Last week I brought my new Sierra 1500 in for its first oil change. I met with mt Service Advisor Lou Redington for the first time. Lou was absolutely outstanding with our interaction from start to finish. He was professional and kept me informed as to exactly what was happening. I was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time with exceptional service. Fast forward to this past Sunday. I received a call out of the blue from my original salesman, Yad Aflalo. Yad was calling to check in with me as it was the 6 month anniversary of the purchase of me awesome truck. This is the type of customer service that sets Sheehan apart from everyone else. I went in with my new truck purchased in Michigan for its first service. I love my truck, which was recently ceramic coated. I made it clear I did not want it washed after service. They wrote a note on the dash to ensure my request was honored. I also left them a ceramic towel to ensure they did not wipe oil marks from tech. Again, they honored as requested. I was very satisfied. I had an appointment, with an estimated 1-1.5 hour wait, which was less than an hour. Customer lounge is mediocre, with complementary Keurig coffee. No bottled water available and a snack vending machine. I've seen better from my hometown GMC. Little effort would go a long way folks. Staff were friendly and efficient. Yes, I'll go back for my GMC service needs while in Florida. read more

BUYER BEWARE.... Service Department I recently took my Buick Encore for a repair estimate. The diagnosis was that the lock mechanism need total overhauled and the cost was over $1700. I took to another place and the repairs were $395. When I talked to the service manager (Marc Anapolsky),,,, explain that the diagnosis was totally wrong and showed him the receipt where I actually had the repairs done and suggest that the service was not provided. I felt he was unconcerned and had no desire to look into the matter. That was my first encounter.... The second was a wiring problem that they had diagnosed... repair was estimated at over $1200... was a loose wire and was repaired for $0. In my experience... their diagnosis's skill/proficiency is in question. Unless you have a repair that is in warrantee and would look else ware for automotive service. If anyone would like documentation to prove my perception, please drop me a line and I would share the paper work related to this judgement. read more

For those that know me, I hardly ever write reviews. In this instance, it was after my only 2 interactions with this company that I felt compelled to write one. First, bought a used 2021 Denali for $60k in Nov 2025. When I was driving home from the dealership after the purchase, I realized the tank was completely empty. Shame on me for not noticing. I brushed it off. Next interaction, I was given a special $50 oil change coupon and 30 point inspection offer (instead of the regular $250). I make an appt. a few days in advance for 10am. I'm not there more than a minute when the agent tells me "oh, you're waiting, it's gonna be 3+ hours, we're behind, then there's lunch, it'll be after 1". Then ask, what about just an oil change, he said still 3 hours, I thank him, and go to another place of business for an oil change, 25 minutes in and out, no appointment, just drove right up. I will not be going to this business again aside from under warranty work and will not recommend to friends or family to buy from them or get service. Once shame on me, twice, shame on them. 6/16/26 Update- John from the dealership responded lightning fast and said if I choose to go there for my next oil change, to let him know so he can assist. If I go that route and they do assist, I'll adjust my review for sure. read more

Brandon and Mike do a great job here! Brandon told me of an additional repair I needed that I wasn't aware of yet and was honest with me about the extra wait time. At first, I was stressed out, as I'm Getting ready for some things that I had a long to do list for today, and the driver, Mike, stayed conversational on the way to my apartment and then back to the dealership later, which helps to relieve my stress. BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS! I Bought a 2021 Silverado and extended warranty 14 months ago for $30,000. It was in their shop for 10 of those months under warranty. Received it back for the 3rd time with it still malfunctioning after two replacement transmissions. I Sold it for $16,000. Total loss $14,000 in 14 months NOT INCLUDING INSURANCE OR RENTAL TRUCK COSTS. What was I supposed to do? Keep paying insurance, interest, and rental costs on a truck I can't drive? SAVE YOURSELF THE DEBT AND DEPRESSION!! AVOID THIS CON COMPANY!!! I can't get an attorney because they protect themselves with an "as is" clause. I have just over 35,000 miles on my 2019 Buick Encore Sport, which I got brand new from Sheehan Buick GMC and it was time for service. They open at 8AM on Saturday and things couldn't have gone any smoother. I did have an appointment and my service writer is Bosco. He's been there for years and knows what he's doing. He's a true professional! I was greeted with a smile and it was explained to me what was going to be done and approximately how long it should take. They do offer a free shuttle if needed, which is nice. I've been to other local Buick dealerships in the area and no one beats Sheehan Buick! One of the reasons I like it so much is that it seems that every time I come here for service or a new car that the same employees are still working here, unlike many other dealerships which seem to have a high turnover. I bet one of the reasons they have so many long term employees is that Sheehan Buick is privately owned and the owner resides within the area. I love my Buick Encore and Sheehan Buick GMC. read more

I brought my car in for service on March 25, 2025. My initial request was oil change, and an AC check. My car was dropped off at 9:30 in the morning, I did not receive any call throughout the day regarding status of my vehicle. I return to the service department around 4:30 PM that afternoon, only to find out that the car was not ready because they could not find a problem with the AC. I agreed to leave my car overnight so they could continue to work on it the next day. I was offered a rental car which I declined because I did not think I would be needing it. The following day, March 26 I called to find out the status of my car. I was told they were still working on it and would like to keep it another day. I explained that I was going out of town and needed my car. Colin asked what time I would be going out of town. I gave him my timeline, and he said I could pick my car up the following day by noon. After thinking about it for over an hour, I called and said I would need my car on the current day so that I could start packing and not have additional drive time picking it up on my day of travel. I agreed to do follow up for the AC. At no time during any of the conversations with the service department was, I told that the initial request of an oil change had not been completed. When I picked up my bill at the counter, there was no charge for the oil, I questioned why there was no charge for the service and the person at checkout said maybe because it was under warranty. My comment was maybe they gave me a free oil change because they had my car for two days! As I was driving home, I looked at my monitor on my dash to notice that none of the settings had been reset for the oil change.I looked at the bill to see that the oil change had not been completed as I had thought. I immediately called back to Buick to find out why the basic service had not been done Colin explained that they didn't do the oil change because they were concentrating on AC. I cannot believe at no time during these two days did anyone from Buick? Let me know that they had not completed the initial oil change. That was the specific reason for my visit! The service department did not call to update me, and when I called to question them, it was hard to Get in touch with my service rep! Very disappointed and unhappy with Sheehan Buick! read more

Only to later talk you out of using it due to "diagnostic fees!" BS dealership. No email addresses ever provided and no manager/owner ever present or available. Do I recommend this business for service ... absolutely and see Andrea. Do I recommend it for sales, nope see high prep fees, addendums, low trade in values and need for a new fresh design and focus. Old school sales are gone and advent of internet means a quick fair retail experience is warranted. You won't find it here currently however. Andrea (service) is literally one of the best service writers in GM chain. She is honest, fair, caring and a beautiful person to work with. Went in for recommended service of brake pads and was told i needed new rotors, which i think at 45000 miles possibly needed so i said go ahead and do it. I was recommended to another service package that was $700 package extra which I said no to. Then was told an hour or so and 3 an half hours later i am still waiting. Andrea was the service technician i dealt with. Never had a problem before with Troy of being recommended unnecessary services. but I found out she did other services I did not ask for, or was told even though it was recommended. Recommended is not immediately necessary. I am retired and do not use my car for so many miles. It should my choice! I asked about the 1 hour service or so and she said not for the brakes even though thats what I went in for, But what I didn't know about all the other things she did that I didn't ask for. I thought I trusted Sheehan Service but with this technician, not so much. Maybe a different service technician or dealership next time. I purchased a vehicle there six months ago that needed a post purchase refit to install electronics that were delayed by the global chip shortage. The appointment was made and the parts were delivered to the dealership, confirmed via GMC, after six months. When I arrived I was told the parts were not there and I would have to wait and come back. I explained that was unacceptable as I purchased this vehicle with these features that I haven't been able to use for 6 months. I also told them that I had flown to Florida from the northeast to keep this appointment and that this dealership is a 90 minute round trip from my home in Florida. Their response was essentially "too bad" and they even tried to get me to leave without any paperwork to document their misdeeds. I have 40 years in the industry working with many good and some bad dealerships so I have an idea what happened. They probably gave the my part away on a new sale and figured they could just bully a senior citizen into waste their own time and money quitely. They didn't even have the common courtesy to call me when they gave the part away and reschedule the appointment. I'd advise ALL to avoid this place. They essentially stole my part to use it for someone else, told me to me "too bad" about it and are completely ok with wasting my time and money. read more

When speaking to the sales person he was nice, but when it came time for them to do detail work the manager whom name is Mark was rude and disrespectful. Told me a whole different story. He degraded me in front of every oneThey where not going to do any detail work on it and if so I will have to pay and if I can't wait too leave and come back another day. This man is in charge of the mechanics. Now I have fear that when my car breaks down he is going to over charge me because I am a women. I bought a new GMC Yukon back in 2015 from Sheehan. Everything went pretty smooth. Fast forward to now, 5 years later. The hood and top of the SUV the paint is completely destroyed, it started about 1.5 years ago looking like a few scratches. The clear coat is completely gone and the car looks terrible. Apparently this is a default in the paint job, they want to charge $4000 to have the SUV painted. I understand the car is no longer under warranty but this is caused from the manufacture using bad paint. We are not the only ones that have experienced this. Scheduled an appointment to have my tire replaced, under warranty. The service rep didn't think the work was covered, so we called the dealership I bought the truck from. They confirmed that it was covered and gave him the contract info and phone number to file the claim. 2.5 hours later, the rep came in to help someone else, so I asked him what was going on. He said he spoke to the warranty department and they told him my problem wasn't covered. on the way home, I called the company. Not only was the rep lying about the coverage, he never even tried to file the claim. read more

I leased a GMC Sierra from Sheehan GMC a few years ago. I went by today, 12/30/21 to get a purchase/ buyout quote on the same vehicle. My salesrep, the same person I originally leased from, gave me an itemized buyers order showing the agreed upon lease end purchase price that's in my contract, plus sales tax, tag fees, document fees, ect. What surprised me the most was that the document fee alone was $998.00! I inquired as to why it was so high, the rep advised that $998.00 included the Dealer Fee that they are now charging if you choose to purchase the leased vehicle at the end of the lease. Mind you, I already paid it when I originally leased the vehicle, so now I'm paying them twice, and for absolutely nothing this time!!! I've gotten a purchase quote from another dealer, it had a $200 inspection fee, and $250 doc fees, I guess if I'm going to be charged, I will continue to shop around. luckily , I still have time. After reading my lease contract, it states my purchase option amount in one box of the form , in another box where any purchase option fee would be ilisted, it shows as N/A, as in not applicable. It states clearly the OFFICIAL fees which are not included in my purchase price listed are Tax, Tag, license and registration. So, this is just another example of dealerships and there employees being shady, I know where I won't be buying my refreshed Sierra when they arrive. read more

Small dealer treatment. The sales representative offers you a deal by phone just to bring you to the dealer, and the sales manager then does not approve it. The manager then offers you a ridiculous trade in price ($ 6,000) below the value of your vehicle. They offer you that they will beat the price you bring from Carmax just to have you there. Doing business with Jeff Nemeroff (Nemo) at Sheehan Buick GMC was a breeze. Before making a deal at Sheehan Buick GMC, I contacted local dealerships nearby. Jeff and I communicated for about a day or two over email, text message and phone call. Within that short time, Jeff was able to offer me the best deal yet on a 2019 Terrain Denali. I told Jeff I'd be at the dealership the following weekend to secure the deal. I walked in around 9:30am and left around 11:30am, in and out in about 3 hours on a Saturday (today). Jeff didn't pull any salesmen tactics. It wasn't stressful at all. It's the way car buying/leasing should be. Jeff even threw in free tint on the front driver and passenger window. The company they use to tint, drove over to the dealership and quickly tinted it while I was there. Jeff also made sure (per my request) to have the detailers remove the pinstripes and the dealerships logo. The detailers went above and beyond to clean off any marks I noticed. BEWARE- DO NOT CHOOSE THIS SHEEHAN COLLISION SHOP/DEALERSHIP!!! The staff was very pleasant and Amy, at front desk, was very helpful when I called. However, the shop had my vehicle for over a month and I never received any updates. Nor did they communicate with my insurance company or the rental car agency. The worst part of the entire process, is that when I finally received my vehicle back, there was a dent on the roof that was not there before. The manager claimed that there was no way that it could have happened while the vehicle was in their care for over a month. I have experienced sloppy collision shops create more damage on the vehicle while they had it, although never for an entire month, much less more. In those occasions the shop had enough integrity to own up to the damage and repair it. read more
