The owner obviously has a green thumb, there was not an inch of ground, benches, tables, and shelves that wasn't covered with her handiwork - flowers, ground cover, vegetables, vines - it's all there. There was even a number of areas where she had free plants that she couldn't see throwing away or composting if someone could put them to good use. We got there during one of her regular plant sales so ended up spending ~40% of what we'd have spent at the big nursery. Great value, great selection, awesome service - we're glad we dropped by and will be back again.

I actually like it, and its reminiscent to something I have, but is a little bit brighter. So, if you like fragrances, I'd definitely browses Ross's offering. Definitely do a search for price comparisons. Now, if you a person of size, you may have a bit of trouble finding shirts of any style that may or may not fit, I didn't bother to looks, as I took a quick glance and the picking are slim to none. Thats on the buyers for the stores. I did manage to find 2 pairs of pants, in the men's section, unfortunately the choice in sizes is limited as is the color choices. if you're 38 and above, best of luck. On another positive, I did feel like I was able to shop without the usual feeling of being policed by the loss prevention dept. So that was a plus, if i had more time to look around, the store seems to have a pretty good home decor dept. The store was in decent shape and pretty well organized, clean and be prepared to park nowhere near any of the multiple stores in the shopping center. It gets pretty busy midday.

While I was unloading my cart, the cashier asked if I needed a bag. Because she had her back turned to me and was not facing me, I had no idea she was speaking to me. She then turned around and asked again, and I said yes. From that point on, there was virtually no customer service. The cashier never greeted me, never made eye contact, and never acknowledged me. Instead, she carried on a conversation with a fellow employee while bagging my merchandise as if I wasn't even standing there. When she finished bagging my items, she placed the bag on the counter and waited for payment without telling me the total. There was still no eye contact and no communication. I finally asked, "Where is your customer service? At least you can tell me the balance." Her response was, "You can see the amount. I don't have to tell you." After I paid, there was no "thank you,and no acknowledgment whatsoever. I took my bag and immediately asked to speak with the manager because I found the interaction unprofessional and disrespectful. I understand retail employees have busy days, but basic courtesy, eye contact, and communication are fundamental parts of customer service. I go there all the time for plumbing parts, electrical, trim, paint, and other home improvement basics. Yes, it's more expensive than Home Depot, but that's reality. I have no problem with this. If I want cheap, I'll make the freeway trek to Bothell. I'm happy to pay a bit extra for the convenience of having Dunn Lumber in Kirkland instead of yet another Kirkland condominium block. Dunn can improve by getting rid of the space-wasting Mothership in the center. It may be necessary to address the needs of tradespeople in the mornings. But the rest of the day, it's just wasting space.

He even showed me pictures of previous jobs and they all looked like the 'powder' (it's a dry powder that you sprinkle on the carpet then vacuum in) did the trick well. I used it and it was an absolute waste of money. I brought it back (since he supposedly has customer satisfaction) and asked for a partial refund and he blew a gasket. What a DICK!! He got into it with me, started yelling. I have NEVER been treated like that in my entire life by a business owner. My advice. Do NOT do business with this guy. He doesn't deserve your money. In order to exchange it for a regular king mattress I'd actually have to pay more out-of-pocket because they won't honor the sale price. So I'm paying more money for a cheaper mattress. The return or exchange process is anything but easy or transparent. I was never told that the adjustable base was nonrefundable--so I'm stuck with a $2,500 base I can't return. I will end up spending way more than I expected just trying to find the right fit mattress. They charge a delivery or pick up fee for exchanges and returns which adds on even more money. Customers deserve honesty and clear communication up front, not hidden costs, especially when making such a large purchase. I would not recommend Sleep Number unless you are 100% certain about your purchase, because once they have your money, the policies make it very hard and very costly to change your mind.
