Gary, the owner, is so welcoming. He's so in tune with his customers, he knew we were "newbies" and made sure we felt at home. While we were visiting we learned they have a dart league and a corn hole league. We were able to watch the dart league play which was nice. They also have a alternating food trucks Thursdays through Sunday to provide food for customers. When you drive up, it doesn't look like your normal brewery but that is a part of the environment that makes it so cool. Once you get inside, there is table seating, the bar and an area with lounging chairs and sofas if you'd like to have a "living room" feel. There is also an outdoor covered patio to enjoy sitting outside when the weather permits. It was too hot for us to enjoy outside. Talking to Gary, the owner, we learned they have three events a year: anniversary event, October fest and Christmas fest. My husband and I came because he enjoys craft beers. Cool place with some very helpful bartenders who helped me wade through the big selection they have. I was here to sub in for a buddy's darts partner, and all the patrons were very friendly. They had a food truck outside, which I didn't try, but what was brought inside smelled great. Plenty of seating, plenty of parking, only downside is for an (almost) inner looper, it's a bit of a drive to get out there. Can't fault them for that though! read more

Brew 30 Taphouse is an interesting venue, which I hope succeeds because I support local business and the proprietors of this establishment whom I met at the time of my visit have a sincere vested interest in offering the community an alternative venue, which I suspect they envision as the optimum neighborhood "destination location" where "everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came". Brew 30 has a wide array of beers and ales on tap and some in cans including a lovely honey mead that I sampled. If you are someone who appreciates variety you'll find it at Brew 30 whose focus, so they say, is on craft beers. If some of their offerings are unfamiliar just ask the friendly staff and they'll happily share their vast amount of knowledge in helping you make an educated selection. Although Brew 30 has invested significantly in the cost of building their venue I feel their prices are a wee bit on the high end and would appreciate a few selections at a lower price point for those of us for whom this preference matters. Brew 30 has a food truck outside their premises, which everyone was raving over. I sampled their rosemary fries, which were nothing to write home about and the portion was skimpy. Other orders I saw people eating at the bar seemed ample, yet I caution you their food prices are not exactly "cheap". Just my opinion that $ 10-12 for a burger is way more than I want to pay. Brew 30's environment is friendly. People will chat you up if you sit at the bar and if you are a newcomer they'll make you feel welcome, which was my experience. In offering one piece of advice I hope is helpful I would suggest Brew 30 think about dimming their lights. I am not a fan of bars or restaurants, which are overly bright. Instead, I prefer a cool vibe and a mellow aesthetic, which I found missing at Brew 30. If I were the owner of Brew 30 I'd find some great music I'd stream that contributed to the atmosphere within the venue; music akin to wallpaper that drones out the ambiance of the people talking around you creating a greater sense of intimacy. I'll give Brew 30 a "thumbs up", not "two thumbs" just yet. I wish them well as they navigate their way through the turbulent waters of a first year business. read more

Beers- 5 Stars Good solid rotating menu, good variety, they also have some good cans for sale. Atmosphere- 4 Stars Pretty nice bar, seems a little bit sterile overall, but it's also very clean. Seems like it could get very loud but it's never been super busy when I was there. Service- 5 Stars Been very nice every time I have been in. I'll cut to the chase - if you're contemplating going to this spot, stop reading and go. I came here with my family, which includes an 8 and 5 year old, and we all had a blast. The kids corner was perfect for the kiddos, with books, games, cards, and an adorable kid-sized table. We got a table easily (though it was around 5pm on a Saturday) and ordered two flights to try while we waited for our food from the food truck outside. Tiffany was a delight and accommodated our many requests for water refills, and helped me find the perfect Mexican style beer on the menu. We played darts (finally hit that bullseye!) and a fun game I'd never seen called Suspend, and ultimately, my father had to drag me out of there. They have a ton of events (ax throwing was happening the following day) and the place is just an all-around win. Can't wait to come back to the CYP so I can visit again! read more

It's really a nice 5 star joint - except....I don't drink much beer. Two wines on tap just isn't enough for me. The atmosphere is nice! Takes a bit to get a beer, but no one in our regular group seems to mind. The food truck has some amazing food. Burgers are huge, I love the Parmesan truffle fries. Had a taste of the fried pickles - not bad at all. Ordering is easy. Use a QR reader from the menu order food and pay. You'll get an ETA of your pick up and a text when it's ready. You can also order at the wagon and they will text as well. The crowd is of all ages. I feel there is ample seating with an additional patio out back with updated chairs. Outdoors they are puppy friendly. This is a no drama kind of place and those tenders and bar backs do work it. We will be back with our grip, and because it closes at a decent hour, they had no problem letting our group bring the kiddos - all of which are in middle and high school. Check FB for the band. Visiting from San Diego where we have a plethora of craft breweries, it was nice to stumble upon this place and have a solid craft brew experience. This is a no frills basic place to drink beer. I think it will improve when they start brewing their own beer. I think they need a little music too. I could faintly hear some music, like from a radio or something but I would prefer it a little louder. They do have some games and areas with couches if you want to bring your kids. They have food trucks available most of the time but if it happens to be a truck you don't like then you are SOL. It just seemed like a garage that was painted grey with a bar thrown in the corner.
