I went to this ER several months ago with severe upper abdominal pain that was intense enough to seek emergency care. Throughout my visit, I felt like my concerns weren't taken seriously. I was repeatedly asked if I was on my period or pregnant, even after answering those questions, and I felt like my symptoms were being dismissed. At one point, I heard staff laughing in the hallway, and although I can't know what they were laughing about, it made me feel embarrassed and like I wasn't being taken seriously during a very painful experience. I was told it was likely gastritis and was referred to a GI specialist. Despite following those recommendations, my symptoms continued. I recently sought care at another hospital, where doctors found significantly elevated liver enzymes and are now treating me for gallbladder disease with a possible bile duct blockage. I'm scheduled to have my gallbladder removed. I understand that abdominal pain can have many causes, and not every diagnosis is obvious at first. However, I left feeling dismissed instead of cared for. I hope this ER works on listening to patients' concerns and communicating with more compassion, especially when someone is in severe pain. read more

I went in to get a Covid test. The nurse administered a Covid test and a Strep test. That's it. Nothing more. The total bill was $6,558. That's Six THOUSAND Five Hundred Fifty Eight Dollars. Our insurance only paid a small fraction of that amount BECAUSE THE AMOUNT WAS NOT REASONABLE. I agree. read more

I went to this clinic/ER several times in the past year. Every single time I've been there they have been very helpful and friendly. They haven't always told me what I wanted to hear, but always what I needed to hear which I'm greatly grateful for. Dr. Shepard genuinely cares about his patients concerns and requests! I would go here 10 out of 10 times!!! My only complaint is the amount of paper work needed to be completed before being seen. As expected though!!! Thank you all! read more

I took my wife here for a rapid antigen Covid test for her job in early January 2022. The people were fine overall, but it took almost an hour to get her results instead of the 15 minutes promised. But that's not the problem. So far they have billed our insurance over $6000 for a single rapid antigen test. That's it, nothing else. A test we paid out of pocket $179 (we didn't have insurance then) at MD Family Clinic in east Fort Worth. There is some really sketchy stuff going on here. One bill for almost $1900, then $4450 a few days ago, of which our insurance paid $891. We've never been billed anything but its absolutely outrageous what they are trying to get from our insurance company. We're going to contact our insurance after Memorial Day to let them know why we were there and find out what they are actually being billed for. read more

Beware of this fraudulent company. They treated my client for 45 minutes in thier "emergency center" in Ft Worth and then hit him with a fraudulent bill of $31,500.59. United Healthcare said it was a "surprise billing" but Exceptional Emergency Center is refusing to accept the amount that United shows they are owed. This company is crooked and evil and they will screw you severely on their bill. They are grossly overcharging everyone. Beware of this bad company. Do not go here for emergency treatment. Super unfriendly front desk staff! Not sure if someone was having a bad day or what. Nurses and doctors assume your pain and treat you as if you're nobody if they feel that you aren't important enough. If I could've given them a ZERO I would've. Brought my friend here with elevated BP, flush face and dizziness. They left him in the waiting room for 45 minutes before FINALLY saying he had a co-pay. SERIOUSLY?? The lack of consideration and care when someone comes in at midnight scared they're having a heart attack is absurd! Not to mention you're paying ridiculously inflated prices all in the HOPES the wait will be less than that at the REAL ER. When we were taken back there was literally no one else there, not one single other patient. They told us they were waiting for an open bed and there were SEVERAL. The doctor acted as if he could care less. The nurse, or whatever she was smelled like cigarettes and couldn't stop talking about the CEO. I guess she wanted to make sure we knew he had ZERO medical background and was clues about how these types of facilities were supposed to be run. So of course I asked her ... then why do you work here??? Go anywhere else but here. Because instead of treating you they'll make you wait, tell you what's wrong with the place and act like they want to be anywhere but here, helping the patient. FREAKING RIDICULOUS!! read more

The doctor that saw me listened very well and was very nice to me. However, when I got there seeking treatment for my Covid symptoms the woman at the front desk breathe deep sigh like She didn't want me there. Not to mention as well, they charged me $10,000 for me being there an hour. All I got was a prescription for cough medicine and an x-ray of my lungs. Does that sound like $10,000 worth of charges to you? I don't think so. Avoid exceptional emergency Center if you don't want ridiculous prices. read more

Checked my insurance and they charged my insurance $500. Nothing out of pocket for me but I just don't think this is ethical. I would only use this place when you have to get same day results since they are the only place besides hospitals that do this. read more

If I could give a 0, I would. I went in your establishment on 12/18/22 after speaking with my doctor due to an allergic reaction with a body rash, hives and swelling of my tongue with breathing issues. I told the person at the front desk about all this. I was given a clipboard and asked to fill out paperwork, no sense of urgency for myself, just forms. She did not call anyone to assist me. As I was trying to complete the forms, my symptoms became worse, breathing was more difficult as well. I then decided to leave and go to CareNow a few blocks away. But when I gave her the forms and told her what's was happening and how my symptoms were getting worse. She did not respond accordingly, but with an ok. I then left and went to CareNow they saw me immediately and thank good they did my breathing was causing more issues by this time. I could have died because I have severe allergies. Your organization must do better and care for those coming through your doors. Your organization must do better read more

This place is a joke!!! I had a physician from another state to confirm that they would see me for a CAT SCAN, but staff refused once I arrived, and WHEN the person finally came out, he began asking personal questions, which the nurse or front desk person had already done!!! I realize that we are living in uncertain times, but do NOT count the employees at this facility as caring healthcare professionals, because, they proved just how little they plan on assisting during this pandemic!!! If they are SO AFRAID & UNPREPARED, then go into another profession!!! Y'all suck!!! read more

Wonderful experience (minus being sick). Everything went smoothly from check-in to seeing the DR. Very minimal wait time. You can make an appt online and fill out your registration forms if you prefer. The front desk lady was very friendly and efficient. The nurse, crystal, was a pleasure as well. She was very informative, thorough and pleasant. The doctor took his time explaining everything in detail and made sure to not do unnecessary testing. I have very bad anxiety and was never talked down to or made to feel embarrassed. The doctor made me feel like I played an active role in my health plan. This is the best ER/Urgent care type health experiences I've had. The people working here are very good at their job and very pleasant to deal with. That eases the experience especially when you're dealing with them on a day you feel so poorly. read more

I am not one to usually write a review, but this need one. My husband manages a local discount tire and found out that one of his employees tested positive for covid. The company policy was to shut down the store, get it cleaned and send all employees for the rapid covid test. We told them it would be about 20-25 employees. We were told 2-3 hours and 15 mins to get results. Upon our arrival around 1:45 pm we filled out his paperwork and when we went to turn it in the lady at the desk said nothing so we had to ask her "is that it" and "How would we know when we are called?" There was no communication at all and no customer service. Things were running very slowing and then began to stop moving and they were only calling back 1 person about every hour and then it was taking about an hour to get results once swabbed. My husband's boss asked after about 2.5 hours how much longer and they told him after entering his paperwork he only showed in the system 20 minutes. After being there for 4 hours I asked where he was and they had stated he had 10 ahead of him. That was not accurate due to who we knew was left that had not been seen. So when I asked who was left they refreshed the screen then said he was 7th on the list. I work in emergency healthcare as well and know that anyone coming in that is emergent would have gotten pushed ahead of course before our guys, but since we were not allowed inside the building we were seeing everyone coming and going and there was no one new coming in other than a few more people for the covid test. All the guys began to get hungry and restless due to now being there over 6 hours. One guy began to play music in their car and entertain himself. The employee instead of coming out and asking to turn down the music threatened to call the cops. I understand it is a business and this should not have been done but to come out and immediately go to that extreme and that tone of voice was uncalled for, the employees didn't ask to be there they had no choice and had to have this test to return to work. 830 pm came along and again things were still moving super slowly I went in to ask where my husband was on the list. I had waited awhile since I knew shift change happened and wanted to give the shifts time to pass on and gather their day. When approaching the desk the ladies sitting their seemed very annoyed and frustrated before I even said anything. I explained to them how we had been there since 145 pm and it was now 8:30pm. They said they just got there and didn't know what was going on. I told them that was not an excuse to be there almost 8 hours and still not be seen for a swab, especially when the facility was called way ahead of time and given notice. They told me they could not tell me where we were on the list and was very rude not making eye contact at all. It seemed as though the 1st shift already gave them a bad taste of us and it was felt when I approached just by their looks and actions. She Finally said he was was of the next to go back. I explained to the 2 ladies sitting at the desk that he had one person in front of him and that is how things had been all day they were going out of order all day and it should be based on when everyone got there for the guys. At that time the nurse called my husband's last name and I explained to her he was not next at all, she was also rude saying I don't know this is what I have. I told her hold on all guys are outside and went and told my husband he was being called and told the other guy sorry that we going before him. My husband got his test done and we finally left there at 930pm. We were there for 8 hours. We were even thinking with it being a business and having heads up early in the morning they would have had some more organization or maybe called someone in to take care of it. The nurses reason to my husband was they normally only do 5 rapid tests a day and we bombarded them. I think we all would have been ok if we could have had some communication and more customer service. read more

I am not one to usually complain, but this is not okay. I came here to get rapid testing after being told I had to for work. I got here at 5:30pm. It is currently 9:30pm. At 8pm I asked where I was on the list, the receptionist said I was next. After an hour at 9pm I ask again. She said I was number 15 on the list and it's going to be around 4 hours because they are only doing 4 tests per hour..... So 7 hours to be tested? I question her how I moved from number 1 to number 15 and she I'm not sure what you want me to tell you. Completely unacceptable in my opinion. My coworker came here 20 mins before me and left 2 hours ago around 7:30. Seeing people pull in and check in after me and leave before me being seen. Something isn't right. Around 10:30pm I asked how much long and she said another hour. I told them to take me off the list and went to a different coincidence For having to pay ER pricing, don't waste your money and go to the real ER. Do not waste your time here. The staff do not care and have no communication of to what's going on. read more
