There was no pet hair -- we don't own pets. Please stop making false claims to justify your work. The job itself was poorly done: the car was not properly dried, which caused it to become moldy and develop a strong odor. Overall, the interior detail was okay. My car was cleaner when I picked it up. I did have to pay an extra $25 for additional cleaning of the seats...Kids are messy, especially under the car seat areas which I understood. Hi I purchased the exterior wash and interior cleaning. The rims were not very clean. There were smudges on my Tesla screens and dust in the corners. The car and mats very nicely cleaned otherwise. Found a scratch that was on the middle console of my car. I sent an email on saturday and the owner called me back the following Monday. I inspected my car prior to bringing it in and the marks were not there. My car was also not messy nor was it very dirty. There minor dust inside, and no trash prior. I understand that the owner couldn't have known if the marks were there before or not. But what I did not appreciate is the business ethics and the dismissive response that I received from this phone call. I am not a "Karen". I am not asking for a refund or a free service. I am just asking for the scratches to be acknowledged. However the response I got from Paul was "I am not going to argue over a $30 service." I know when it comes time to get your car cleaned it's always a question as where to take it and how much do you have to pay. It's true, most people have a hard time deciding. But I will share my fantastic experience I had. While we all have limited access to many stores, restaurants and bars, Detail Kings is open. It just took a call for an appointment and away I went. The car is a 2005 but has been taken care since then. We took her car over and what a transformation ! You couldn't get a better detail than we got. I only wish I had a picture of before. I strongly suggest the professional detail. The car was buffed and waxed, the interior cleaned along with leather treatments and the engine cleaned. WOW is all I can say. Amazing job! My car looks brand new - it was pretty gross from 3 years of me being a slob plus now having a toddler. So they had their work cut out for them and it looks and smells great. Wonderful attention to detail and the manager was very friendly. However, note: if you're at risk to COVID and/or not vaccinated yet, double mask. This place ruined my car---DO NOT GO HERE. They use cheap extractors so your car is soaking wet after their "cleaning". If you have an SUV or minivan with seats that fold up or down, you will need to get a new car after you deal with these guys and the buckets of water they leave in your upholstery. I have a car covered in mold after airing out my car over 24 hours, two different times with them. We got our car detailed before a vacation and now are having to fly due to our car not being usable. I appreciate they provide services onsite at our offices. I requested cleaning on the interior but I only see they cleaned the mats and very lightly wiped down the interior of the car. Not bad. I had initially called and made an appointment about a month ago, but asked to switch my appointment to a few weeks later, because I was going to take my car on a road trip, and wanted it detailed afterwards. The lady receptionist who helped me was very friendly and took a lot of time to explain to me what each package meant. I made my reservation for a Friday morning. Friday morning (last week), I arrived promptly on time. The location was slightly difficult to find, but luckily there was a car ahead of me going to the same place, so I just followed them in. I was told the exterior detail I was getting would only take 1.5-2 hours, but I ended up waiting from 9am (drop off time) to 12noon at the Starbucks next door. No big deal, but it made me a bit late for a lunch appointment I had afterwards. Even though i don't own a "fancy" car, I am very fastidious when it comes to maintaining it and keeping it looking nice. I am very detail oriented, and I expect others to be the same when it comes to "detailing" my car. Unfortunately, while the car looks lovely from a distance, if you look up close, you'll see that there are still bug splatters (from my road trip...) on the front bumper, and the mirrors. I have attached photos for reference. I checked the whole car over before I left the garage, knowing that if there was something seriously wrong, I wanted to bring it up before I left. When I looked in my trunk.....a box of my shoes, and my car scraper brush were missing! I immediately walked back into the shop to tell them, and the shop owner was very nice and immediately called the boys who washed my car over and had them give me back my stuff. Good thing I checked. Mistakes happen, no big deal! I appreciate that the owner keeps his workers focused and hard working. Overall for a $120 (and then I think I tipped 10? or maybe 15?) I am a little sad that the bug splatters are still stuck to the front of my car. In general, it was a good experience with friendly people. However, I think from now on, I'll just stick to washing my own car, and only go in if I want the exterior waxed. read more

In late winter, early spring I used a Groupon for Detail Kong's which they honored. Their location is hard to find. The price was reasonable but I have two complaints. 1) my left rear window would not open and close smoothly after their detail. I would stick significantly. I called Detail Kings but they didn't seem too concerned. I had to take my car to the dealer to get it fixed (thanks a lot). 2) they didn't take off all the wax... you could see white wax spots on some edges. Overall, not a good deal read more

We used detail kings for professional detailing a couple times this year since our car tends to stay fairly dirty due to small children, trips to Home Depot, and length of time in between interior cleanings. Convenient location though maybe hard to find the first time. Professional detailing takes around 2 hours, so bring a book. We will definitely use them again since this format and location works for our schedule. They do offer other car wash and detailing options. First time I've ever had any car professionally detailed. After our experience at Detail Kings it definitely won't be the last. This is a very well-run business in an odd but genius location on the lower level of a parking garage (Butterfield Road location). We took our car in for a showroom detail and it looks as good as it did when we drove it off the lot two years ago with just seven miles on it. The employees actually look happy to be there which is always a good sign that they like and take pride in their work and it definitely shows with the end result.
