I'm usually a do-it-yourselfer, and I have actually hauled my rugs into my driveway to wash them myself, but what a pain! These guys are great!!!! I have a giant white shag rug, and with a house full of pets and family, it can get pretty dirty. Expert Carpet Care will come to your home & pick up your rug. They take it back to their warehouse, where they can clean it multiple times, and it is returned to it's former white shag glory, and then bring it back dried and ready for use! Living on the 4th floor, in house carpet cleaning isn't an option, but even if it was, I think I would still have them do the pick up. On top of the great cleaning skills, the guys at Expert are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and polite. They call and show up when they say they will, and scheduling with them is a breeze. I had 2 filthy (I'm embarrassed to say) large area rugs that were originally off-white. I decided to try and have them cleaned before replacing them. I have hard wood floors so the rugs were not going to be cleaned in my home. Expert had many positive reviews in my neighborhood so I gave them a call. It took 2 weeks for them to return my call (over the holidays), but finally Brad called and set up an appointment. I told him the rugs were really dirty and had heavy furniture on them which I would need them to move. Brad came and had Jim meet him to do the removal. I ended up sending 2 additional rugs with them for cleaning and decided to have my white couch cushions cleaned when they brought the rugs back. The cushions had years of pets wiping themselves on the edges and sleeping on them. I didn't have a lot of hope of having them return to their previous condition. Several weeks went by and it was time for the rugs to be returned. They arrived almost on time but had texted me that traffic was heavy and they would be delayed by 10 mins. I appreciated the communication. Wow! I was shocked the rugs were completely clean! I mean they looked as close to new as was possible! There were 2 small spots on one that had been bleached from whatever spilled on them. But they were now off-white again and not brown! I was thrilled! Jim brought Angel and they put the rugs back under the furniture and really took the time to make sure that the rugs were lined up and completely parallel. Now they had to clean the dirty cushions. Jim set up in the garage and went to work on them. Again, the cushions cleaned up and the pet dirt was completely gone! I can not emphasize enough how great these guys were! They wore bootie covers on their shoes, Swiffered the floors prior to laying the rugs back down, arrived when they said they were going to, were very professional and personally clean and tidy. At first I was a bit concerned that the money I was paying wasn't going to result in clean rugs and furniture...boy was I wrong! I am thrilled with the results! When my daughter called and told me her friend had dumped a can of orange soda on my beautiful wool rug, I thought it was a lost cause. Until Expert Carpet Care showed up! They were amazing! Bryan was punctual & professional and did not get my hopes up too much. He was honest about the fact that orange soda is pretty much red dye. I told him to do his best. His best was AWESOME!!! My rug was returned in a week (with several update calls from Bryan along the way) and my husband couldn't even tell where the stain had been. I chose this company after searching the internet and was so glad I did. They did an outstanding job on my very large wool carpets that have a tendency to shed and bleed colors slightly. I spoke with Brad on the phone and explained all my concerns -- which were numerous -- and that I needed someone who really knew how to handle wool rugs. He said he would like to come to the house to see them. He came and we spoke and I decided he really understood my concerns and explained how they handled these issues.
