I USED to be a loyal customer. I went to them for my paintball needs where they were on Redlands Blvd. Yesterday I called to see if they could quickly check-out my paintball guns. They told me they were incredibly busy, in the process of pushing out over 200 guns, "all hands on deck" I was told. Since it was a Tuesday in the middle of the afternoon just how busy could they be? I drove down there. There were two employees at the register, A bushy dark haired kid with black horn-rimmed glasses stood behind the gun counter, and a large red headed kid(big red) who acted like he owned the place was stuffing food down his face. I appeared to be the only customer. I walked over to the dark haired kid to inquire about my paintball guns getting looked at. He told me the paintball counter was on the on side. I went over there. There I stood for about 10 minutes. Finally I see dark haired kid walk over to the still eating (big red) and tell him, "he wants his paintball guns looked at", big red responds "we don't work on paintball guns and haven't done so for about 1 and a half years." When I disputed that and told him I had talked to the owner he told me, "well we do work on the guns but we are going to need them for about 3 weeks, we're really busy." I looked around again and yep I was still the only customer. I asked him to check out my guns to see if it might just need a quick fix. He shoved air into the ass-end of the guns and said, "they are leaking", and handed them back to me. He went back to eating and I went searching for a new, more receptive paintball store. They had far better customer service when they were in the hobby business. It appears real guns have gone to their heads. read more

Love this place been coming here for 5 years haven't gone anywhere since. Its funny i was at the shop the other day and seen a customer getting mad because an employee refused to sell them ammo, and to find out they were purchasing it for some one else, little do they know that would be considered a straw purchase and is illegal. People need to grow up and put them selfs in there place there doing there best to satisfy the customers needs. complaining about the prices of ammo isn't going to get you no were. Dont like the price go somewhere else because i promise your not going find it and later come back and buy the ammo after u bitched about the price. the majority of the retards who leave a bad review are big fat pussies and have nothing better to do, maybe read the laws instead of leaving bad reviews and actually vote when it matters. the biggest complainers are the people the ones who dont vote. I've been a regular Evolution R/C customer for over a year (a few times a month) and there has been a definite disappointing change. Now that they are selling firearms that seems to be the focus of the business and staff. It's sad when you walk in for some basic parts like nuts and o-rings and they are out, but Hobby People down the street has them. The parts wall is extremely unorganized and it takes them forever to find anything, if they do happen to have it. Because of this it takes them forever to help their customers that are waiting. What should be a 5 minute interaction ends up taking 15 - 20 minutes and with 2 or 3 customers waiting this could eat up an hour of your time just waiting to find out they don't have what you need. They also have some new staff they don't seem to have any R/C experience and they always have to stop and walk into the back and ask someone else questions. The selection and staff here are the best you will ever find. They know what they are doing as well as use the gear they sell so they have all the answers to your questions coming from experience and knowledge. I buy all my gear and ammo here as well as bring all my friends, I wouldn't shop anywhere else. They have everything you need ranging from beginner kits to advanced gear. Prices are great and they keep you up to date on what's going on in the world of the sports they sponsor by sending out emails with great deals. The shop truly cares for the community and their customers. My only regret is I'm moving to Kansas City and I know I'll never find a shop like this out there. Guess I'll need to plan trips back to Cali so we can stop in and say hey to the guys at Evolution. You guys rock, thank you for all you do. read more

Literally yelled at a customer who was trying to buy a firearm.. overheard the conversation... he was honest about his expunged felony and was wanting to purchase a firearm.... owner literally kicked him out of his store and told him he could not buy a firearm because he didn't want to tie up the gun with the thought the guy would not pass the background!! I cannot recommend this gun store to anyone. Not only do they have exorbitant prices on their firearms, but they also upcharge customers on ammo. It's clear that they are taking advantage of their customers by jacking up the prices on essential supplies needed for their weapons. This kind of shady business practice is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of integrity on the part of the store. this place will only let you take your gun test and your gun check if you buy a weapon from them. If you do not pass they will keep the money of the weapon you bought. First gun purchase and I was very happy with how it went. My sales guy Tyler was helpful, he help me install new grips and ordering some new sights for me. I was really set on a 1911, unfortunately they don't sell many. As a result the parts for 1911 are kinda slim, but it seems they will order whatever you need. read more

Very good service here. I recently bought my airsoft gun a CM16 Carbine and it is a very good gun. The workers really know what they are talking about and they were happy to answer my questions about the gun. Staff was racist and sexist the moment my girlfriend and I entered the store. The only respectful employee was the cashier.
