Just had a new HVAC system installed. there initially seemed to be no way to get a vent to a flat roofed add on. The installers Tony and Eric were able to dig into some drywall where the add on met the attic, and made it work where it didn't seem like it would. Tony was really cool and polite. Very impressed with this company! First, I had Jeff come out to my home and go through everything (in great detail) with me on why we needed a whole new AC unit. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave options and pricing and was more than happy to answer all of my questions and make himself available to chat while we considered our options and waited for the right timing. He also checked in with us every so often letting me know what scheduling was looking like for the coming week so we could schedule ourselves accordingly. Once we decided now was the time to pull the trigger, in probably the hottest week recorded in the OC, Jeff had me call Rose at the main office to see if she could fit us in ASAP. Rose listened to our story and was so kind and helpful. We spoke with her late Thursday afternoon and we were scheduled on the books for Saturday morning. Ramon and Sal were our technicians/installers and they arrived a few minutes before their scheduled arrival time (which was so nice) and saw that I was unloading groceries and offered to help me. So right off the bat I was highly impressed. They explained what they were going to do, cleaned along the way and were kind and respectful throughout the day. It was SO incredibly hot all day, so I made sure to have water, Gatorade and cooling towels in an ice chest for them to take whenever they wanted and they were very appreciative, thanking me multiple times. We recently had a new system installed and we are very happy with the service and product. Jeff gave us the estimate for the job which included removal of our old unit, relocation of the new unit, ducting upgrades, and permits. The estimate was thousands lower than two other estimates we received for similar units and service. Diego and his crew were great! Didn't waste anytime and walked the property, discussed what was needed and made sure we had proper venting units throughout our home. First off, take note that Evolution falsely claims to be BBB Accredited with an A+ rating on their website. However they are not accredited and have no BBB rating. We requested a quote from Evolution to replace our AC and furnace. Their salesman, Brian, came over to do the quote. He demonstrated some knowledge and offered very competitive prices. However, he was nosy (asking us who else we'd received quotes from) and used high-pressure sales tactics to try to get us to sign immediately. Brian greatly overstayed his welcome; he was at my house for around 50 minutes and spent about half of that time on rambling anecdotes. To Brian's credit, he answered numerous questions over email over the next couple of weeks. Although Evolution offered competitive prices, they also offered the worst labor warranty. Every other business who quoted us offers at least a 3 year labor warranty, but Evolution only offers 2 years. read more

The estimate was free, but the salesman that arrived for the quote was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. He made it sound like it was a crime to get other quotes and that he was the cheapest choice in town (which he was not). Lots of pressure from him to close the deal fast like his life depended on it when we only had a handful of quotes. I am very excited to say after 12 years at our home and extensive research, we finally had a HVAC system installed. Our 20 year old furnace finally gave out. We got several bids for our furnace but Evolution gave us the best deal by far. I waited a few months before writing this review because I wanted to be sure that my new HVAC system worked as intended. Evolution did a very good job at replacing my HVAC system (outside and inside) for my 2-story condo at a very reasonable price. Jeff was responsive to schedule service quickly and offered credit financing to make the payments easier. The installation crew was professional, respectful of my home, and didn't mind me asking a lot of questions about what they were doing step-by-step. I was irritated when the brand new outside compressor unit actually broke after only a few weeks! BUT when I called Evolution (who was surprised at the equipment failure), I had no issues with them coming to replace the brand new unit at their earliest opportunity. It's now been several months, and I've had no issues with my new system. The only issue I had was with the new Nest thermostat that was installed as part of my system, which was a bit of a learning curve, but that's more on Google than Evolution. read more

He was very professional and knew how to approach the set up for my house. They use American Standard equipment which is ranked as the best (I went with a Silver 15 heat-pump and P series variable speed air handler). I am very happy with their work as they were able to install the heat pump air handler in the attic which most weren't able to do. Everything from start to finish took two days! There is something wrong these guys have done, right from the very first installation of new ducts in attic, and even after two patchwork repair the original problem is not fixed. The attic duct brings dust in the house, meaning ducts are leaking and collecting dust. The leaky duct mean we we are wasting lots of energy for warming and cooling attic. read more

We had a quite a few HVAC companies doing the estimates and one of them was Evolution heating and air. Diego, from the first moment was friendly, honest and explanied the whole process , he took us step by step, and explained how everything will be done. From removing the old units, and replacing everything with brand new parts, and then installing the brand new HVAC system with super friendly, very well trained and proffesional crew from Evolution. They got the whole job done in less than 8hrs, and left our house pretty much clean and without any mess for such a big job done. (Changing the ducting in the attic, enlarging the vents in garage door, removing the old units and replacing with new, etc). Since the outdoor unit was little bit bigger for our pathway and could not be manually transfered to our backyard, Diego made sure the crane was there within an hour, and lift the AC unit above the house, in a safely manner. All that without any extra charge, even some of the companies would definetly look up any reasons to just add some fees. Rose made sure all the paperwork and permits were done in timelly manner, excelent customer service, family/friendly oriented i would say. In overall, we would be more than happy to recommend Evolution heating and air company, because they made this process to be as easy as possible for us. Thought I had a problem with a/c unit when water was draining out of my primary and secondary drains. I first called another company to inspect my system. They came out the following day, inspected my system concluded I had a blockage in my primary causing water to go out the secondary and there was no way to unblock it because the unit was 17 years ago. The solution was I needed a new system which was $12000-15000. I then called Evolion a/c who sent out Diego to inspect the system. Long story short he found no blockage in the primary drain. When water came out both drains it was only when it was extremely hot and humid and that was normal. The main issue he found was the cap on the top of the inspection drain. He explained they no longer put a cap on the vertical inspection pipe. After removing it water started flowing at a much higher rate out the primary Drain. Have not seen water come out the secondary drain since. Bottom line is this guy is honest. Said I should get at least 25 years out of my Train unit which is tier three and top of the line. I highly recommend this company. Diego was very knowledgable and honest. I will use this company and refer them to friends and family. read more

I'd first like to give a quick glimpse into this company with an anecdote shared with me by my husband. After arriving right on time for the installation of our brand new full HVAC system and working non-stop, my husband ordered pizzas for the crew. He had forgotten, however, that we didn't have any paper plates so he made available to them our regular dinner plates. After they ate and were cleaning up to get back to work, my husband found one of the the crew members in our kitchen washing the plates. My husband told him he did not need to do that but the gentleman would not be dissuaded. He washed and dried every single item they used and left them on our counter to be put away.
