I really enjoyed walking around and exploring their collection of unique items. They don't have as many plants and varieties of soils that you'd find at a nursery, but I see a lot of potential here. Surveying the products on the shelf, I realized that I could use some of the fly ribbons and sticky traps I already have at home (previously used for flies). But I also grabbed some Safer Home pantry pest traps this time around. The store was clean and organized on a Wednesday afternoon. The pest control products were easy to find, the location similar to most other HD stores (far aisle on the left in Pleasanton). Checking out was quick and simple without any waits. In fact, there were workers at the self checkout registers helping customers ring up their orders... unnecessary but appreciated (as long as they don't slow me down). There was even an employee greeting guests at the entrance, and she was helpful and friendly too. Even though I just made a small purchase on this day, I was genuinely impressed with the service here, as well my overall experience.
