Frank (and his cousin Frank) fixed my Tempurpedic bed. It all was working after the initial installation of the bed in March 2023. We had the frame installed a year later and that is when the Sleeptracker-AI for primary side of the split king was not getting any data. We got the data from the secondary side. This is the system which gives you sleep data every day (and emails the results as well). We talked to Tempurpedic at least 4 times of at least 30 minutes each and were visited 3 times by another company. None of these solved the problem with the Sleeptracker-AI. After the last visit by the other company they switched sides of the sensor cable to debug the problem. (Unfortunately you have to wait until the next morning to see the results. It was pretty clear that the problem was with the sensor/sensor cable on the primary side that was broken. I sent a n email to Tempurpedic with this information. After about 4 days I got a call from Frank at A&J. I explained the problem and he understood immediately. They had sent him the part, but it was the wrong one. It was the sensor processor, not the sensor, and it was even the wrong model (white versus black). He said that he had a sensor. He came out (with cousin Frank) and replaced it in about 5 minutes. Left a review 9 days ago as of now no written diagnostic mailed to me. He did not even turn on the tV to diagnose and when he was asked to place it in writing never complied l. The part he quoted me for I found $600 cheaper I contacted Samsung because the ONLY reason I called him was he was listed as an authorized repair person. After I told him I found the price part cheaper on Samsung he said it was something else I reported it to Samsung and they told me I should ask for his diagnosis in writing . In all honesty for a $95 fee to go towards parts he should at least have the decency to respond in writing. Very very poor way to treat a customer that trusted and paid. It's not about the money it's the unprofessional , ethic and failing to follow through with a customer. Red flag should have been when he ask how many devices I had plugged into the TV ? My experience was for a Mistsubishi DLP chip replacement: after finally getting through to Mitsubishi and getting a support response (as they had previously been denying any help for this common problem), they scheduled a service call using A&J Quick TV. It was less than an hour after talking to Mitsubishi that I got a call from A&J to scheduled an appt to come out and replace the chip. The arrival was on-time, the replacement was smooth and quick, he was conscientious of the dirtiness of the parts and took them outside to clean them, and stayed to make suire the TV was working OK. My Mitsubishi WD-62725 had the dreaded red light on lamp indicator. I went ahead and ordered a new lamp from Amazon.Com. But on inserting it accidentally pushed the connector back in to the TV. I took the TV apart and connected the cable from the ballast but did notice the bracket had come off. TV still did not work. I checked Mitsubishi's website for authorized service centers and A & J Quick TV was the nearest. I spoke with Frank, who was very patient, courteous and listened as I explained the issue. He agreed to have a tech come out the same day on a Sat to put the cable and bracket back on. He did not think it was a problem with the ballast and lamp was brand new. The quote was $85 for the visit + the time which came to $125. Richard came out and saw the issue and had the bracket and cable on in next to no time. He reassembled the TV with no spare screws and the TV is working again. I was contemplating a new TV but this should keep me going for a lot longer till I find a future set that I want to upgrade to. 5 stars to A & J Quick TV for saving the day. read more

I was having internet connectivity issues with my recently purchased Samsung TV. Cable company kept telling me that it was my TV, although I had 3 other TV's with the same issue of streaming continuously and stopping. All kinds of research on the TV, to find out why his TV was getting a white dot, that turned to three dots, then dice shape, the he could see the big dipper, then milky way...UGH! My boyfriend was upset, and can't live without his TV! So started a to do research from google: to blogs: to others people same issues with their TV; finally found; [ FixyourDLP.com ]. Mitsubishi is replacing these DMD IC chips nationwide under an unannounced kind of recall for model # WD60C9, WD73733, WD57734, WDY657, WD73734, WD65735, WD60735, WD65C9, WD73840, WD65833, WD65733, WD73735, WD73833, WD57733, WD65734, and others. Call them at (800) 332 - 2119 and give them your model, serial number, and date of purchase. To find the Mitsubishi TV was covered under warranty, they ship the part to the TV repair. Then you only pay for the labor part. So pricing the TV's, the labor part was going to be $ 200.00. Work was guaranteed to be right. So figured if it would be like how it was when he bought it, only paying the two hundred was such a big hurt in the pocket book. Note: earlier in the year (July 2012) the light bulb went out, so he boyfriend bought it at Fry's electronics $120.00 and replaced that himself. (Easy fix replacing light bulb). So the gentleman knocks on the door, introduces himself as Frank. He gave arrival time to repair between hours 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. He was at the house at 8:40 a.m., right on time. I was super happy, because my day was not waiting long for repair guy. Frank (repairman) was happy because the TV was already turned around, making his job easy for him to get in back of the TV. He unscrewed back panel, pulled out the box part, said he was going to take the box part outside to test in his vehicle, and add new chip part. About half hour goes by he was carrying the part back in, replacing box part back into TV, then tested TV to make sure it worked fine. It looked like a brand new TV, worth the $ 200.00 dollars. ECO Friendly: So my moral of this story is don't get rid of it, unless its not worth fixing. Total bulb $120.00 (Work replacing light bulb in July), and then the repairman Frank cost $200.00 = 320.00 for TV looks brands new again. Saved over $ 775.00 from having to buy the TV again. We went here to get our plasma tv repaired. The TV picture went away. We called a number of people and they all said we needed new boards. Anyway we went to this place because they were close to our house. They were a bit more pricy ($100) then one of the other people we called but the other place had to many TVs at the time so they couldn't take ours. It took 2 months and a week to get it repaired. Other places said 1-2 weeks and originally A&J said 2 weeks. First thing to know is they NEVER call you. If you want your TV done you should call them. We called them after 2 weeks and they were barely ordering the parts. After that we called every 2 weeks and the parts took forever to come in. We live in Nor Cal and the parts were coming from LA so it isn't even that far. I can drive to LA in 5 hours and it seemed to take like a month and a half to get the parts here. Then after they finally got the parts in they said it would take a week to repair the TV. We called again when they said it would be done and it wasn't finished. We waited another week to call and it was finally finished just that day we called. They were in no rush at all to get the TV repaired and didn't even apologize for how long it took. I understand that it is an estimation of time but PHONES DO EXIST they could have kept us updated. NEVER once did they call us! We always had to call them to get an up date. I do think they deserve the 1 star. One of the guys there knows a crap load about TVs and believe me he will enlighten you for an hour if you let him (1/2 star). When we did get the TV back it does work fine and the picture is just as good as ever (1/2 star). If you don't mind being without your TV for a LONG period of time without any notion of when it will be done please go to these people. Also keep in mind I do believe they are more expensive then other repair services with the exception of the actual manufacture probably (ie Samsung). Good luck! read more

I took my TV in to A&J to get looked at because of some flickering issues that I had. It got to the point that the TV was not working at all. After not hearing back from A&J for 2 weeks i decided to give them a call and see what was up. I was told that they were still looking at it trying to figure out what was wrong. I said great, please give me a call when you know. 2 more weeks go by, no call. I call back and say what's the deal, they tell me it should be an easy fix, just waiting on the part. I say great, please give me a call when you know. Another week goes by, no call. I call back and they say, there may be another issue with the TV, we're testing it out. I said that's great, but why has no one called me at all? They appologiesed and said they'd call back within a day or two and let me know more. Another week goes by, no call. I call back and they say it's a big issue and it'll cost several hundred dollars to repair. I say forget it and please dispose of the TV. I think you see the problem here. It's not that the TV was busted, it was the communication, or lack thereof. I honestly may have forgotten one or two phone calls in the mix there. Every time I talked to them, they were helpful, but I was specific everytime asking them to call me back with an update. After 2 months I didn't receive ONE call, no exaggeration. I would not go back to them for anything. You're better off trying to do it yourself. I would have had the same results they got and it would have taken a day. Update to my review of 4/4/2012. It is now 1/27 and still no TV. No promised call backs, just more and more excuses. And no effort to make it better. They have no skills what so ever in service, and tell you lies to get you off the phone. Interesting they do not belong to the BBB, if they did, they would spend all their time answering complaints. We are picking up our broken TV, minus the part, because according to them, they sent it to Pioneer, What I really think is that they have poor business relations with the parts people and cannot get what the customer needs in a timely manner. They don't want to call you regarding the status of your set, but they will spend 20+ minutes making excuses for themselves when you call them. The technician was good but A & J Quick TV LACKS customer service due to poor communication. In short our TV has been down for over 5.5 months. First set of parts took 3 months to arrive and the second batch of parts came in broken according to the technician. We keep following up yet we get no return calls. We've tried to escalate the issue with the extended warranty company and they say we need to talk to the technician that doesn't call us back. We have been tolerant but our patience is running thin due to the lack of communication with the technician and extended warranty company. If you need us to HELP you get the replacement parts, please communicate to us so we can help resolve the issue. I had a loud buzzing noise with my panasonic plasma model P60S30. I called Frank, and he came out and fixed it in less than an hour. Problem turned out to be loose screws on the main board.
