ZERO STARS! Trust the bad reviews, poorly run service. Had a reservation for airport shuttle set up early in the morning. Received a text the night before that they'd be there to pick us up on time, confirming my requested service. The pick up time came and no ExecuCar driver arrived. Talked to dispatch and they said the driver over slept and going to be up to 30 mins late. Oops! By that time we were behind schedule and in danger of missing our flight, so we had to quickly load up our own car and drive ourselves to the airport and then paid for airport parking for 10 days. This cost me 2x the cost I was prepared to pay Execucar/super Shuttle. They refunded me but the damage is done. Never again! read more

"Will call" service means reporting to the desk when you arrive, and then waiting up to 30 minutes for your car to arrive. I dont get the point. I use a town car service less because it's a nicer car and more because it is more timely. On my last trip, I was tired of waiting, especially since I could see the row of taxi's ready to take me home. So after 25 minutes, I called them to cancel my reservation and request a refund. They called me back after a few days to tell me they were unwilling to give me a refund. I will skip ExecuCar from now on and find something more reliable and prompt. read more

Totally disappointed in this company and their service. I would not recommend using them. They market a package they do not provide. I purchased a package which came out to be $272.50. This was for a meet and greet that included a sign with our last names and a welcome lei. We were traveling to Hawaii for a wedding and we just got engaged so we wanted to make it special. Execucar partners with SpeediShuttle, that is the company that arranged our transportation when we arrived. We landed and there was no one greeting us, no sign and no lei. They told us to wait at the curb and they would call a car. It was a BMW, that was it. I wanted a refund and called and emailed relentlessly with 0 response. I finally called and spoke to a live persona nd they put in a claim and never got back to me or refunded my money. Awful! Do not use! read more

At LAX this is a phoney baloney service, trading on the old ExecuCar name. They farm out pick-ups to other even more unreliable contractors. Useless app. Driver that was assigned us never showed up. He refused to answer calls or texts. Calls to ExecuCar were put on hold. A service disaster that I have fully documented. Go with Uber. Uber is faster, cheaper and more responsive and responsible. read more

Poor customer service exacerbated what could have been a relatively minor and easily rectified problem had it been addressed properly. Arranged for a car service for my mother who arrived at SMF slightly ahead of schedule. This normally wouldn't be an issue with a reputable car service with dispatchers who monitor incoming flights and driver locations, however upon arrival, there was no driver or greeter to meet her. After 10 minutes of searching for the driver, she called me to confirm that there was supposed to be a car waiting for her at which time I called the emergency number which services all of ExecuCar and Supershuttle, and 5 more minutes of navigating the computerized menu and holding, finally got a hold of a dispatcher who gave a glib apology and promises to look into the matter and call back. 10 more minutes pass before the dispatcher calls back and reports that the driver is having car problems and they can send another car but it'll take another 15 minutes before they can get there. This is where I'm really starting to get frustrated as the first question that pops into my head is what kind of drivers are ExecuCar hiring that doesn't immediately call dispatch as soon as a problem arises so alternative measures can be made to insure a customer isn't left waiting and second, that still doesn't excuse the fact that there wasn't a greeter to inform my mother of the delay and coordinate alternative transportation when meet and greet service was specifically requested instead of my having to call and deal with dispatch myself. Finally, why wasn't another driver and/or greeter immediately dispatched instead of waiting an additional 5 minutes to call me back and inform me that there's been a delay as any dispatcher with half a brain would do. Needless to say, I was already less than satisfied with the service when the dispatcher called me back to inform me that a space is available on the next super shuttle, and that their shuttle coordinator was now looking for my mother after I've already asked her to just take a cab. I expressed the desire for a credit for the trip when I'm told that dispatch doesn't have authority to issue credits and that I would have to speak with "quality assurance", at which point I was put on hold for an additional 10 minutes before I gave up, called dispatch back and assured them that quality has been far from assured and in fact, any assurance that I had was quickly evaporating as we spoke. Dispatch then assured me that they would get a hold of someone in "quality assurance" and put me through to them.... I'm still waiting. I've used them before and they're normally a decent car service, but with any company involving logistics, their true colors shine when there's a problem and their ability to either address it seamlessly behind the scenes or immediately communicate the issues and assure that the problem is being resolved. Unfortunately ExecuCar failed on every level and while the fact that they service so many cities that they've been my go to call for cities that I don't have preexisting accounts with, I'll definitely think twice about using them again for a real client who might not be a forgiving as my mother is. read more

I received a call from dispatch stating my driver was running 20 minutes late (excuse me?), but would still get us to the airport on time. Shortly after, the driver called saying he would be 6-10 minutes late, turned out he arrived 8 minutes late. I appreciated the communication (so giving Execucar a pass, this time). I was a little stressed at first, but Driver was kind, helpful (even picked up our bags from inside hotel lobby). He pointed out sights along the way which 'kinda' made up for tardiness. Nevertheless, I felt weird when he hung around for a tip...so I rewarded his kindness & helpfulness. Work on punctuality! Cheaper than Super Shuttle (3 passengers). read more

Prearranged 2 weeks prior for an executive SUV to take my Family to SJC from San Francisco. They decided to send a car. Late. At that point we felt compelled to take it. Of course the luggage didn't fit so the driver put it in the trunk and left the trunk open...all the way to San Jose. He said that's how they did it in Africa. He apologized and said they were supposed to have called us. They didn't. We sat on the rest of the luggage. Of course I was charged full price for an SUV. They promised to refund me...but changed their minds later. Well the next time I'm in Africa, at least I'll know what to do if my bags don't fit. And now I also know what to do in the USA...Take Uber. read more

I will never use execucar or supper shuttle again. The execucar company is NOT trustworthy. I contracted for a ride to SMF. That trip was not so bad. I asked the driver about our return trip and he said not to worry as he would make sure he was the one who would be picking us up. Upon our return, I had a text to check in with the super shuttle desk. I was told no car was available to take us home. We had been up from 4AM to get off our ship and to the airport for our flight. To get to Sacramento and be put into a taxi to get home was a large letdown. The taxi driver was tailgating other vehicles and from the sound of the car, I was not sure if we would even make it to Woodland. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT. Fantastic experience. Looking at the other four reviews, I can't help but wonder if this company has a different owner(s) now. Two bad reviews from 2011 and three from 2014. Anyway, I hired Execucar for a ride to and from the Sacramento airport. My girlfriend had planned a trip to Hawaii for my birthday and I wanted to make sure that we didn't have to stress driving to the airport and that we could also relax on the way home after a six hour flight. Worked out perfectly. Our drivers each time were both very polite, professional, and friendly (Michael & Michael H.). They both arrived early and loaded our bags into the car for us. I chose the towncar and it was clean and comfortable. One of my pieces of luggage didn't arrive when we returned home, and our driver patiently waited for about thirty minutes while I sorted it out with the airline. He didn't even charge us a fee for it, which I was surprised by. I really appreciated it considering how frustrated I already was with the airport. I researched reviews and prices for a number of driver services in the area, and I made the right choice going with Execucar. No complaints whatsoever, and they were the least expensive I could find. read more

Used them for my airport transfers for my trip down to SDCC. Both drivers (to/from SMF and to/from SAN) were early and called or texted to let me know they had arrived. Pickup and drop off were seamless with both drivers being personable and easy to chat with (important when airport is 45-60 min away). There are few things as stressful as being afraid you will miss an overseas flight. I hired Execucar to take us to the airport and pick us up on our return on 2 wks time. We had to bee picked up at 4:15 am and we are an hour from the airport. If he was late we were in trouble. He was 10 min early and we couldn't have asked for a nicer more courteous driver. He was a great driver and a calming influence as we were nervous. When we landed back at home I was concerned as I never got to call and confirm but our driver was at baggage claim and took us right to car to relax it had been a 23hr day from leaving to arriving in Sac. At 4:20am, 40 minutes before I was to be picked up, I received a garbled phone call from you, saying there was 'good news and bad news'. The towncar I paid for was unavailable and was replaced by an Econoline van. I expect a refund. The driver barely entered into my gated complex even though I had provided my apartment building and unit number; he waited just inside the gate and made no attempt to contact me. Rather, I called him to see if he was my driver. He didn't greet me or ask who I was, get out of the driver's seat, didn't open the door, didn't get my luggage. He was a terrible driver; kept driving on the freeway Botts dots. He started to make an effort to get up to assist me when we arrived at SMF, but by that point, I wanted to get out of the van and get on my way. We took a mini vacation to Las Vegas and flew out of SMF and back. I scheduled ExecuCar a few days prior. The day before the trip, I received a confirmation text that we were all set to go. On the morning of pick up, the driver, Victor, was prompt, friendly and courteous. The SUV he picked us up in was immaculate! Upon our return, John was already at the baggage claim/taxi pick-up area before I even called! Prompt again. He was also very friendly and courteous. This was our first time using ExecuCar. I can be a little cheap and usually looking to go the least expensive route. However, we were arriving late at night after a long day of travel so I decided to spoil my husband and end on a good note. Best decision I ever made! The driver was there and ready on time, helped with ALL our luggage (we had a lot incl golf case) and the vehicle was luxurious. Worth every penny!!! (although not that much more than shared ride). Our time and mental resources out weighed the small savings when you factor in multiple stops to get home. Last time it took an hour so the straight route in a large luxurious vehicle with a driver to handle lots of luggage was definitely worth it! I highly recommend ExecuCar at SuperShuttle!! read more

They cancelled my reservation because my flight was late. I would think most car services would track my flight especially since I porvided my flight number. I called customer service twice and was on hold 15 to 20 minutes each time. I ended up taking a cab after getting different stories from different people. Rude and not worth it. This review is for the last trip. We were gone for 10 days and it's cheaper to take ExecuCar than park. Both our drivers this time were terrific. They helped us with our bags, the driver to the airport was early and just let us know he was here and not to rush he would be waiting. When we were ready he helped us with the luggage to the car and of course loaded it including one very heavy checked bag. The drive was uneventful, which is to say perfect. The driver on the way home took our carry on bags out to the car while we waited for our checked bag, then came back in to take it out as well completely freeing us from lugging them around. He was very personable while we waited and very professional on the drive. When ExecuCar is one they are really terrific. I've had a few experiences that were not quite as good as this one but even those were not bad, just drivers who were not quite as helpful. I recommend ExecuCar as a great option in Sacramento. read more

Rides from and to Sacramento airport were great. About the same price as a cab or Uber, but private service in a suburban and a town car. Nice. Traffic back to the airport was bad on the freeway but driver knew her way through scenic back country and got us there in about the same time as it normally takes on an uncrowded freeway. Our driver Michael even held his cool in the airport when some fellow passengers mistook him for an airport employee and began complaining about our baggage being delayed. I reserved transportation for two different dates for a company executive from Sacramento airport to a conference/meeting and on BOTH of these occasions the service was poor. The first reservation, the driver was stuck in traffic and was running very late. You pay extra premium to ensure timing and excellent service. My boss had to be at the conference to present and ended up taking a cab after waiting a long time. On the second reservation, once getting off the flight he spoke with the driver and asked if he could stop to get a coffee on the way outside where they would meet, the driver responded with "okay hurry because I have to come back for another customer". Once my boss arrived and spoke with the driver he said that he was rude and rolling his eyes right in front of him. VERY POOR customer service. Don't overbook and then be rushing your customers. These are VIP's and I would expect your service to be excellent. Will not use this company again. read more

I made a reservation online for the ride to and from Sacramento airport (SMF). We have used ExecuCar services before and were always satisfied. This time around, I made a mistake and selected AM instead of PM on the reservation form. When I was away, I have received not one but two voice mail messages from the ExecuCar verifying the time - they noticed that the reservation was for 11:47 AM but the flight I listed arrived at 11:47 PM. How awesome is that? I called back and confirmed that they were correct and we needed to be picked up at 11:47 PM. We were impressed - until we got back to Sacramento - and no car was waiting. When I called the ExecuCar, the lady on the phone said that she had no record of anyone calling or any changes being made and that there was no car available in Sacramento to take us home. We took a cab home for $45. The price we were charged by ExecuCar for the trip from the airport was $56 (plus $10 tip). Tip for a Sacramento travelers: take a cab - save money, headache and time making the reservations online. read more

I booked an ExecuCar "meet & greet" to pickup my 88 year old mother at the Sacramento Airport on 7/17. Her flight was delayed out of Portland and when she arrived in Sac there was nobody there to greet her. I set this up to pamper her and also so someone would help her to the car with her luggage. She ended up dragging her bag to the Super Shuttle counter where they said that there was a mistake with the reservation and arranged for a van to take her home. All good, except my Visa was still dinged $72 for the "Black Car Meet & Greet". No black car, no greet and no meet! If I wanted her to climb into a van I would have been a cheap son and booked it for $24. Still waiting for resolution from Super Shuttle. I was told by SS that their limo drivers are independent contractors and bid for the rides, "so maybe nobody wanted to take the fare". I stated that my phone number was on the reservation and why didn't I get a call that there was a problem. I was told that "since they figured that I was the customer, and I was on a plane, that I wouldn't have been able to answer". Are you kidding me?! read more
