I purchased a car today at Zipstar Auto Sales and I am super happy with my purchase. From the no pressure sales to the knowledge of the sales staff. I saw the car online this morning and read the reviews of the car and the dealer and decided to take a test drive. I sent an email early this morning and Phil responded promptly to my inquiry. I went for a test drive BY MYSELF, this doesn't always happen at dealers and its refreshing to be able to concentrate on the drive and handling of a car without a salesman in the back seat yakking at you! I brought the car back still undecided, Phil said if I wanted to take it for a longer test drive, just go ahead and go again. He pulled up the Carfax and we reviewed the car history. I said I would think about it some. I personally have to over analyze every major purchase I make. He said no worries call me if you decide you want it. There was no I have 3 other people waiting for it, no slick car sales man speech which as a business women I appreciated very much. My husband was with me for just support as the decisions were mine and Phil talked to ME not my husband, as a women I appreciated that. I called a couple hours later and said if still available I was on my way back. Car and paperwork were ready when I arrived, they did offer their own in house warranty plan but I declined, no forced sell on it either. I recently bought a car, using a trade-in, from Zipstar Auto in Lynnwood. I did a lot of research on the car I wanted, prior to traveling from Seattle to Lynnwood. I also spoke with the owner about my trade-in prior to driving there. He was totally honest about what he would give me on my trade-in, and what the car that I was going to acquire would cost. While there was no negotiating (which to me is a positive as most of us are not use to haggling), based on my research, the purchase price of the car was definitely on the low side (but reasonable based on the deferred maintenance required) , and the trade-in value given to me, although not what I initially wanted, was in retrospect, fair (he did increase it marginally). They also generously waived a $300 fee. So I would summarize my experience by saying that I got a great car that I love, at a low (if not very reasonable) price, without haggling and "all cards were face up". These guys are great! very low pressure sales, decent prices for their vehicles, and do all they can to make you feel comfortable in the buying process. I used the credit app. on their website to get the ball rolling and everything was approved the next morning, so I flew from Spokane to Seattle, made my way to their lot where I was greeted like we've been friends for years! The car was in better shape than I could see in the photos, and runs great! took a little test drive and super pleased. I found a car on Facebook and it was with zipstar. I called and talked with Phil. Super nice and friendly. I live in Missoula MT. I made arrangements with Phil to look at it. Got there and Phil handed me the keys and said take it for a test drive. I did alone which was nice. Bought the car and I think I was out of there in like 30 mins. I had some paper issues trying to title it due to covid and the DMV not looking at all papers I sent them.. Phil was more then willing to help with getting them what they wanted.. I traveled 4 hours to buy a car because it was a good deal. When it was time to pay there was a new surprise fee. I was overcharged on tax according to the local tax and licensing office. When I asked about the tax and fee, the owner said you're free to walk away. I felt I was taken advantage of being that I already took the time to travel.
