We are so impressed with the responsiveness and the ability to listen to customers needs. Yesterday we called and Anna was able to set a appointment to come and see us at 8:30 next day. Our heater stopped working in Long Beach. The temperature in the house was 59 degrees, and we were freezing inside. The representative Jacob came to evaluate and determine why the heater would not turn on. He determined there were a lot of problems with a 41 year old heater. He explained he could fix the heater but he explained we would spend more money trying to fix other things because the system was so old. We agreed and decided to buy another heater. Jacob told us they could install the following day, so that meant we would be cold again tonight. Today Anna called and asked if we wanted to have them install today at 3:30! We were so happy to hear their crew had finished a job and was able to install our heater a day earlier than expected. I'm an electrician by trade so I don't really work on AC units much, but I thought to give this company a try. They sold us on a capacitor that was maybe valued at $50 and charged $500. Then tried to charge a couple hundred more to clean the AC unit. Literally just to take leaves and dust off. Then tried saying we needed a new AC unit for $10,000-$15,000. We hired another company to come out and assess their findings... Turns out everything was fine. I'm sure they have helped some people, but they have also taken advantage of so many others. I scheduled a maintenance for my home furnace, which was located in my attic and got Jakob as my tech and another tech( didn't get his name) . And they were great guys. They arrive exactly on time and were informative and quick and fast. After the service maintenance, they provided me a checklist of all the things they did so I am kept up to date and also had some recommendations for the next maintenance that i will surely like them to do. My AC unit was not working after the natural gas was restored to my condo community and condo unit after having no gas for the last few months of summer 2023 due to old faulty gas pipes that needed to be completely replaced. The SoCal Gas Company techs went to inspect the furnace and other natural gas-powered appliances before restoring natural gas, but they didn't communicate with me the state of my furnace. 3 weeks later, I couldn't handle the heat anymore, so I did what I always do when I need help with maintaining my condo, I hoped on Yelp and searched for local HVAC companies. I called OMNI on a Saturday afternoon, and Anna I think, was the one who answered the call. She answered the call right away and scheduled me in for Monday morning. Robert and Armstrong were the techs who arrived on Monday on time at 8:30 am with dark blue boot covers. They were quick to diagnose the problem and gave me a proposal to fix and do future preventative maintenance on my HVAC system. The indoor universal blower motor failed due to lack of maintenance, Robert and Armstrong replaced it with a new one. Robert suggested to go to the furnace unit with him so that he could explain to me what he was doing, and so that I could learn how to do the maintenance on it to save myself some money, who does that nowadays!! Robert educated me on how lack of maintenance on the furnace can lead to fatal carbon monoxide poisoning and is a potential fire hazard. Robert and Armstrong finished the job on my HVAC unit in 2 hours. After they finished the job on my HVAC unit, both of the guys cleaned up the area that they worked on and left it better than when they came. See you in a few months Omni for the summer maintenance on the condenser ac unit on the roof. Jakob at Omni was great. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Omni was called out to do a Bi-Annual maintenance on by heater. I just recently hired them for this purpose. Jakob found that when the HVAC was originally installed they failed to install two very important safety shut off valves and gas filter. He was able to remedy this and in a very short time the maintenance and repairs were done. I feel much safer using our HVAC now. Twice in the last two years I have had two different companies out to inspect the HVAC. Neither company took the time to inspect as thoroughly as Omni. Absolutely phenomenal response time with this company ! I called at 8:10ish am on a Thursday morning because my mini split was leaking and I didn't want it to cause any water damage. Dealing with these people has been a disaster. We paid $25,000 for a new HVAC system that barely does the job. Before purchasing, we were quite explicit about the areas of the house that needed more air flow. The air flow to these rooms is still insufficient. The owners have shown no interest in fixing the problem. It took over a month to even get one of them on the phone. Zach (one of the owners) finally came out to examine the system and his only proposed solution was to charge us thousands of more dollars for an addition mini split unit. The job they were paid to do still isn't done and they charged us another $100 just to come look at it. They've had to come back over 6 times because bad airflow is not even the only problem. Sometimes the unit just doesn't even turn on. They've worked on this issue several times and it still isn't fixed. Dealing with Omni Air has been a disaster from top to bottom. Save yourself a bunch of money, time, and grief by not purchasing their services. We had fewer issues with our 20 year old half broken AC unit that Omni Air replaced. Edit: In response to the comment from Anna F., this is not a maintenance problem. The filter has been replaced several times since installation. One of these times was by an Omni Air employee. Air flow is still insufficient with a brand new filter. I notice you have no response to the fact that the unit routinely fails to turn on. You can make things right by delivering the results you promised without trying to upsell us. read more

Recommended replacing unit for $7,500. Found HVAC contractor who installed my AC 4 years ago. Checked unit. Pressure switch fine, mixing box fine, needed new induction pump. Installed new pump for $350. Omni said mixing box bad because of yellow in gas flame. My contractor said this was a favorite of scammers. Just need to clean jets. My heater is ten years old. My contractor said they usually last 15 years Checked Amazon. You can buy heater at retail for about $1900 plus installation. Contractor can buy at wholesale. My A/C started to smell recently so I used Yelp's quote bot to contact A/C contractors. Omni was the first to reach out. The owner Rashad and Tim came out to diagnose the problem as "dirty sock syndrome" and gave me a few options to clean it and recommended to install an ionizer to prevent future problems down the line. I went with the most comprehensive package. I checked out another contractor which quoted me cheaper but ultimately decided on Omni. Tim, Richard, and Mustafa arrived on time and got straight to work: one cleaning the registers, another on the roof to clean the condenser, and third to clean out the evaporator coils, flush/fix the drainage line, and install the ionizer. The team was very professional and courteous. They worked quickly, cleaned up afterwards, and even looked at my dryer vents at no cost when I asked if they did dryer vent cleaning. They said the project would take 6 hours, they were out in 5. And most importantly, my A/C no longer has the horrible smell. Shout out to Rashad, Tim, Richard, and Mustafa on a job well done.
