I cried when I arrived home once I saw it in the light and not under the garage lights. i can't see out my windows, my dashboard is sticky and I cleaned the car for an hour in my driveway. Now I know why it took 2 hours instead of 6 hours to get it detailed. I paid over $300.00 with tip. My car was sent out to be detailed by a reputable auto repair shop. I was charged $250 and they did not detail the trunk and the passenger seat was subpar. I was offered to come back to the detail shop on my own and I would be given a free car wash for my inconvenience and they would correct the issue. When I brought the car back the next day they indicated they were understaffed and when I asked for some sort of reimbursement I was immediately redirected to take the car to their dock so they could correct the issue. A man who appeared to be the owner came out with a vacuum. I told him that I also needed the passenger seat reconditioned. Everything that was on the website for $198 was not completed. I paid $250 with Wreck Room (who are not at fault). I was told by the owner who definitely made me feel uncomfortable if I left a review they would not correct the issue. The interior of my car looked super dirty after a tough, salty winter, but more than that, I had some stains on my upholstery that have just been bothering me so much-- I called Excalibur to see what they could do. They could fit me in the next day (great). I can't evaluate if their rate is better than other detailers because this is the first time I've gone to a detailer for a deep cleaning of the interior, but I liked learning that if you use their services more often, they provide discounts for loyalty. **UPDATE: PERSONALLY ATTACKED BY OWNER, via text, due to this review on Google! I had to block him! Poor buisness handling, incompetent work. Not on time to meet for appointments on several occasions resulting in wasted trips and time. Ignored calls and texts when returning to fix what they didn't complete. One of these services included a 1200$ audio system. Returned multiple times to fix and its still not right. Within several minutes of picking up the car on the first visit there was extremel amplifier feedback that almost blew my speakers.. another return- lost power to a speaker.."loose wire ", he says... another return: because amp had to be replace, another: for wiring the speakers to the wrong channels....goes on and on!! Unprofessional and extraordinary rude and inflammatory when finally questioning the owner after multiple offenses.. First time callers (possible new clients) expect a timly call back from the owner, Joe, with a "can do" attitude of confidence....but, don't be fooled and don't trust him with any substantial service costing you hundreds... Worst buisness owner I have ever met. Its egregious what I endured with this guy. This is the first time I have had a car detailed. I chose Excalabur due to the excellent Yelp reviews. I was surprised that they offered pick up and drop off service at no additional charge. That made it really convenient for me to get the car cleaned out during the week. I really brought them a challenge. My 2002 Honda Accord was a mess inside. The car looks beautiful now. EVERYTHING inside the car is spotless. I don't know how they cleaned out those cup holders. The dash is shiny, the carpeting and mats, perfect. I can't think of one thing that missed. In 2017 Joe charged me $110 to clay bar, wax the exterior and clean the interior. I stopped by last week and his manager quoted $275 to clay bar, buff and wax the exterior and clean the interior (including shampooing the headliner which it doesn't need). Yes, they do great work but a quote that is more than double what I was charged in October 2017 is out of line. I've used their services twice over the course of 2016 and 2017 and never paid more than $110. read more

I absolutely would not recommend Excalabur Detailing to anyone after the way one my family members was treated by Joe, the owner of Excalabur. First of all, they're not good at all about answering their phone, so my family member had to leave messages hoping they would call her back to check the status of her car. When my family member finally talked to Joe midday, he couldn't remember what she wanted done with her car because he forgot to write it down. That's a red flag right there. He then reassured my family member that they'd start on her car right away and that it would be done by a certain time. Well, that time came and went and came and went, so my family member had to call and leave messages several times. Two hours after the promised pickup time, her car was finally ready. When my family member inquired about a possible discount due to the fact that her car was supposed to be done much sooner, he replied, "That's not going to happen." He then told my family member that the customer is not always right and referred to her as a "little girl". He also swore at my family member and then refused to give her the car back unless she paid cash even though she had other reliable forms of payment with her. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to hold someone's car when they have the money to pay you for the services rendered. He told her to call the cops. We really should have because he was purposely trying to intimidate my family member, and the kicker is when she paid him the cash that he was demanding, he needed to use a calculator to figure out an $11 difference. I have never written a bad review about a business before, but I have never heard of anyone treating a customer like this and they don't even deserve a 1 star rating. An apology would have gone a long way, but instead he chose to handle this matter in a completely unacceptable way. read more

I made the mistake of going for a detail at this place Friday April 28th I initially went in for a full detail (out and indoor & engine) the owner Joe was super nice and really seemed like he knew his stuff, he quickly persuaded me into getting rid of some minor scratches and small dents all around the vehicle the price was about 250$ for the full detail (maybe less) can't exactly remember and then said 475$ for taking care of the dents and the scratches(not scratches made from the automatic car wash he mentioned those would not come off.) went to drop off my truck at around 11am and was told it would take about 4-5hrs max, I had to head in to work so i called him time and time again to have a time to pick it up my wife attempted to pick up the truck at around 5:30pm and wasn't finished so she had to go back home and then picked it up at around 7:30pm she called me right away to tell me the truck seemed dirty from alot of places she went back but Joe had gone out to deliver a car so I got in contact with Joe and was told by him to go after work 10pm he would be there late I went he triedd to take care of some of the issues and the headliner that got stained after the wash, it was night so it wasnt easy to see so the next morning it was sunny and bright so all the blemishes were super noticeable the windows were dirty, the bottom of the seats was not properly cleaned some of the seats were not polished, the outside was poor looking, no dents gone no scratches gone, none at all after all that time nothing was taken care of, all this for 475$ the engine was also poorly cleaned and Joe noticed it all, wasnt his fault but should really make sure his workers are doing the job correctly because its alot of money for just nothing. Didnt want to write a review because Joe was so nice But I keep looking at my truck and I get pissed at the fact I got scammed once again and the fact that i detailed it myself after 5 days of taking it and the outcome was tremendous, the only reason i took it to a shop was because my newborn was coming so i wanted a perfect looking truck as joe told me but got the exact opposite 1 Star thanks to Joes charm but the service done sucked read more

there truly aren't services out there like this one anymore. Excalibur cares about their customers and the people that they are servicing to be happy. This is one of the nicest services I've ever gotten and I have never been treated more kindly. I took my dog hair black SUV in for an interior detailing and not only were they efficient, but they could not have been friendlier. I had a decal missing on the back of my car and an issue with my windshield wiper, and Joe took care of it without question, the interior of my car was absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the service, the price, and the way myself and vehicle, or treated. When I discovered my recently purchased motorcycle was covered in tar, due to some local road construction (they hadn't put up any signage warning drivers that they were laying down oils) I was pretty much sick to my stomach. But, having a positive experience with Excalabur in the past (similar issue; tar on my wife's white car) I figured they could turn back time and remove all traces of the goo. And ... they did. I called them on a Monday morning, dropped the bike of (the crew was out delivering cars) and got a call back from Joe within an hour with a reasonable estimate. My bike was ready the same day, and when I picked it up it was like new. Actually, better than new. Completely detailed with every bit of tar gone. Even in the hard to reach places. I've been going here for about a year now for basic detailing and washes, finally I have found some time off to leave my car with them for a few days to do a completely new paint job on the bumper of my Camaro.
