next time I come back to tell someone that the seat isn't working. He says that it was just unplugged. How was I supposed to know that? Why is it unplugged? I asked for some sort of compensation and he refused. I haven't been to this theater in years. I wasn't expecting the bad service as it never used to be this way. I'll stick to going to IPIC. read more

Had 1 bad experience when buying popcorn. The girl behind the counter literally put 2 inches of butter, when I asked for "a little more"! I called the manager to advise. Strangely he knew exactly who I was speaking about without knowing her name. Recently disappointed when I had difficulty purchasing my ticket though TMobile Tuesday offer & the girl at the customer service desk had no idea what to do & acted as if she could "care less" to help me! Had to ask for the manager. Which caused a delay getting into the movie. Also noticed a sign up stating "no refills" for popcorn or beverages! read more

Since I feel a movie theaters are dying due to lack of quality and quantity of movies coming out. It seems like most theaters do not care anymore. The Cinemark by far is the best in broward county in my opinion. I feel like they do a good job overall keeping it up, especially compared to regal and AMC. It's the only theater I will go to when I'm going to watch a movie. Even the new theater in Dania Beach is not as good as the Cinemark in Davie. I understand they have opportunities just like the most places, but overall it's still my family's favorite. read more

I haven't been to this location in years. First of all upon entry, we tried to bring in a closed mug with coffee since it was breakfast time, and this was the only theater playing movies this early. We were happy about the early showings, however, the girl checking tickets said we weren't able to bring it in, which was frustrating. Especially because they don't sell coffee as one of the concessions. Also, we were buying drinks and popcorn. Secondly, it was freezing in this movie theater. I frequent movies and I've never been to a theater that was this cold, it was uncomfortably frigid. When we were leaving, we heard other couples complaining about the temperature as well. Thirdly we lifted up the arm rest and it was covered in popcorn underneath. I did like the comfort of the reclining seats and the movie sound was adequate. Just like when I was a teen. This place has been kept nicely. I saw TMNT from 1990. Everything was clean & all the Egyptian decor is still looking like it did when I was a teen. I remember playing pac-man & cruise'n in the arcade. Service from the ticket desk was excellent as well. Zero complaints. read more

The chairs in the theaters make way to much noise when moving. I've been to other theaters where it doesn't make so much noise. But other than that everything was good. read more

This theater is in TRASH condition for their reclining chairs in the theater rooms, especially theater #20. I was so glad that I had some antibacterial wipes in my purse to sanitize their very worn-out and dirty recliners. That is purely the reason for the 3 stars because the service was great from check-in to food and drink counter service. They were all 5 stars, and for the most part, the rest of the theater was clean, but this place is in dire need of an overhaul in furniture. read more

I have only been here a handful of times in the last few years but I have to say, they have really done some nice upgrades and the place seems to be cleaner than ever. This is a good thing for sure with everything going on right now! Everything is cashless so if you come and have cash you are going to hit a brick wall and not be able to buy anything. Good thing is you are able to use apple or android pay with your phone. The staff is friendly and all wearing masks, which is great because if my food is being handled in the open, I like the "safety" of seeing someone wearing a mask while being very close to the popcorn I am going to be eating. Prices are generic movie theater prices and my advice is just bring in candy from outside because the candy goes upwards of roughly FIVE dollars for the same box you can buy at CVS or Walgreens. They also have mobile ordering ahead of time if you buy tickets through their app, and you don't need to wait in line to pick your stuff up, you just walk up to the racks they have, grab your food which is in a bag and taped shut, and walk to your theater. It was weird the first time but I love it so much! read more

This movie theater has it up and down. The projection and sound are good so you can really understand the movie theater. I think really the only problem is that the building is now starting to fall apart. I see the signs on the outside somewhat broken, and the seats in most of the theater houses are being ripped and torn apart. I think if they could fix all these issues negative just as popular as it was back in like 2015. read more

Leaving behind old habits is hard, like going to the movie theater. I recently stopped by this location recently to go to the counter and purchase some promotional items. Recently, because of COVID, many theaters are not running, but Cinemark was still showing some movies. They had been selling some merchandise exclusive to Cinemark for the WW84 movie and being a comic book nerd myself, I had to pick up a few items. Now, I did not see the movie while I was there, but I did pick up the items from the concession stand, and maybe a popcorn and a drink too. I will say, every associate I met with at this location was nothing but friendly and helpful. You could tell they were a bit frazzled with all of the people that were there, to be honest I was surprised so many were there, but they handled it with ease. One day I'll be back to the movies soon. read more

Hello, my friends and I came to watch Hamilton as we are all huge fans and we experienced a very hostile experience in the theater after being told to "Shut up" very loudly and harshly because we were quietly singing along (not belting screaming) after the beginning credits were over which Lin Manuel Miranda and the rest of the cast very clearly advertised this experience as something to be sang along with so it needs to be more clearly stated that people will sing along as it's advertised so another hostile experience happens again. read more

Cinemark was a great place to see the movie we wanted to see with my group. Met at 6:15 p.m. but parking was not readily available. Stated another way, their lot was packed already. As far as movie theaters go this is very much Top-Tier with quality concessions to me. Besides the packed parking situation, the only thing that could have been better would have been paper towels better stocked in ladies' restroom. Used to come here years ago when I believe it was (then) known as a muvico theater. This is a Davie, FL location just south of the Weston/Royal Palm Blvd. exit along I-75. 4 stars. read more

Used to be muvico back in the day but they didn't modernize like other movie theaters and I really like the way they kept its original building intact. Hello, I would like to leave a review of the Cinemark 24 on Sheridan Street. Something is happening with that movie theater. It's just going downhill. This is not the first time that I arrive & food is not ready. In fact, multiple times throughout the year and food is not ready. 1)Today, for example, my movie Superman started at 12:10 PM today. When my father and I arrived at 11:50 AM, food was not ready (In particular the hotdogs.) they apparently were still being "cooked." . 2) No one knew what time the bar opened. The Front Desk young man said 5 PM, the young girl giving us the popcorn said 3 PM & a young manager said 12:30 PM. 3) The bathrooms on one side of the entire building were being repaired. It is a Saturday at 12 noon. Don't you think they could repair it on a Monday or Tuesday when no one goes? 4) Finally, no one seems to care. Even the young manager didn't know how to answer me. His apologies was weak and never offered to make it right. He just shrugged his shoulders and went away. Please re-train your employees!!! It is frankly not a good experience. read more
