Our server Kayden was wonderful from the moment we sat down. She was welcoming, kind, and kept checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and cared for. Johnny and I both ordered the gyro platter (mainly because I didn't want to share LOL). We didn't realize it would come as a full platter with the meat, pita, potatoes, and toppings on the side, but that was totally on us because it does say it on the menu. We were just too excited to try the food and ordered quickly. Kayden explained that what we were originally thinking of was the gyro sandwich, and she was so sweet about it. She even apologized, which we assured her she absolutely didn't need to do because the mix-up was completely on us. Now we know for next time! Johnny also tried the avgolemono soup, and I had the Greek salad. I'm usually not a big feta cheese person, but wow... it was the perfect touch to the salad. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. You can really taste the freshness in everything, like it's made with care and simple, quality ingredients. The portions are BIG, which we loved. We definitely ended up taking food home. Next time I'm ordering extra pita bread because wow... that pita was so good. We actually didn't even make it to dessert because we were so full, but that just means next time I'll be sure to leave some space. The whole place had such a great vibe too. The staff were smiling, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and it just made the whole experience even better. As silly as it may sound, you can truly feel the love in the food and in the place itself. This is easily one of my favorite hidden gems, and we're already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.

Confession time: I crave their homemade chicken-lemon rice soup bowl. (AVGOLEMONO) and strangely their potato salad knocks my socks off. I sometimes get an extra bowl of soup which comes in a tight freezer friendly container to freeze for a future comfort meal. They add the potato salad to meals and also the village salad (Horiatiki) which is the salad with NO lettuce - chunks of tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, olives, green peppers, pepperoncini peppers, potato salad and feta cheese. I get them to hold the pepperoncini. This time the salad I got had a huge ratio of green pepper. It was still ok but I would prefer more potato salad or cucumbers instead. With all the soup and salad I like to get a little protein so I order the kids gyro platter or chicken skewer meal. Sure I could order a side of protein but the kids meal includes rice, a little salad and a drink. This location is great because they had fruit juices besides the normal fountain drinks. Most of the meals and salad come with pita bread. I wish there was an option to add a small scoop of hummus instead of the whole appetizer. I ordered and got my food to go in about 5 minutes.
