Hey I'm back. Got an actual call today. They said they were calling to schedule my annual checkup/inspection. I had to ask if this was new because I didn't have one in 2024 nor in 2025. Here it is 2026 and this new person is going through records to schedule appointments. Here I am, paying in a Softner that doesn't work and I haven't even been getting these checkups BUT still I have to pay that $175 to get it done . I can't wait til this thing is paid off but I will say this. The person I spoke to had a brain. I'm still giving a 1 star until everything is resolved but I did want to mention the person I spoke to was pleasant so maybe they have new people working her now. read more

I originally contacted them because my old tank was clogged and no longer working. Cliff came out and sold me a brand-new tank for $1,000, but he never properly checked or addressed the connections. Not long after, I noticed the new tank was filling too high, and the water level continued rising until it eventually overflowed out of the reservoir unit. I messaged Cliff several times, clearly letting him know the tank was overflowing. Instead of helping, I was left on read. When he finally responded, he claimed it was "normal" for the water to be up to a certain point--yet the water level continued to rise and overflow. He never took responsibility or followed through to actually fix the issue. Because of this negligence, I ended up having to call a different company to come out and fix the problem that Century Water Solutions ignored. That second visit cost me another $1,200 plus the show-up fee--money I shouldn't have had to spend if the job had been done correctly the first time. And now Century Water Solutions has the audacity to contact me for my annual maintenance? No thank you. Do us both a favor: delete my contact information from your system, and retrain your workers on professionalism, accountability, and basic communication skills--because from my experience, Cliff seems to need an annual retrain in all of the above. When it worked it was great. Before the first year of having it the screen started to go out on it. They said it was fine. I've done my yearly maintenance check up and keep getting told it's in good working order. Well it's been almost a year since then and the salt level has not gone down and I'm being told I need to pay $1,000 for a new screen because they can't do a diagnostic on it with out it working. WTF. It hasn't worked after the first year of having it. So how did they say they fixed it the last 2 times? My biggest problem is you can't get ahold of anyone. Then get told I need to by a damn $1000 screen for a $10,000 system that is bull shit. Telling me it's my fault for the screen not working. In 2017 I got a unit from what seemed like a nice man. My boyfriend has exma and we were told this would help. Along with this, we were told about the benefits of how it would help our water heater and pipes. All the good stuff...including gift care! Well, there was never a gift card of $50 to Home Depot nor did anyone ever answer their phone either! I called several times with some questions shortly after they installed the unit. I gave up on reaching for a while. Felt like I was harassing them. Some months after the installation we had a toilet problem. We called Rooter Man. Love this company by the way. And he asked, "Why is the back of your toilet slimy?" I told him, "I have no idea." He then asked about my watershed. We went out to take a look. He educated me so much and I did more research and found out he was right. He told me my water filter does not work and appears to never really have or not for a long time. That the slim would cause more issues to my pipes and health than the hard water. AND he told me I don't have the sticker stating that is was approved by the city. I was horrified. I tried to call the company again and nothing. I called the loan company and told them about all this. How I wanted to settle my debt. They told me call the company to discuss that so I call the company but they NEVER EVER ANSWER or CALL BACK. I have been in this loop for years now. Pipes froze up literally two days before Christmas and we had no water and I'm thinking what a terrible time for this to happen because everyone was closing up for the holidays. To my surprise I called up Century Water Solutions and not only did they guide me through possible solutions but when that didn't work they literally came out to my house on Christmas eve and replaced my pipes to give us running water and I just can't thank them enough. I mean nobody does that. These guys are 100% A+ dependable and without a doubt I'd recommend them to anyone that I know in need of service. Alot of companies talk the talk but when it comes down to it after you've signed you never actually get what was promised, well Century Water Solutions definitely showed what a business should run like. Residents of Carol Meadows in Hutto Texas, BEWARE! There is an individual by the name of Tony who is coming around to the new residents in Carol Meadows. Tony is a nice guy but he is dealing a water softener/filtration system that he and his boss, Cliff (a highly unprofessional individual), claim to be worth 7k and is backed up by a lifetime warranty from them. Tony presents himself as a GE representative, which he is not, even though he is wearing a GE logo shirt, every time you see him. By looking directly on the GE website I searched for the supposed GE AvantaPure system. To my surprise...it did not exist. I became suspect overnight. I dug through paperwork, the internet, business cards, called other retailers, spoke to other people with softener/filtration units and in the end, I called them back and told them to get rid of it. There are other systems out there that have the exact same functionality, the exact same medias and cost roughly 4-5k cheaper, AND that is with the install! Of course we needed another unit to replace theirs and we found one for an amazing price. I could not be happier! My bank account thanks me too. If you come across a company with this name, get them out quickly or you're bound to be spending big bucks on something you can find well within an acceptable price range...I assure you. Whether you live in Leander, Austin, Round Rock, or Hutto, please keep your eyes open for these guys and alert your neighbors too. Highly unprofessional. I just reported their door-to-door salesperson Jennifer to Wilco for blatantly disregarding our no trespassing & no soliciting sign. Yesterday afternoon, she showed up at my home and banged on our door & rang the door bell numerous times waking both of my children from their nap. By the time I could get them calmed down and get to the door she was gone. Then, again this morning, she showed up. I opened the door this time, asked for her name and directed her to our no soliciting sign and shut the door while she was mid-sentence. Terrible non-existent service. Called to get service for my water softener and had a technician come out promptly. Tech stayed maybe 5 minutes, told me I needed a part but couldn't tell me how much the part would be or when I could get it. Rather than calling the office he told me I needed to call. After spending less than 5 minutes, performing no service or even looking at the unit thoroughly he asked for a service fee of $149 which I reluctantly paid. Called the office yesterday asking for a status on the part and what it would cost. After not getting a return call back I fired off an email letting them know I'm not pleased and I need some resolution. When I finally got a call back it was to state that my check would be ripped up and that they were not interested in my business. My email and communication never involved me raising my voice or using profane language. I'm at a loss as to what I could've done to make them wash their hands with me but something tells me they did me a favor. Very shoddy outfit. I would steer far away from this company. Wow I just almost bought this!!! Exact same thing. We were just waiting to discuss finances tonight and were probably going to buy it tomorrow. Same company, very sweet lady actually Trena Mobley, I really liked her. She did all the chemical tests showed us how bad our water was and even our brand new filtered refrigerator has "disgusting water" . Only thing was the price! $6500 - $7500 but we could pay 65$ or $75 a month. I've been researching online and can't find this product on any GE sites though which made me skeptical. So far, great. We just got installed, and the product is working as stated. To be honest, some of the reviews here really scared us. We didn't see them until after the installation, as kind of a final check. We expressed our concerns to Cliff, and he went out of his way to make sure we were not only satisfied with the product, but with the deal and customer service too. Came by himself 3 times. So, I can't explain or dismiss the bad reviews, but I can tell you about our good experience with them in February 2016. If things go south, I'll absolutely come back and update the review, but so far we're satisfied with the product, and extremely satisfied with the customer service. Dec 31 signed up for the water filtration/softener. I was given a one page work order and was left no copy. The installer showed up within 30 minutes. (Jody Woods). Terns Mobley wac the sales rep. 6 hour later the unit was not installed . It is now the 16th of Jan and it still is not working or installed correctly . Trena has been over three times, the installer 5. I checked I called Cliff Lott (owner) never got a retuned call. He sent trena over. After all this mess, I spoke to the finance company I spec in Florida and informed the I would not be paying them a dime. I was not given any paperwork , work order or anything. This is grounds for cancellation of the agreement and the ability to return the equipment without penalty because it is in violation of the state of Texas business and commerce code section 601. I called the chief building inspector for Killeen Tx and was informed that they are not registered to preform any work in Killeen and have not been for a long time. They also don't tell you as a home owner you need a permit for the install or you can be fined for a code violation as it is the home owners responsibility to apply for and obtain it. I sent both CWS and inspect certified letters citing the situation as awell as the close sections because this is all about giving the purchaser copies of paperwork advising them of the federal 3 day remorse cancel law and the ability to make that decision. They will promise the world but don't answer calls, they will charge $150.00 per service call, and will charge you $6,500 or $7,500 your choice. They tell you life time warranty but it is a lie. You need the original purchase order to use it but there is no one to call. They are a scam!!!!!! The finance company called me back and they are sending a dispute form out to me to return. There is really no dispute, I'm not paying them. I called for the company to come and get their equipment and put my plumbing as they found it. No return call. I'm having a real plumber remove it and then I might sue CWS in small claims for my money back. After 20 days for the notice date I gave them the equipment is mine to keep or dispose of, my choice. You call and you will have someone answer who is in a call center and they will say that they must be out of their desk and we will take a message and they will call you back right away. By far the worst company I have had to do business with. 1. Installed the system with no city permit. The city found out because I was having problems with the system and threaten me they were going to rip it out because there was no permit ever done. They submitted a permit 12 months after and the city voided it calling the permit no good. 2. They sent out a contractor who showed up and dug two hole in my yard, never finding the pipes to test them. Contractor says he would show up next week with the guys who installed it and never showed. 3. Sent out the same contractor to fix the system that was never fixed and the contractor never showed up again. 4. I called the company and it always goes to an answering service to talk to a manager and tell them what is going on. I got a call back from the contractor saying he was coming to fix my problem. I told the contractor not to bother showing up at my house ever and to call who was sending him out and have them contact me. 5. Spoke to a supervisor who said they would be coming out to fixed the system and install a new line after 3 more calls in to the company. Instead they sent out some disrespectful workers who told me they were going to disconnect my system and leave. The worker never ran a single test, touched anything and he said was up to me to fix anything else. We are here to prove to you it is not the system. My response was that is not what your supervisor said, and the worker started arguing again about how it was not the system. The very same system that he never installed or even checked out. The worker then said again it was up to me to fix the problem that they were going to disconnect the system and that I needed to get the problem fixed and to call them back when I wanted it reconnected. I then told the workers yall were not called to prove anything to be but yet to identify and fix a problem that your company has failed to for months. The one worker felt compelled to argue again. They were told to get the F@#% of my property. I then called their boss who then took till the next day to get back with me. They failed to disclose their system will only clear 9-10 gallons per min. Per code, pending the size of your home, your homes demand a lot more water than their softener will soften. Per the code my 2 1/2 bath home is rated at 19 gallons per min. This is why I can not keep up the pressure and I have had to replace my shower heads already in a 12 month period. Later that day, a man named Donald came by from Culligan and once I told him I spoke to someone before from Century water he proceeded to tell me that they were a company named Classic Water. I checked with the state and found out that Classic Water was bought out by Century Water by a different owner and a different location. I did my homework and discovered that Trena from Century was telling me accurate information and Donald from Culligan fed me lies. This company installed a water treatment system in our home. They immediately turned the "loan" over to ISPC to manage the collection. ISPC charges $25 monthly for finance charges PLUS 18% interest, making it impossible for us to pay off the debt as we now owe more than the original note. After multiple calls for them to come test our water after installation, we were ignored. Our water has never been tested after installation. ISPC put an immediate lien on our home which we were NEVER informed was going to happen. Century Water Solutions knew and never bothered to tell us. After my husband died, I was unable to make the payments for a couple of months until the finances were figured out. Now I am unable to refinance my home and stand in jeopardy of losing it because of these unethical and immoral companies. read more

Would I recommend this company, no. As far as the water purification unit, so far it's fine. However, I would NOT recommend the air system. First off, Trina was my sales person in which she was nice and I had no problems with her but that's the job of being a sales rep obviously. The main issue I'm having is the rediculous/drastic difference in cost that I was charged as opposed to neighbors and other individuals I have spoken with. Therefore I contacted the company to inquire about the price difference and I was told that some people "customers" just negotiate better and we're given a lower price. I also called to see if I could at the least turn the air purification system in because it clearly DOES NOT work because I'm still suffering from constant and regular asthma attacks and am sweeping up dust and what not 24/7. I just do not see the point in paying for a system that is clearly not working. I thought maybe it was just me but it's not. I have another relative that was coming to living with me whom was diagnosed with sarcoidosis therefore I figured the air system would make life a but easier for us, but it's not. So me being pregnant and struggling with my asthma issues and my relative with the asthma and sarcoidosis sucks. Now I also tried to give the benefit of the doubt and just concluded that our ailments were just horrible, but that's not true. I went to Sears and purchased a portable air purifier system and when we turn it on and let it run for a while in the rooms we're in, we notice a drastic difference. So I can only conclude that the air system I was sold is full of crap. I also contacted the company to get someone out asap to check the system for proper functioning and performance and literally every single time I call I never get to speak to someone from the actual company, it's ALWAYS the call center. My appointment was scheduled for Saturday from 10-12 but when I finally recieved a call back from the company they stated that they wouldn't come out til the following Saturday. I am beyond fed up with this company, the price I'm paying, and the integrity. Oh and one more thing, my husband purchased the system for me back in September before he deployed and we were told about the year supply of free product and it is now the end of January and numerous phones calls later I finally got the "email" that should lead me to the free product. Now if I'm reading the email properly, it says the product is at a discounted rate so I'm hoping that when I log in the verbage is different and the product is free. I asked the company about just returning everything and I was told no. So for now I will just give my honest opinion of being an actual customer and say that although the water product works, the company sucks, and the air system sucks, and the customer service sucks....you could easily get the system elsewhere in order to have clean water and be satisfied. I will not recommend any of my friends or family to utilize this company. There are plenty of people I know in my unit on ft hood that live in this area or are looking to move in this area and the first thing I tell them is to not utilize century water solutions or the guy that sales the $3-4,000 Kirby vacuum system. read more
