Such a cute place right on the Main Street of the Pawtuxet Village shopping area. This marketplace…read morehas a little bit of everything - groceries, specialty items, frozen and refrigerated foods from local vendors, and a well stocked prepared foods case featuring breakfast and lunch sandwiches and sides. We found so many local favorites here (Wrights Dairy Farm milk and cheeses, Warwick Ice Cream specialty flavors, breads and dry goods from popular local vendors etc.) as well as some fun gift items we've never see before. We selected some prepared food items (broccoli crunchy salad and veggie pasta salad) to go with our sandwiches and we were not disappointed. The ladies behind the counter were lovely and very nice to speak with, they not only told us about the items in the deli case, they also shared their love for the Pawtuxet Village area and recommend some other shops we should visit. We're already planning another visit there as soon as the weather warms up a bit so we can enjoy our sandwiches outside and do a little more shopping in the area.

It's a newer-ish addition to the Pawtuxet Village shops & the Market is super cute. There is a little of everything: a charming bakery counter, prepared foods, made-to-order breakfast & lunch items, great coffee, fresh produce, freezer staples, baking must-haves, local RI products & shelves of unexpected goodies. It's one of those places where you walk in for one thing & walk out with five more. For the challenge, we tried their homemade biscuit sandwich topped with scrambled eggs, cheese, ham & arugula. Absolutely delicious! The chicken salad is scrumptious & I have to go back for another container of beet salad cuz I ate the whole thing for lunch today. THICK sourdough slice! The coffee is good, the syrup she uses isn't sweet so you get that flavor without the sickly sweetness other places have. There's some parking spots and a few seats inside. It was very warm inside, so my only feedback would be to make it cooler so people sit in the chairs and eat there!

The on-street parking situation is tough, but luckily after one unsuccessful pass we spotted the parking lot across the street for the vacant Walgreens so we were set. The interior is reminiscent of cafes we visited in Italy: clean lines, good lighting, elegant tile and wood accents. It's a stylish place, with comfortable seating indoors and around both sides of the exterior. Service was very friendly and responsive. I did try to order a country biscuit (since there was one displayed in the pastry case), but was told they did t make them. The barista told our counter worker that there were some in the fridge/freezer but that didn't find one for us - disappointing, but I didn't really need it anyway, and did just plan on getting a coffee, but still... You can tell a lot about the quality of a coffee shop from a basic drink of either hot or iced coffee. The iced did not disappoint! It's robust without a hint of over-roasting; strong but not bitter. The large is a generous size, and the cup was coffee with a bit of cream (and not the reverse as happens in a few places). So, no star deducted for my missing biscuit. I'm looking to coming back to try that biscuit AND a breakfast sandwich - they looked amazing when I saw them being served up at the counter!

You can tell they both really care about customer interactions, creating quality beverages and making each visit special for customers. What a great coffee shop! The part of the track that goes through the woods really makes you feel like you're on your way to the North Pole. That, and all the festive Christmas lights and inflatable around the track.
