Nitty Gritty goes out of their way to ensure their salon is an LGBTQ+ safe space - there's specific information on waxing if you're transitioning, an ask for pronouns at the time of registration, and a truly welcoming atmosphere for all. I even emailed them before the appointment to fill out my forms and they were sent promptly. My actual session with Anne was so amazing. She asked if the pressure and temp were ok. In the end she asked if I had any questions and I told her she did this thing on my back where it felt like she was popping little jelly balls. She explained that's the myofascial and how it builds up and talked about the specific massage Ty does for that. I highly recommend and will be going back!
