We marked our calendars to come back for the haunted tour. Dr. Hawk takes it a bit serious for me, I was asked/told to stop talking twice (I was whispering with my cousin while masked, it was not loud). It is clear that Dr. Hawk expected everyone to sit and listen attentively to her for the full tour, I am an adult and paid for the experience as things come up I think it should be ok to quietly talk to my companion. The cemetery visits were very interesting, some good info/stories and that was fun. I believe that there is something out there but not sure how much in ghosts and some of the ghost hunting equipment and trying to talk to the spirits was a little out there for me, others seemed to enjoy it, and it was only a smaller portion of the tour. The covid practices were very good, hand sanitizer as you enter the trolley, masks covering nose and mouth. Hoped for some more stories and a little less ghost hunting. Entertaining unique night out

We decided after a 6 mile hike to stop by. Well had no idea you needed reservations, so when we showed up their 3:00 pm pizza and musical event was just beginning. We got lucky because they only had a few open slots, so we banned one. We also got super LUCKY because we were the first ones inside the bar area, met the owners and had a flight of tastings. Everything was beautiful, yummy, perfect! If you are looking for a place to unwind and partake in organic, wholesome beverages, pizza and other delights, than look no further. Shop local. Hang local. Embrace local. Did I mention the sculptures and art work as well as the eclectic decor and unique vibe this place possesses... well, it does! We spent an unforgettable 10 days hiking the (express!) Inca trail to Machu Picchu and visiting Lima, The Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes and Cusco. I could write 10 pages about how much we loved traveling with Knowmad so I'll try to stick to the highlights. My husband and I usually handle all of our own travel planning, but when we came across Knowmad while researching how to visit Machu Picchu we realized we would probably get a lot more out of a trip to Peru traveling with specialists from the country. This was 1000% true and working with Knowmad made planning our trip so easy and fun. Our travel specialists Renee and Shannon found a way for us to do everything we wanted to do (and so much more!) while staying within our budget. They were remarkably thorough with answering my countless questions and we could not have been more prepared for our visit, with very minimal effort on our end. Once we met up with our Knowmad guide, Fernando, in Cusco every day of our trip was amazing and we learned so much about the Inca culture and the Andes while having a ton of fun and going at our own pace. By the time we made it to Machu Picchu it was so much more meaningful because we had an understanding of what makes it such a special and mystical site. The Inca trail was absolutely breathtaking (and I'm not talking about the altitude ) and we couldn't have done it without Fernando as our fearless guide. He looked out for us every step of the way and made us feel like family throughout our time with him. Our trip wouldn't have been nearly so memorable without him. Another highlight was our e-bike ride through the Sacred Valley with our awesome guide Kirvi, who was so kind and on top of making sure we were safe and even getting some awesome photos and videos along the way. Our driver Abraham made us feel so welcome and kept us moving along and safe throughout our trip. The restaurants and hotels Knowmad arranged for us were excellent, and our picnic in the Sacred Valley and Pachamanca experience were unbelievable. We reserved a Christmas lights limo tour for December 20, 2025. We paid $639.99. The driver picked…read moreus up as planned, but the vehicle had electrical problems. There was no heat, no way to talk to the driver, no radio/audio. The windows were frosted over so you couldn't see outside. We called the driver on our cell phone. He pulled over on Highway 10 to speak to us. He got out of the cab and came back to talk with us - on the side of a highway. This was an unsafe situation. He told us he had to manually press a button in the cab for the electrical to work. He said it was getting difficult to hold button and we later found out the button was behind him, at an awkward angle. This also seemed to be unsafe. We drove to their garage where they attempted to fix the problem. They were unable to resolve the problem so they returned us home with the promise of a refund since we did not get our Christmas lights tour. I have contacted Matt by phone three times with promises of a refund, but there has been no follow-through on their end. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they also did not receive any response from Matt after their two attempts. Unsafe and poor customer service. It's not too late to make this right, Matt.
