They've got you over a barrel when they come out and start throwing parts. This was an install of a drop in kitchen sink and faucet. He told me his hourly rate was 135 bucks. I was expecting to spend about 400 maybe 500. The final bill was 850. I feel I was overcharged on both the parts and labor. He charged me starting 45 min before he got there but still included a "truck charge." The removal and replace of the sink took 2 hours. To me the "clock" starts on the labor at the agreed upon arrival time. When I'm getting charged 439(!) bucks for parts on top of the sink and faucet itself, that extra charge for labor is quite unwelcome. I mean the sink and faucet itself that were "nice" were like 500 bucks. So almost that again just in parts. ‍ His answer in general as I look at these reviews is that he buys his parts from a plumber supply not Home Depot etc. I would have to research each individual part to see if its price point is "fair". A perusal of solid brass fittings and pvc p traps on the Lowe's site shows the price I paid was about doubled. He acted quite insulted that I wouldn't know just how much better his parts were and implied they were all but unavailable at big box stores. literally doubling what I expected to pay was quite a shock to say the least. However, no one showed up again. I called to ask what had happened, and no one returned my call. PD was once was a reputable company. Unfortunately, they no longer are as you can see in other negative reviews. I don't know if their ownership changed, or if there's another cause for their poor service. Buyer beware. Don't say that no one warned you.

When I say they're the best, I'm not exaggerating…read more I called them because I had a clogged toilet that we couldn't unclog. Turns out, we had roots in our pipe and needed them to dig under our house and replace the pipes. They used a camera and showed me the roots, then took pictures every step of the way, later showing me my extremely clogged pipe. Johnny and David were professional, responsive, and willing to work around my schedule. But that's not actually the reason I'm leaving this review... While they were here, Plumbing Wizard Johnny Rivera asked me, "Do you have anything else you need help with?" So I told him about my ongoing issue with pipes banging that no one had been able to solve. I'd had five plumbers to my home trying to solve the issue, and no one could figure it out. This one would suggest this, that would would suggest that, but it never got better. Johnny asked me to make it happen, then ran around my house, inside and out to isolate the noise. (No one did that before). It took him to the street where he said that my pressure relief valve was making a horrible noise and should be replaced. I'd had it replaced before, but it hadn't solved the issue. Still, he said they needed to be replaced every 5-8 years if you have hard water (which I do) so I decided to go ahead and do it. While he was out there, he found that I had TWO pressure relief valves, like at some point, someone had put one in and just not looked to see if there was a second one. After that, he adjusted the pressure coming into my house. THE BANGING DISAPPEARED. This was YEARS of stress that he solved for me in one day. A new banging started when my washing machine turned on with hot water, but I knew why. Years ago, I'd had a slab leak, and the plumbers who fixed that rerouted the pipes through my ceiling but didn't fasten them to anything. I called back and Johnny and David came and fixed that too. They had to cut a hole in my ceiling to get to the pipes, but they were very concerned about not making a mess, and they fastened the drywall back into my ceiling for me. Now my house is utterly silent when the water runs and my toilet works great. These guys CARE about their job, which is so refreshing in a world of cynics. If you need excellent plumbing work, these are your guys.

The "part" was a 1.5 inch pipe sold at any hardware store. Second attempt: rescheduled for a few weeks later. Time of appt was 8am. Received a call at 10:56am stating the driver was "just being dispatched" 2 hours and 56 minutes after our scheduled appt of 8am he showed up at 12:48pm. Nearly 1 o'clock pm for a 8am appt. I had a dentist appt at 11:30 which I mentioned to the scheduler who called and told me she "just dispatched" the tech. He gets to my home to tell me he can't install our softener because there's children present and my babysitter isn't over 18. The softener is in the garage. No need to enter the home whatsoever. Now they just simply won't answer their work phone to try to get this rectified. Bottom line: if you're keen on wasting multiple days waiting for these people to show up at their convenience, this is the your lucky day.

I have immense respect for the trade (as both my Brother and Father are Master Plumbers), sadly, they were unable to help us install the water softener, so we decided to outsource the job. The work was well done (per my Dad) and so, I will give credit to the Technician Marc L. However, the reason we are giving the company two stars is directly related to the quote versus the billed amount. Typically a plumbing company either quotes a flat rate or time plus materials. We were quoted time, plus materials, but billed a flat rate plus materials. When the technician arrived, he completed the job in 1/2 the time quoted. As a result, when we reached out to pay the bill, we were informed the quote was wrong and that they only do flat rate work. No problem, but we probably would have went with another Plumber if we had known that. My husband advised that's not what was quoted and she simply responded that it was wrong and would not reconcile the situation (for the record, I am paraphrasing). We paid the bill, because we believe in paying a company for the work, but when I called later that day to discuss in more depth, the company never responded. I did follow-up again and still no response. So here is my caution to people evaluating the company, they do good work, but their quoting/billing is misleading and their customer service is subpar--as they never returned my call.

I was a case-study in how NOT to maintain my dryer duct: It had been almost 20 years since it had been cleaned. We bought a new drier, which shut down due to restricted air flow. I had had a competitor come out the day before Omer's visit; while friendly, all they had was a hand-operated floppy brush more suited to HVAC ducts. They had no luck, and suggested I just move the dryer out to the garage and put in a new duct! Omer arrived with 2 different cameras, and a range of stiff brushes which he worked with his drill, in very tight spaces, and was finally able to dislodge what must have been a 10#, soaking wet mass of lint. He installed an upgraded flexible duct and a new outside duct cover, and cleaned everything up. I've learned my lesson: call Lady Bird out annually, and request Omer!

There's just one thing that I noticed. The cover for the water drain was missing. I'm not sure if the guys who worked on the water drain misplaced it I texted Adrian about it as soon as I noticed it was missing a few hours after he left, but I haven't heard back from him. He came out the next day to have a look and recommended capping the existing concrete as the quickest and most affordable option. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but he had good suggestions for improving the look, the leveling, and drainage which was also important for us. He and his crew came out the next week and finished the job in a day. It looks great (we get compliments), it's all usable space now and it drains much better. I'd give five stars, but he left his blower at home and so left our furniture and other things covered in concrete dust from a little demo they had to do. That said, I would recommend you get a quote from Juan if you need concrete work.
