I recently had excellent PT care from Jenna, after I developed severe pain in my upper leg and foot. My doctor did not know the cause of the pain but prescribed PT to see if it would help. I had biweekly appointments with Jenna for over a month, during which she had me do a variety of exercises at the facility and at home. She also performed deep massages which seemed to be very effective. In addition to being a very skilled therapist, she was always very positive, patient and fun to work with. Need a chiropractor? Like, desperately? Dr. Dave (David Birznieks) is a WIZARD. He's that rare Dr you find that early in, you know just knows his stuff.. 4 days ago, my lower back went out. The bad kind that kept getting progressively worse. I couldn't stand up straight or walk without being slumped over, with an annoying constant dull aching pain. A wrong move or even laughing sent electric shock waves -like that. I was MISERABLE. Today, I got a reference from a friend to see Dr. Dave @ The Wellness Bank up the street. 1st, this guy really cares -a warm people-person (Imagine how much better a any #1 robot doctor wld be if he/she was also kind.). Next, he's an athlete himself and works on the pros, meaning, he sees some of the most extreme cases. It feels like he treats it like a puzzle he's excited to reassemble. He saw me same day (I don't know if I got lucky or if that is why you want a "caring" Dr.). He took the time; asked good questions, examined me, stretched, rubbed, contorted, pulled, stepped back to think, cracked left, then right, thought some more, measured my leg lengths, explained stuff as he went (not annoyingly), etc... and he did so all while listening to REO Speedwagon :) After about an hour, I actually stood up straight and walked outta there, dull pain gone...Incredible. Yes, I was given homework & warned to take it easy, to not go bull riding (his words) and to report back tmrw and we'd take it from there.. Awesome. UPDATE: It's the following morning and his work is holding. No sitting yet, but the fear of moving is definitely subsiding and pain still gone. Relief! Many hugs & thank you. GO SEE DR. These guys are great. I worked with Denise a couple of years ago to improve my recovery from a TKR (total knee replacement). Previously, I'd gone to another PT facility - which did a good job with my initial recovery. But once I was back on my feet, I needed/wanted to achieve better joint biomechanics and more advanced functions. The Wellness Bank understood my goals, and Denise customized a program that really helped. This review is for the chiropractor Dave. Been to many chiro's and he's among if not the best. Has worked on NFL players. He'll do massaging, stretching, explain muscle groups movements, and demonstrate exercises to help and cure pain and imbalances long term- definitely a wholistic approach with his treatment. Sessions are about 1 hour with the soft tissue work but he can just do adjustments in less time if that's all you want. I highly recommend him! read more

Denise Chyette at the Wellness Bank was instrumental in helping me through my twin pregnancy. My OB prescribed prenatal physical therapy to relieve worsening lower back and sciatic nerve pain, and I would literally count the days between my weekly visits with Denise! I saw her during my second and third trimesters and up until a few days before the twins were born. She began every session by assessing how I was doing and where I was most in pain, and then tailored each physical therapy session to help me target my priority areas. She guided me through every exercise, ensuring safe and proper form, and by the end of each session I was relaxed and in less pain. Denise also taught me exercises to do on my own at home, which really helped me get through the week in between our visits. I also credit the therapy regimen for my faster recovery from my delivery! On top of it all, Denise is a kind and genuine person and it was clear that she cared about me (and my babies!).
