When I decided it was time to service this old Marantz receiver, I gave Jason a call. He was happy to take the project. His pricing was straightforward and very fair. I got a full recap and he serviced the pots. He doesn't just fix cell phones. When I plugged in the receiver, the sound was soooo sweet! Back to the way it was meant to sound in its glory days. He really did this Marantz justice. His work is solid and he's very communicative. I'm so glad that there's an electronics expert in this area that I can trust. Because of its wifi and the only model DC it is expensive (used one sell on eBay for over $150). My amateur diagnosis with a multimeter and I thought a capacitor was bad. No other place in town even does capacitor/circuit board repairs. But it gets better! I told the owner the capacitor was bad. He said he would confirm and repair for $20. I provided him with just 30 minutes and returned to find the device repaired. He even diagnosed the part (yes I was wrong!) and showed me the varistor was bad. Part worked as promised. I'm especially pleased as I gave him a bad diagnosis to work with. Yes he has tons of electronics in his place, but those all provide parts, don't let that scare you. I'm sure my replaced varistor (a very uncommon part to have on hand) came from some of those electronics. A real mom and pop feel, quality workmanship and now my fan works, saving me over $130. A+
