I wanted an alternative to having my service done at the dealer, and after doing some research I found Miami Engines. So I took a chance and drove down there. What a great experience! My 650i needed some fairly complicated, out-of-warranty repairs, and the folks at Miami Engines had the car completely fixed in less than one day. Not only was FAR less expensive than the dealership, they were also friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. There are basically two choices for auto service: blindly go with your dealership, or find a third-party company who really wants your business. I've found, in many cases, that independent businesses will provide more personalized service than a huge, faceless corporation. This holds true for Miami Engines. I'm giving Miami Engines five stars because I really don't know how they could have done anything better. The whole process (diagnosis, loaner car, and repairs) was smooth, from beginning to end. I have to drive all the way down from Broward (where I live) to West Kendall (to their location), but it is TOTALLY WORTH IT. read more

I was traveling to Key West from New Jersey on Interstate 95 in my GMC Acadia when I needed air conditioning and the AC had lost its charge. Late in the afternoon and with a night in Boynton Beach, I looked for AC or engine service on Yelp. Being very skeptical of any mechanic service beyond my Jersey mechanics, I saw good reviews for Miami Engines. I drove to their garage and the owner, Paul said he would help me, then. He was so accommodating. Paul not only charged the AC, but he checked the system for leaks. I was back on the road in about an hour. My trip to Key West was intact.
