When I called for pickup, I asked for a mini-SUV but was brought a huge Chevrolet Traverse (much larger than I needed). I was told I could switch to something smaller later, so I went back and was given a Jeep Compass that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The smell was unbearable, and the car didn't seem properly maintained, the engine have a hard time to speed up, and clearly needed attention. I called to ask for help and was told to "try again tomorrow." I called several other branches too, but no cars were available. It's frustrating to deal with this after a stressful accident, especially when Enterprise advertises "clean, well-maintained vehicles". I expected better quality and communication.

Once there (after my ride had left) this information was disclosed. I was told that they had 2 people in front of me and wouldn't have a car for me. Get all the way home and get a call that they will have a truck ready for me in 30 minutes. What happened to the 2 people in front of me? Just magically have a truck now that I am all the way back home. Go anywhere else, this wild goose chase and incompetent customer service will have you pulling out your hair.

I told Kevin I wanted to cancel, I wasn't comfortable driving that big of a car (and it was dirty.) I never got in the car. He said his boss was the only one that put the cancelation through. I asked for a written note saying I never took the car... he was on the phone with his boss who told Kevin not to give me the note. I called Thyrl Reed (Kevin's boss) and asked for a record of the cancelation. Thyrl said he would cancel when he got to his computer. This still has not happened 2 days later. They need to be stalking at night time when they're not around customers they have no business in that position. This location sits on Columbia Avenue deep into Franklin and is your standard Enterprise location. The process was fairly easy. They had our rental vehicle ready, inspected and clean. From entry to exit took us about 20 - 25 minutes. Service was friendly and helpful. They had everything together, so there were no delays, which was a nice surprise, especially on a busy work day morning. The location is clean and there were no major issues had.

After planning a fun rental, I find out that I can't get a car due to my insurance. Geico is a ~$43 billion dollar a year company and is somehow a no-go. I called a large rental company in Las Vegas and they assured me they rent to Geico holders daily. This company should have uploaded a note on their website on which insurance companies they accept and which ones they don't. Put a sour taste on my trip to Nashville for sure. Guess I'll have to get my next toy in Vegas.
