This is my second time here. The beer is well rounded. They did have three or four ipas, which is my favorite type to try. I came to the brewery for Disney trivia, it was a blast. The service was bar tender only which is understandable in a brewery. They both were very friendly and quick at pours. It wasn't extremely busy which was nice to find a table easily. I'm planning on going back again.

Rockcreek is a hidden gem. Located in mission, it doesn't look like much from the front as you drive pass it until you peak the corner where the entrance and outdoor patio is. You walk in and you are surrounded with a nice clean casual feel of old friends that have been waiting for your arrival. Rockcreek is just that...a place where you can set your regular hangout with friends on the weekend, lay back, and enjoy some stellar beers. My friends had raved about this place for a while because they live dangerously close ( it's their regular joint for craft beer) so I had to check it out! Every beer was made really well and I am a beer snob. Their ipas was outstanding and balanced w juicy hops and fruit notes. Their darker beers were also balanced and provided rich notes. The owner is extremely friendly and made me feel like we had been friends for a long time. If you have not stopped in, definitely check it out!

Rockcreek is always a great time but it's adorable what they've done with the place for the holiday season. I loved how festive the inside was! Jeff was the bartender and he's always great! We tried a variety of their IPAs and all of the lights was one of our favs. They do have a very limited selection of snacks and we opted into none of them. Snack Shack is right across the street, so we grabbed some burgers, onion rings and fries to go and brought them over to the brewery. They do close pretty early during the week (8pm) but Jeff was nice to let us stay past close for a little bit!

Friday Night with Grammy in town had us enjoying a quick drink out! Yay! Happy to have a new choice in town. What a nice place to unwind with some tasty choices. We tried a few different ones and were super happy with each one. We were too stuffed from dinner to partake in the food or popcorn, another time perhaps.

I drove out to Mission to get a few cans for carry-out from the new Rockcreek Brewing Company. The space is 1/2 block north of Johnson Dr. and fairly hidden. They offer patio seating and bar and table seating inside although neither space has much of a view or ambiance. They do need to work on that. I took home 4 16 ounce cans: Rye Rye Love Rye IPA 7.0 ABV, King's Brew Imperial Stout 9.2 ABV, Hodie Witbier 5.3 ABV, Round After Sundown Oatmeal Brown Ale 5.9 ABV. Two were $4 and two were $6 each. My 2 standouts were the Stout and the IPA. They were both robust and flavorful while the Witbier and Brown Ale were not bad, just not memorable or re-orderable. My buddy that I shared them with came to the same conclusion. Nice friendly guys behind the counter made a positive impression also.

I don't know if I hyped up this brewery and when I finally tried it then I was disappointed. Yes, it was fun to try but it doesn't have brag worthy beer options. Rock creek is one of the several breweries within walking distance from us and I was hoping I'd like it to be a new hangout option. It had an open patio to sit outside on a nice day or afternoon and the interior could be a fun place to watch a game or relax. However, my partner and I were not enthusiastic about the beer options.

One of downtown Mission's newest little gems. This area is really coming alive and Rockcreek Brewery is a must try spot. This renovated car garage makes for a really cute industrial ambience with great outdoor patio seating and extra space to spread out. Each weekend features a different food truck - follow them on social media to be updated on the rotation of trucks. While I'm not a proclaimed beer expert - I have liked all everything I have tried! If you're not into beer and just there for the experience, they offer wine as well! Pro Tip : I can't stress this enough - TRY THE HOMEMADE POPCORN! The owners also own Charleson's Popcorn which is the absolute best. Not sure what magic fairy dust is sprinkled on it but once you pop, you just can't stop.

Stopped in on Saturday as part of our weekend family pub crawl. Rock creek offers both inside and outside seating. Parking is a premium but this area is very walkable. Great variety or beers and thankfully the menu is not overloaded with IPAs. Actually, they offer a nice variety of styles to satisfy most consumers. Additionally, they offer basic wine and soda for non beer consumption. Great place to meet friends sit back and have a beer on a beautiful day.

What an awesome new addition to Mission! Not only is this space open, clean, and industrial, it's large enough to "social distance" in these crazy Covid times. So far we have tried the King's Brew Imperial Stout, The In Transit Cream Ale, and the Eiger Sanction Porter. I am always going to love a stout if it's a good one, this one is a good one!! The cream ale is a perfect summer beer, the Imperial is exactly what you'd expect, and all in all this place is going to put out some quality beers, I can tell!! So glad we were able to get here!

They have a full menu of food, lots of beer, and even cocktails and wine for non beer drinkers. Everyone we interacted with was super nice and friendly. We didn't order any food but I was definitely tempted. We stuck with beer. They lean more towards German styles and they are really well done. I ordered a cream ale-Lickey Chewy that features strong butterscotch flavors. This beer was my introduction to POG at a Brewfest a few years ago and it's definitely one to try. I also tried the Eisbock and the stout. All were really good. I'm going to make an effort to return. And I plan to try the food and maybe catch some live music. If you're in the area or just looking to go somewhere outside of the city, definitely check them out!

The board will list the ABV for each beer, as well as the pour prices, and you can choose from anything between lighter ales to heavier stouts. I prefer the darker stuff and really love their 'Train in Vain', a brown ale with fabulous body. Don't miss their fresh-hopped varietals, such as the recent 'Earth & Sky', which gives you that right-off-the-trellis hoppiness. They also were 'blowing the taps' which meant we get to try many of the beers that they were saying good-bye to. So, a little story. I was one of the first to wander into a place called Brew Lab years ago. I actually found the place because of looking for brewing supplies. There were a good amount of tools here but also these folks were serving their beer! So, what a great idea. I bought some grain... and had a few beers! I visited this place a few more times on the regular. Suddenly one day there was appetizers. And had the most divine pretzel bites that have ever existed. Next time was an amazing club sandwiches. And some pulled pork. All of the food has always been great bar food. And then there was the beer. So many delicious beers each time. Too many to try at once. But, that is all memory lane... Now... here is the news! Brew Lab is changing. The ownership remains the same however they have given up the brewing. They will have a few of their specialty beers that they keep on tap but they will have a lot more taps of beer from other breweries. On this visit they brought out a large amount of samples of the food that they will be adding/altering in the menu going forward. There were a lot of really delicious items and I am excited for when they have the full menu and I can order some of them. Most notably I am excited for the Catfish Po'boy sandwich. We will be back soon to try the all new... Tall Boys. Look for that review coming soonish!

But you're coming for the beer, and the beer is really great. Limitless has gone from a location in a light office park to its own standalone building, complete with patio and plenty of space. There are generally half a dozen or more of their own craft brews on tap ranging from IPA through porter/stout. You may have even had some of their flagship beers elsewhere, such as JoCo Juice, a hazy IPA or Rolling in the Deep, a double New England IPA. I myself go for malt over hop, so I find their Marzen to be one of my favorite beers. If they have their Mexican lager on tap, then I also suggest sampling that as well. A flight of four runs you $14-ish and is a great value, as the sample sizes give you plenty of opportunity to really get a feel for their offerings. If you find something you really like, then you can take four-packs home to go in cans. Limitless is open almost every day, at least until 7:00 and when the weather is nice, the patio was a must do. There are frequently people playing a board game or just enjoying the space, and while I don't want this to be just another noisy space, they could do with maybe a TV or two more. But that is just me being picky and since they are in the neighborhood, I like visiting whenever I can.
