Wow. I ordered a Greek salad with shrimp, and it was one of the best salads I've ever had. Everything was fresh and my plate was overflowing. I also ordered the hummus, tasted fresh and homemade and was a perfect entrée for my salad. I was so full I couldn't enjoy all the cakes that they had on display, but next time this is a must for me. Our server was friendly and connected with as well. Inside was OK, no complaints there. Next time I'm in High Point I will visit again.

Food was delicious! Service was amazing. Our waitress was so helpful and attentive. The menu has a lot of good choices. I ordered the Mediterranean steak and cheese sub. The steak was delicious with the right amount of cheese and fresh toppings. I had a side of sweet potato waffle fries and pickles. I really enjoyed the pickles. My friend had a salad. The small salad is huge and looked delicious! She said it was good. I also had a cucumber mint mocktail. It was also amazing. I can't wait to come back. I enjoyed everything about this visit. I left stuffed and satisfied.

Back only a few months later to say that this is still some of the best food I've eaten. The first time I tried it, I was a little hesitant about the chicken shawarma because it was full of flavors I hadn't tried before in similar dishes. After going back a few more times, I have to say that this makes it stand out! I still haven't tried anything new but why mess with greatness? The hummus with pita is still amazing and the baked goods from the cooler (I love the Oreo cheesecake) should not be skipped!!

I've been meaning to try Odeh's for a while now, and I'm glad I finally did. It indisputably lives up to its hype. I went for an early dinner and was lucky to beat the crowd. We were seated immediately at a clean, spacious table. The restaurant soon filled up around us, and though I could see how popular it indeed was, the tables were well spaced and it wasn't too loud. We began with the red pepper hummus with pita bread, and it was absolutely delicious. Smooth, rich, full of flavor. The portion was generous -- more than enough for two people. We ended up ordering an additional side of pita bread to finish it off, and practically scraped the plate, it was that good. For my main, I had the Mediterranean grilled chicken sub. Like with the hummus, the portion was huge and every bite was bursting with flavor. The chicken was well seasoned and it was one of those perfectly assembled, bursting to the seams with toppings, kind of sandwiches that make you go "oh yeah, this is why people order sandwiches!" Everyone there was friendly, and our server was super attentive. The menu was also pretty expansive, so we won't be running out of things to try anytime soon. All in all, I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I know, I just reviewed Odeh's 3 months ago. But, I had to share one of their specials. I branched out last night and ordered the special, grilled grouper tacos. Oh my, it was delicious. Fish tacos at a Mediterranean restaurant sounds weird but believe me it's outstanding. My wife got the peach sangria which she loved. Our server was outstanding as usual. This is still one of my favorite places in the Triad.

Honestly can't believe it took me this long to visit Odeh's Mediterranean Kitchen. I think I may have gotten to go a few years ago but this was my first time dining in. Everything I had was amazing and would definitely order again. I started with the spanakopita. The phyllo dough on top of the spanakopita wasn't crispy but I didn't mind since the spinach and feta filling was so creamy. It would be great to be able to order a side of just creamed spinach. The gyro on pita was huge -- almost too big to hold. It was filled with tzatziki, gyro meat and topped with tomatoes and lettuce then drizzled with oil and vinegar. It was quite filling so I had some leftovers. It came with a bag of chips and you get a choice of three flavors. The bbq ones were very crunchy.

    The bill. Not bad.

Halfway from Virginia to Georgia, somewhere between courage and commitment, we realized we were not yet emotionally prepared to see my mother-in-law. So we did what any seasoned travelers would do -- we pulled into the Embassy for the evening and regrouped. Hungry? Yes. Social? Absolutely not. Grubhub became our lifeline. Odeh's Mediterranean caught my eye and, wallah, the order was placed with the confidence of people who had already decided to stay in pajamas. Forty-five minutes later -- knock. Hot appetizers. Cold Greek salad. A chicken pesto panini and a beef shawarma that smelled like someone in the kitchen actually cared. Delivery was prompt. Food was hot. Spices were not shy. For my bride, the spanakopita was the headline act. The spinach wasn't some polite suggestion tucked into phyllo -- it was a half-inch thick declaration of intent. Bold. Flavorful. Worth writing home about (though we weren't calling anyone that night). The beef was tender and properly seasoned, not drowned in sauce to hide its sins. The baba ghanoush had that smoky depth that makes you slow down and pay attention. They've officially made the favorites list. As to ambiance, I was in my Jammie's with a cocktail and not dealing with humanity, so fantastic. Well worth the wait -- and, frankly, well worth postponing family

First time here and it was delicious. Plenty of seats and bar seats. The server was very nice and knowledgeable about food. Service was great!! She recommended the wings and they were very delicious. They sauce for the wings taste like a sweet and heat bbq sauce. The kabob platters were good also. Very relax and chill vibes. Overall good quick service! So if you're in the area stop by and give it a try!!!

I don't get to High Point very often but when I get a chance, I always stop by Odeh's. Odeh's in a snapshot -- casual, friendly and flavorful. The menu is extensive but I stick to the Mediterranean cuisine, that's the real star here. Hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, spanakopita, etc Great place for a come as you are quick bite or take out and the service is friendly and efficient!

Good place to eat with friends. Food was good. I tried the kabob platter with two sides. My meat was cooked medium well. My sides were rosemary fries!!! (can you believe that) and pasta salad. It came with a white sauce that is creamy, the sauce was neutral. The meat was cooked right but the meat was seasoned too light it didnt have much flavoring. For appetizer I had chicken wings, there delicous and they serve them fresh and hot!! The staff was quick to greet and be of service. Expect groups of 3 to 6. There is also a bar with tvs here if you want to have some drinks with friends and watch some sports. Will try there other menu items in the future.

It had been quite some time since we had visited Odeh's. We had an evening meeting so dinner out was on the agenda and I had been meaning to get back here for some time. I was super happy to immediately stumble upon the arancini appetizer. One of my favorite things so we placed our order! They did not disappoint! We ordered our entrées probably 10 minutes or so after ordering the appetizer however unfortunately everything came out at the same time which is always very disappointing. That's a training opportunity for sure. A simple way to remedy that issue is waitresses should be trained not to enter the entrée order until the appetizer hits the table. I was in restaurant management for many years and this is just a pet peeve of mine and it's just irritating filling rushed through a meal. By the time we got to our entrées they were not particularly warm. Our waitress was nice, if not a little too attentive. The food was delicious and we ended up getting boxes for lunch the next day due to the generous portion sizes. That was a nice bonus! Saved me packing up the next day's lunches when I got home! There were a nice selection of desserts from their sister business around the corner. I was tempted by the pistachio baklava but maybe next time. I've seen online that they recently started doing brunch as well so that may be our next venture in.

Back here after a very long time, too long! Just brilliant tasty food served up hit and fresh and it all looks amazing when your plate is set on the table. They are so friendly and efficient and fast. I love the expansion here with so much more seating and a full bar. Tuesday night and this place was packing those tables in. Which I just love for this restaurant. Odeh is around keeping an eye on things and bringing me my tzatziki when I needed it. My shwarma chicken platter was so good, the rice, chicken cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. Grilled veggies and mixed salad and pita. So much food and great bang for your buck. My friends enjoyed their prime rib sandwich with hummus and pita chips and Caesar salad . Also the steak and veggie sub with onion rings . All of it here is top grade and the variety on the menu is insane. Mediterranean and the pizza and pasta . Great cocktail list as well and a wine list. This place has some of the best food in the area and you can tell. Well done to this staff and insanely well run establishment I won't be gone this long next time !

    I love the gryo shawarma.
    Gail C.

Not much for the ambiance, but so much for get service and great tasting food. The gryo shawarma was moist and tender. The sweet potato fries had a touch of salt and a drizzle of honey. The homemade desserts are incredible. I believe this is the most popular, best tasting neighborhood restaurant. It has all the feels, a bar and non Mediterranean options. I will be back, as usual once a week.

This time I came back by myself and tried the noodle bar instead, and it's a completely different experience but still worth it. The noodle bar is set up like a small Korean grocery store station. Shelves of instant ramen to choose from, you grab your bowl, add your noodles and seasoning, then use one of the machines to cook it. There are three settings and I used M1, which came out just right. The broth was hot and the noodles had a good texture, not mushy. This is a basic setup. No fresh toppings, no eggs, no extras to dress it up. Some places offer that, but this one keeps it simple. If you go in expecting a full ramen bar you might be disappointed, but if you understand what they're going for, it works. And don't break your noodles. Leave them long so you can slurp them the way you're supposed to. If you watch Korean dramas, you've seen this a hundred times. Slurp the noodles and drink the broth after. I also ordered the Cajun tiger roll, 10 pieces, and that plus the noodles was more than enough food. The roll had tempura shrimp and cucumber inside, topped with spicy crab salad, spicy mayonnaise, and flame-seared salmon. The sushi chef used a handheld torch to sear the salmon right in front of me, and that added a nice finish. Between the noodles and sushi, I was full. This is a good option if you don't want to do the full all-you-can-eat. It's quick, easy, and you still get a good experience without committing to grilling at the table. I'd still recommend this place for groups, but now I'd also tell people not to overlook the bar if you're by yourself or just want something lighter. Must order: Instant ramen (use M1) and the Cajun tiger roll Heads up: Noodle bar is basic with no fresh toppings, manage expectations accordingly

Pretty impressive. Anyway, back to the food. We did enjoy the corn ribs, but they were pretty messy and difficult to eat. I have seen some examples at other places where the kernels were easier to get at, or you could even eat the husk part because it was so thin. Also, we would have liked a little more, the ribs did not even really add up to a full large ear of corn. The fajitas for two were really good and a huge portion. Very tender meat and veggies. We would have liked to see more pineapple. The chunks were small and a little sparse on the skillet, so in the end, we didn't get much of that tropical flavor. In the end, it wasn't enough to deduct a star as we had an excellent overall experience. Thanks amigos!

It closed in early February for what were supposed to be renovations, only to reopen months later with a new name and a new concept, trading slightly upscale Southern for more upscale Italian. In some regards, this makes sense - it fills a void created by the closure of Lulu and Blu - but in other ways, it's a massive gamble. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, and while it was an overall pleasant experience, it also made us miss Magnolia. The higher price point is the chief culprit. Otto and Blue offers pastas in the $20s and entrees starting in the $30s, bread and olive oil not included. While we were celebrating an occasion that merited such a splurge, it's hard to imagine the restaurant remaining competitive at those prices once the sheen of newness wears off. Look past that, however, and Otto and Blue shines in both ambiance and service. It's classy without being stuffy, and the dark turquoise tones suit it well. Allison, a Magnolia Blue mainstay, was personable and attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Otto and Blue's menu offers apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. It's predominantly Italian albeit with a few options for the steak-and-potatoes crowd. The dishes range from recognizably classic (rigatoni Bolognese) to conspicuously elevated (halibut piccatta). After mulling over several offerings, we went with the bread service, tagliatelle, and duck cacciatore. The food ranged from fairly good to outstanding. While $9 for bread is a tough pill to swallow, they executed it as well as they possibly could have: a hot, fresh ciabatta with tasty herb butter, olive relish, and a quality olive oil-balsamic combo as accompaniments. The cacciatore boasted a pair of duck legs confit, and while I'm usually no fan of dark meat poultry, these were prepared well with crispy skin and plenty of meat. For a typically hearty dish, the sauce seemed light (and a bit subdued), but that could be a consequence of serving atop polenta (more absorbent) rather than pasta. Speaking of pastas and sauces, the tagliatelle hit a nice balance of creamy and zesty without swimming in its white wine lemon sauce. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal ended up being the dessert that Otto and Blue kindly offered as an anniversary gift. A scoop of vanilla bean gelato came adorned with a Biscoff cookie, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of salt. If salt and especially olive oil on ice cream seem vaguely blasphemous, don't knock it until you try it. Each bite was thoroughly delicious. It's a given that good food doesn't come cheap, but even so, Otto and Blue has no margin for error to justify what it charges. On food alone, it was close but not quite there. However, the overall experience made it worthwhile, and I have no regrets about dining here.

We didn't even need to look at the menu because we both wanted the Iskander Platter. Lucky we came in when we did because we got the last of it. Since having it the first time, I've watched a few recipe videos on how it's made. It's quite a process and takes a while so it's understandable they can't just make more quickly if they run out. This time it had a little different flavor than the last time. It had a saltier flavor and not quite as buttery as I remembered which was disappointing since that was the best part for me. It was still delicious but I was happy for the yogurt that helped cut the saltiness a little. Possibly the sauce became more concentrated since it was the end of the batch they had. I could only finish half because it's such a large portion but my husband finished his. The service was super friendly as always. The owners here are so lovely and always attentive. I will definitely be back again.

Hot melted butter is drizzled over the top to make it the dish rich and savory. A scoop of yogurt helps to balance it out and a wedge of charred tomato and bell pepper garnish the dish. All served in a long clay dish. This dish is not always available but it is on the menu. If it's available I highly recommend it. It's a bit indulgent and I couldn't eat it every day, but it is unique and delicious and the best Iskender I've ever had.
