Is the best service, they always give us the best advice, and we always get the best return .

When this tax service started and still new they use to be good, but now they've gotten big, it started to ask for $35 deposit and it is required once you booked an appointment. Not only that, even if you have booked for an appointment, the scheduled time will not be followed and you will have to wait for 45mins. Minimum wait, this is with an appointment scheduled. I'm not sure why we are scheduled for an appointment time, where in it is no use if the scheduled appointment time is not followed. The fee for the service is not competitive as well, there are other tax service that you can go to that charges only for $100-150 that would not allow you to wait for 45mins-1hour. I would not recommend this place to do the tax service. I was not planning to do our tax service this year because last year, we have an appt too and I've cancelled it due to the scheduled appointment time was not followed. It is unfair to make the customers wait, customers have also plans to do with a scheduled time. Time is gold. We went here again because my husband suggested this place again. By next year we will not go here anymore.right now there are 3 couples waiting in line and waiting doesn't look good. The Serb doesn't know the meaning and importance of "appointment ". Take note not to buy their advertisements of buy $50 for $75, when I presented this to them Ramon said it not valid anymore because it is link with their old company. I've been doing my taxes with this company for over 10 years and have watched it grow. Yes it has changed. That's normal people - every business that grows has to go through changes - it's about perspective! So let me break it down for y'all (cuz some of these reviewers are hilariously delusional) lol - and @YELP - SHAME ON YOU for deleting the good ones! Yeah I know you guys be doing that cuz you want business to pay you (but that's a shady business model!!). Service: This is a small business, mom/pop kinda shop. They're friendly, they'll get to know you by first name basis over time. But they do deserve the right to refuse customers - especially the annoying and shady ones, which I've seen a few walk in all crazy yelling like they're at the park and not an office. Like yo' you messing with my vibe right now. Nope, not today. Schedule: Open every day during tax season!! They work long hours too. Idk how they do it with people back to back, like do they even have time to eat? So there's been times where I'm like you can take a break before we start my taxes, cuz it's gonna be a while here lol. Appointments: Before they used to do walk-ins and now appointment-based. Yes there's a wait time, but that's because you can't really anticipate how many forms the person is gonna bring in. So TLDR - plan ahead, how much time you think you'll need (so that you don't create a backlog for other people). For example each year I filed a simple form, then I bought a house and stopped doing my taxes for 3 yrs. Let's be real - they're not gonna finish 3 years of taxes in one hour! And now I had gone from a simple to a long form -- I didn't have all my paperwork ready cuz I didn't know all that I needed. Also I can't walk in there with all my receipts and expect them to add up everything for me (that's an accounting and bookkeeping service that you have to pay for). Needless to say, I had to book multiple long/hr+ appointments. Pricing: 120-180 simple form I think? And long form or corporate - depends on how many schedules you have. Honestly I think their pricing is fantastic and LOW! Cuz H&R Block charged me $350 for a simple form one year, and like whoa (then their office was poooff gone the next year). I've filed corp taxes too in the past elsewhere and let me tell you, it ain't cheap. But this place was really affordable. From a business perspective I think their pricing is TOO low compared to caucAsian tax and accounting firms -- but they wanna keep loyal to their customer base (who are low/med income level), so they keep their prices in a competitive range. When I heard that, it hit me. They're not just a business, they're an example of how we can UPLIFT our communities. They spread Knowledge, they help people even read letters (cuz their kids refuse to do that for them), they help people file Itins man so they can be abiding residents. Man, look at the positives!! Let's support small local business; support your peeps! $35 deposit for Appt. I asked them why this policy? And was told because people had a tendency to walk in "to get their taxes done" then when they were finally completed - the person would look at their refund and be like "nah I want more money, imma go somewhere else." And the preparer just spent an hour in you!!! Making all their other clients wait!! Only for you to walk out and not pay them for their work/time?? So that deposit is basically an advance for their work (to prevent said scenarios). They're a business, their time is value too, just like clients' time. Honestly, good on them for setting these guardrails - cuz it also helps weed out shady folks. Delusional clients: You can't go in there like "how much money can you get me?" And be adding shady stuff here and there to get more money. And then when YOU spent it and the irs audits to you - you can't expect the preparer to pay it back for you . YOU spent it. You're responsible for checking your taxes too, you signed and said all was true. I know it's my responsibility to be ready with me docs and report what is true! The tax preparer is there to tell you the new laws, to help explain how/what applies to you, and ultimately help you file. But you're responsible, they're your taxes bro. read more

I personally completed most of my corporate 1120 return. I left copies of my return and ask them to also call me about completing my 1040. I also ask the receptionist to let me know if they can review my corporate return for errors and I would pay them. I received a call back informing me that the 1120S corporate return was completely incorrect due to schedules missing. I asked which schedules, and she did not have an answer. They wanted to basically copy my return and charge me $450. I found another tax accountant. Their company said the corporate return was correct, and they completed my 1040 for $125. Don't use this company. Don't let the big building fool you. They will rip you off read more

They get one star since I can't do 0. I had been going here since 2013. Me and my husband were audited for our 2017 taxes and had to pay what we got back for that year because apparently you can only claim school credit for so many years and we had exceeded that. We got our first letter the beginning of 2019. This should had been something our tax preparer should had known at the time he filed. So when I called to ask them how to go about fixing this, this girl named Alicia said all we need to do is send all proof of us going to school and our expenses. We sent that ourselves right away and received another notice from the IRS stating that we still owe everything back. So I called and spoke to Alicia again and she was giving me a hard time and saying thats all they can do to help and was be rude so I asked to speak to Ramon, and she kept saying no and hung up on me and then wouldn't answer when I tried calling back. Finally when she answered she said they can do an amendment but I would have to pay for it. I scheduled the appointment to do so and let Ramon know the conflict I had with his sister Alicia and he ignored it. So then I stated we shouldn't have to pay for the amendment since it was his fault. He agreed he was at fault and did not make us pay for the amendment. After doing so he asked us to let him know when we receive a letter back from the IRS. He sent the amendment December 2019 and we recently got a reply August 17, 2020. I saw him today August 27. He looked over our account and told me what the letter I received said and how much I owe. I told him I know that I read it but as we both agreed before this was your fault and you should be paying this back. He said he wasn't the one who received the money so why should he have to pay it. And I said you understand that you are the one that did our taxes, and the one who basically okayed the IRS to send us this money. And he still stated he didn't receive the money, we did. And then he said I can get an attorney if I want but the judge will only make him pay interest. He was rude about it and I walked out and that was that. Unbelievable.. we're supposed to trust our tax preparers.. how was I supposed to know he did our taxes wrong? And his sister Alicia is just the absolute worst. read more
