He was very laidback and extremely helpful. No pressure. Gave me the information I needed to make my decision. Did some other homework and called back. Joel was not available however his teammate,Adan, was able to seamlessly assist me with a test drive and other questions. I HATE buying a car. Nothing EVER pleasant about the experience. Well, Toyota of Deerfield changed that. I have a very good condition used vehicle in my driveway as a result of the experience I had. If you're looking...see Joel or Adan. It's worth the look. Not sure about the service department but too early to say in this journey. Great job Toyota of Deerfield!!!

But I had to tell my neighbors In the community.."Beware of this service department." They are very rude and not professional. If you want to know why. Or you can just take my word of advice. If your like myself I like to go to a dealership for OEM parts and bigger service than oil change and brake pads . Just go out to Coral Springs they are my go to now no problem out west it's a little out of the way. But well worth it... The service department will try to find things that are not needed and over charge you. On several occasions I had problems with that . I never dropped a bad review. Until I Got an estimate in writing. Water pump and timing belt. Thermostat. That 1000k mile routine service that stated in my owner's manual. Can seals , tension, pulley and new serpentine belt I just replaced with they call it a drive belt. They said they can't do the job without doing that. I mean these little things just started adding up . Basically telling me they can't take a serpentine belt off without breaking it. I should've just left at that moment but I was already there. I had the time off. I said let's just go ahead with move forward and just get done , quoted me $1300 1-1/2 months later . I came in the it was $1900 for the same service. I just shook my head and said well it needs to be done, pls make sure there is nothing else that needs to be done i did not even want to pay $1500 ( on line and other dealerships charge $1100 ) then they said 1/2 way through the process oh you need a $500 part ( that's was clearly in front ) if they even change lf the bracket . , Needless to say jump in the car 1 mile on the way home water coolant exploding from my engine off and towed back to the the shop . And again I said it's leaking oil real bad. The service manager insisted that it was my vehicle's leak. I said no.sir this leak is leaking 2 quarts in 4 minutes leak ( cam seals ) and they showed me the leak is not leaking anymore. I took a picture of it cause it was a quick look while it was a part. I looked at it further they said it was perfect. The leak was from something else. I need to replace something major and needless to say they forgot to put a spacer on my pulley. My timing belt jumped and ripped and didn't thank God it didn't break, but it was holding on by a thread! And then they finally admitted that it was their fault and they will fix it . ( the manager didn't get back with me forever. I had to go over to Corporate in Arizona to have him call him , And he said you have a problem with my son ? ) I said I don't know who your son is but I have a problem with your mechanics. Apparently his son is the manager of the service what a very expensive service job and night mare ( first of all I bring my truck in running like a sewing machine , they almost blew it up three times luckily, I watched it and drove really slow .) less then 10 mile total I Aaa towed it 2 times to my house and then to there shop . I could not believe they didn't want to even send a tow truck to pick it up. I would never trust that dealership for anything every time I go in there for Oil Change before that they told me I'd have to do brakes and such. I did my own Brake Pads. I told him didn't even look. Also they said I needed a new cabin air filter in my vehicle doesn't have a cabin air filter. It's just a very unpleasant experience, oil change I used to have done there . I had a very bad experience with the manger of the dealership and the service department manager ( he was adamant about my truck having an oil leak. Didn't even wanna look at it. He says oh it says here that you had an oil leak. ) you didn't even go outside to look at I said can you please just go out here and look at it one of the Service men looked at it I said oh yeah that's definitely not from any other leaking problems. Needless to say . I over paid for the Service and was just swept out under mat and turning me around . I had to go back 4 times and I never got a single response or a apology from the Manager only one service assistant manager said I apologize after I pointed out that they did not put my perfect running 4.7v8 back together, and all that time side of the road , my towing, thank goodness I had Aaa towing. And all the time with out my vehicle. They didn't even bother to wash there greasy hand prints off my suv . At this moment I just took my keys any prayed they did what I paid them for correctly. Oh no sticker with the mileage on the engine .,night mare

The best mechanics, the best front desk people and the best smell lol It's the only place I don't mind sitting and waiting because it always smells soooo good in here! They sell some decorative candles too so I think that's what it is. But apart from that, their prices are amazing, nothing compared to jiffy lube or any big name businesses like that. Here you get the family owned vibe, they truly treat you like family. They will build your profile so that every time you come in and give your phone number, they know who you are, they know your car, and you get points that accumulate and give you rewards! Also, you can sign up for text reminders so they'll let you know when you're getting close to needing service, an oil change for example! One time a rat went into the hood of my car and chewed the cover thing that covers the motor, they were the ones who found out what it was, they cleaned out the whole motor for me and ordered a new motor cover thing for me, everything was taken care of and I didn't have to worry. On the way home I called The Tire Place to find they were open until 6pm. Traffic was bad but I reached them at a little after 5:30. Polite, efficient and fast, they took my keys and in less an 20 minutes from arrival they had fixed my tire and got me on the road before 6pm. But the best part, and always from these guys, they charge me $15! That is not a typo - FIFTEEN BUCKS. These guys are just the best and ALL my tire needs will always go to them. They do other automotive work as well and I will give them first shot in any auto work. Just a great place & fabulous customer service. Use them.

I started the process online with all of them, which was a nightmare except for King Hyundai. I didn't know that when one responds to most car dealers online and enters their information requests, etc. that they might be dealing with a third party call center or a BDC (business development center) within the dealership that works with the sales team. But their job is to be vague and get the actual customer to the dealership. That wasn't the case with King Hyundai-Genesis. I received an email and a phone call from sales associate Bettina Clarke. She listened to me and responded with a number that beat both of the Hyundai dealerships I previously received quotes from. King Hyundai's lease price was better by $77 per month than Rick Case Hyundai and about $120 better than Coconut Creek Hyundai. My partner and I drove from Fort Lauderdale to Deerfield Beach on October 15 and met with Bettina, drove the actual car we wanted and met with sales manager Erik Slemon. Both Bettina and Erik demonstrated a level of professionalism that's pretty much unheard of or experienced at many dealerships. We didn't leave with the car that day. But after a few emails, texts and conversations with sales manager, Mr. Slemon, who was a gentleman and true professional, we took delivery of our new 2023 Hyundai Elantra SEL with the convenience package on Tuesday, October 18. If you're considering a Hyundai or Genesis, this is where you want to get one from!

    Update: Engine oil seeping out of Left rear and back where bolted together excessively. Not…read moreaddressed in estimate that I see. They assumed the car was not being taken care of. Last oil change was at NAPLETON'S IN WPB. Defective Engine is what it appears as - but engine not on their recall list. A problem is that it was given back to me with someone wiping off the seeping OIL. Very Disturbing!!! Added the estimate given to me - will add texts as well from that day. It was unfortunate that the dealership King Hyundai located in DEERFIELD BEACH, FL did not choose to find the real issue with the engine indicator light on and H for HOT - they gave the car back to me the very same exact way - very dangerous. I did take videos of the engine earlier that morning so I could see everything under the hood to try to see what was going on prior to being towed there - I simply took it for myself to see what might be wrong - could not see so early in the AM in the dark. They blamed the BATTERY that was under warranty - but not purchased from them. I had that replaced - it did NOT solve the problems of not starting, engine shaking, all lights on dashboard lighting up, key fob NOT being recognized even with a brand new cell battery, seeping/evaporating coolant - no visible LEAKS though - just smell it burning - alcohol smell, water evaporation condensation coming into the car that I have to sleep in, no air conditioner or radiator fan that had been taken into Napleton's WPB (not thorough in their diagnosis - quick - IN & OUT), etc.... Still experiencing the same issues - all about GREED - they are. Just wished to share what transpired - it did not go well. They gave me an estimate of over $8,234 ... padded with MEGA hours for the Technician (HIDDEN AS LABOR with each line item) .... I asked questions to the General Manager Mark Benne and Adrian the person who took the car in, but they chose to do a "take-away" instead because I did not AGREE or DECLINE or sign what they TEXTED ME immediately. I had only a small amount of money at that time - a little less then $400. My sister Heather who I did reach out to DIDN'T WISH TO HELP ME as usual.... So, I had to figure out what I could afford to fix. I am homeless - they were AWARE of that because of what took place with needing airfilled in one TIRE ONLY due to Wawa and Cumberlands MALFUNCTIONING MACHINES .... I am NOT employed at the moment. The Air needed in one Tire turned into a side show - so I spoke OUTLOUD... and they stopped hovering over me as the Technician kept letting me know EVERYTHING he thought was wrong - I did not give them permission to do anything other then fill the ONE TIRE..... it was very upsetting that day. I worked 11 weeks - let go on Aug 29, 2025 - that was a Gift to be released from being bullied every single day. The dealer did kindly give me a free diagnostic though even though I agreed to the $335 diagnostic to be used on any repairs I chose but, they gave it back to me and LIED ... I know I have power train warranty issues, no working A/C since I had it repaired in Sept 2024 at Napleton's Hyundai in WPB, leaking engine oil issues (visible), etc...The Service Manager Shaun Powell .... class a jerk... bullied a woman. He did not reply to my initial email. I guess to make fun & ridicule a person that has always lived a LIFE OF INTEGRITY ....makes them feel superior .. such a travesty! I only stopped in there a few days earlier to have air filled in ONE TIRE that seems to give me problems ... I tried to fill it myself but the UNIVERSE had other ideas. Still owe $3900 on my 2018 ..... screwed over by Delray Acura in a Lease Buyout in Jan 2021 after being let go of immediately after almost 4 years of employment - they charged me for an extended warranty & gap insurance unbeknownst to me...was not aware at the time I could have declined after the fact with a Sales invoice provided to me with each dollar value ON THE INCORRECT LINES of the ENTIRE SALES NVOICE ... This happened in my experience with Pompano Honda and specifically with one of there sales team, Tyson. Who went above and beyond, with exemplary service, care, attention to detail and follow-up, that is rare in this day and age. This happened on an occasion, that is very stressful, takes a leap of faith and was a large purchase order, buying a car site unseen, then shipping it to across the country, from Florida to California. Tyson was extremely helpful in the initial sale of the used Jeep that I purchased, providing me all the information that I needed to make the purchase of a vehicle I had only seen in pictures. He then helped me with the shipping of the Jeep the paperwork I needed to register the vehicle in my state and even called me when the Jeep arrived in California. Already great service, tremendous help, but here is where it goes further. When the Jeep arrived, I found that it had a very small radiator leak, that had unfortunately slipped past the vehicle inspection. it was so small, that I understand how it happened. When I informed Tyson of the issue, even though used cars sold and purchased are sold as-is, without a warranty, Tyson, alleviated my concerns immediately, by letting me know that he would take care of the issue, would go to his manager, to resolve the issue and he would get back to me by the next morning. True to his world, he gave me a call the next morning and told me to take the Jeep to a mechanic and the dealership would send a check for the repairs. I was so relieved that Pompano Honda stood behind a sale they did not have to and that Tyson, followed up after the sale and made sure, that I and my vehicle were taken care of in a stressful situation. I took the Jeep in the next day and had the radiator replaced, true to his word and Pompano Honda's management, a check was issued, sent out, paid in full! Thank you Tyson, and Pompano Honda for standing behind an issue with a sale you were not obliged to stand behind, resolving the issue quickly, fairly and completely. Truly, if you need to go to a dealership and salesperson, who will supply you a great car, at a fair price and if there is an issue, will stand behind the sale, if there is an issue, go to see Tyson at Pompano Honda, you will happy and satisfied that you did!

I love their report on the inspection; allows me to plan ahead for any additional maintenance on my Honda HRV. Over 90,000 miles now, so have to be diligent about maintenance.

So we found a car outside the area. We paid the have it transported here from another Carmax. We contacted a local GM dealer and found that Carmaxs Equifax reporting (versus Carfax) was incorrect and manufacturer warranty was finished. We also found the CPO on file was never paid for original dealer and thus not in effect. Urgh .... So we reach out after hours by chat to discuss cancelling and to find out the process when they were incorrect. Not to worry, the car was on a test drive and being sold today. Didn't you see the refund pending for delivery you paid ??? What ... So in effect the delivery was paid and funds received. The car was on hold and Carmax allowed another buyer to test drive and buy a unit held for transport. Then they just refund the money and fail to alert via phone and email. Wow ! Now again we were going to cancel and all is well in end. We won't likely ever consider Carmax for a buy in future however. Bad info on cars, poor hold and transport policies, and true lack of empathy around their business model and loopholes. Just another typical car dealer experience !!!

You go to the lot and you spot what car you want to test drive and they will then set you up with the test drive. I guess it's a good system if you don't see anything you like and you don't waste a salesperson time, but I thought that was kind of odd. We walked around for about 15-20 min and did not find anything that caught our eyes. But at least we now know how it works.

He and my son found their fair price, shook hands, and without any intense dialog, just calm dialog, my son had his new Kia Sportage EX. We'd spent a week trying to purchase this car at other Kia dealerships and had to walk away. My son had done his homework, checked auto trader and knew his starting price.David closed the deal. We met the finance manager who made financing simple, and my son drove off in his new car. No hidden fees, a fair price, the car he wanted, and great experience .
