The Westport Playhouse is located in the Westport area, where there's plenty of entertainment and food to enjoy. It's a small, intimate venue that holds just the right amount of people, that it's not overcrowded. There's no food to order at the venue itself, but there's restaurants to enjoy before or after the show. However, right outside of the venue is a bar that you can order drinks and bring into the venue. To sum it all up, I'll definitely go back to the Westport Playhouse for other shows that are offered, such as comedy, musicals, and tributes. If you're looking for a not so crowded night out with your friends or family, check out the shows that they have to offer.

Parking is a little difficult due to a small lot, but I was able to snag street parking around the corner which worked out just fine. I sat in the front row and had a great view. The seats were pretty comfortable and the patrons were respectful apart for some errant ringtones throughout the show. I treated myself to a signature cocktail during intermission which was a little too sweet (and expensive at $13 + tip) but also flavorful and refreshing as a dessert type drink. For the 2025 season, they are offering a discount on tickets with the code Explore50, making tickets for any of their productions $50 (inclusive of service charges). Unless you're a student or senior, this is the best ticket price you can find. It also allows you to sit anywhere so treat yourself and sit in the front row to admire Mr. Darcy you can!

The recitals are in the middle of the week, which is not convenient for most people or friends and family traveling to see the recitals. What use to be a good studio, has sadly become awful. Alot of the good teachers are gone and the place is going downhill fast. The atmosphere with the older students is not good, "mean girl" behavior and the teachers turn a blind eye (and at times participate and encourage the bullying behavior). If dancing on a high school dance team is in your future DO NOT GO HERE! They penalize and outcast any students who are affiliated with their school teams. Put this place on the bottom of your list, or just avoid it completely. Very unfortunate how bad this studio has gotten.

I was shocked by how rude the teachers are, the classes are way too full and when I expressed my concern about a teacher yelling at a 3-yr-old (not my child), the owners, Tracy and Debbie responded so rudely and condescendingly, I immediately pulled my child out of PAC (without requesting a refund even though I had paid for the entire month and the recital costume). Yes, it is that bad. If you wait in the crowded hallway while your child dances, all you will hear are the parents complaining about the prices, services and bad attitudes of the management and teachers. Many parents stated they were currently looking for other dance studios. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

They are super friendly and welcoming. We have two girls, ages 7 and 9. One is taking Guitar lessons and the other Drama, 30 minutes a session, one-on-one with their teachers. Both of their teachers are fabulous and both girls look forward to Saturdays just because of this. I really feel they are both learning a lot, have more confidence and enjoy having a creative outlet. It is unbelievable what art, music and self-expression can do for young children. I also wanted to mention that this place is probably half the price of what you would pay for other private lessons. We plan on being with Rhythm for years to come!
