I went here for the first time last week! I must say it was clean and the couple who owns this salon is the sweetest. They didn't mind us having our kids at the nail salon they didn't have any there cause they were about to be closed so I'm sure that helped! But they were so kind and the wife did my nails I got dip and they look amazing! So impressed she was so GREAT and took her time! Price was great and reasonable Overall such a great experience. Tom did a fantastic job on my fills. He was fast yet particular and detailed. He knew what he was doing. He made sure to clip off the part of the nails that were lifting when I got there, and cleaned under the nails as well. I can't say enough good things about this nail place, I love it here!! It's super clean and tidy, good customer service too! Tom does my pink and white acrylic nails perfectly!! I've had pedicures from everyone here and they all do a wonderful job here. I highly recommend the "Deluxe Pedicure" they soak your feet in a hot bath, give a sugar scrub to your legs and feet, then after scrubbing the dead skin and calluses off your feet, they have a hot paraffin treatment to your feet while they give your legs a massage from your knees to your ankles. Just when you think it's all over, they bust out with a hot steamy towels over your legs while they remove the wax off your feet and give you a foot massage. Then when you don't think it could get any better, they take warm smooth river rock and massage you feet and legs with it!! I've been to high end spas in Los Angeles and not had this good of a pedicure! Now that I live in Colorado this is by far the best pedicure I've had ever, especially at this price point $35 is a great price and right now they are having a special and it's only $30, you just can't beat that!! I'm not the kind of person who leaves bad reviews on yelp, (unless my health was in danger) and I went to 5 other places before I found this one and I'll never go anywhere else. read more

I've been a client for approx 2 years. Tom & his wife Helen team together as the General Managers. Call ahead if you can, since the secret of their outstanding services is getting out. As of 2.5 - 4 years ago -- this business did not have the privilege of being managed by Tom & Helen. My preferred services every 15 to 20 days include a traditional Rebase, with a natural looking French white tip finish ; & a relaxing Pedicure. They welcome my appointment 99 % of the time ; & are honest if they happen to be overly swamped in those 1 % of cases. Granted,.... I usually request to visit at times I envision might be less popular with other clients --- but, when I'm unable to do that... they are good at keeping the flow of clients at a "reasonable clip,"... as to allow everyone a customized & relaxing experience. The services most clients request -- the fees charged at Crystal Nails are usually right in the ballpark ; or cost less. I'm very aware of typical prices for manicure, pedicure, & rebase services in Denver, suburban Denver ,... & even in several other states. My former nail salon was one of West Denver's busiest -- & is indeed a budget nail salon. Babies & toddlers often cry ; & the salon is over-filled, chaotic & hurried. I pay a few dollars more than that prior budget Nail Salon, for my 2 services ; but the level of relaxation at Crystal Nails is 200 or 300 % higher -- which, I consider to be worth paying a few more dollars every 15 to 20 days. Their prices are very good and they did an amazing job on my shellac and pedicure! I like how they offer 4 different pedicure options. I chose the $35 pedicure and it was fantastic. Included in that was a paraffin wrap, a hot stone massage, a very long regular massage, and a hot towel wrap. It was so relaxing. This place doesn't look like much but I'm glad I walked out of Venetian Nails and into XO. Clean, high quality polish, and reasonable prices. Not to mention Dee is the man you want doing your nails. He took his time and literally gave me the best mani & pedi ever. I live in LA so that's saying a LOT. Nail places are a dime a dozen there. XO rocks. Too bad I don't live here. I never get my nails done but I am in a wedding next weekend (with open toed shoes) so I wanted to treat myself. I won't be coming back here when it's time to get ready for the next wedding in July. My friend and I came in for a manicure and pedicure. My nail tech completely rushed the process, my friend didn't get polish on her fingers yet I was still somehow done and drying 20 minutes before she was done. The polish on one of my nails got smudged when I went to dry and my nail tech did a half-assed job fixing it; rather than taking all of the polish off and redoing it she only took off a little bit of the polish so there are now craters in the polish in that finger. Also, the polish isn't all of the way to my cuticles and the polish on my toes is heavy in spots and light in others. It's been 36 hours and the polish is already chipping on my fingers, even though I've been really careful. Not worth your time if you get my tech, my friend had a better experience but neither one gave their names. I'm either going to have to get a color change or just buy some polish and do it myself before the wedding on Sunday. read more

I received the worst manicure of my life at this salon. The tech cut my cuticles until I was bleeding and painted shellac polish all over my fingers. The shop is run down and so is the equipment. The lamps kept going out on the UV light they were using to dry my nails. When I complained about the polish on my cuticles and fingertips, she said that she always does manicures that way and it will grow out?! I complained to the manager who was on her way out and she just shrugged, grabbed her purse and left. read more

I walked in with my daughter and sister-in-law to get pedicures as a special treat. The pedicure wasn't HORRIBLE, but wasn't great, either. My biggest complaint is the polish job on all three of us. I could have done a better job myself. My daughter's pedi was $4 less than mine (she's10), but she didn't get anything other than a soak, clip/file and paint. Her paint is gloppy and thick as was my sister-in-law's. My paint is on my cuticles. I Have a rash on my legs and tried to explain the problem, but NOBODY of the three technicians working on us spoke any English. I find that frustrating. I will not go back there again. read more

I have been to this nail shop once before and had a female tech and she did a pretty good job so I decided to try it again. Unfortunately, the male tech that did my nails this time did not do well. I got there at 4:45 and was done with my manicure 20 minutes later he rushed through the manicure and my cuticles were still dry and haggard looking. They charged me $15 for a manicure plus tip I walked out of there spending 20 bucks on a half ass job. The one good thing about this place was they were not busy and had lots of shellac colors to choose from. They also had a mini fridge with beverages inside but nobody offered me anything to drink that would've been a nice touch. I was totally bummed out hoping my nails would've looked perfect for Halloween and my bachelorette party. I won't recommend this place and will not be coming back. read more

Today was my first time here. I have been going to the Venetian Nails for the last year and finally got fed up with their poor service. I was pleasantly surprised with Xo nails. The ladies were all very friendly, and my pedicure turned out great. In addition, the basic $22 pedi included a sea salt scrub and a lotion massage! I was visiting Colorado to have a special Spa Day for my 7-yr old great niece, her Mom, and me. It was one of the worst experiences I've had at a Nail establishment. The manicurists (??!!) all seemed to be racing to see who could finish first; tripping over items between chairs as they clumsily did the manicures also while we were in the pedicure chairs. Being flexible with your arms crossing over back and forth did not make for a relaxing visit. We were all adorned with floral paintings (not asked for and at an additional cost). As if all this wasn't bad enough - the manicure on myself lasted approximately 6 hours & then the entire nail polish 'fell' off the nails (intact). NEVER!!! would recommend or go back. Save yourself $150!! read more

Just be warned: these folks are liars. I can't comment on the quality of their work, only the content of their character. I had an appointment with someone at another salon in the same parking lot. I walked in here (thinking it was the wrong place, but I couldn't locate the business I was looking for) & asked if Tin worked there. They proceeded to tell me he had to leave. I thought this was a lie, because he has my # & knows I live 20 minutes away, so he would have let me know if something came up. I told them I had an appointment for Tim to do my mani & his wife to do my pedi @3 pm. The guy proceeded to pretend to look at the schedule & let me know he knew of my adjournment, but "they had an emergency" and had to leave, but *not to worry, he could see me instead*. Seemed fishy, so I sent Tim a message asking if I was at the wrong place. I was indeed, on the wrong side of the street (and tracks, apparently). I'm glad to have found the place I was looking for, but this place is SHADY at best. If you care about integrity, avoid this place! read more

I always get shellac on my nails, but the owners wife did my nails this last time and did a horrible job, I had to go back in two days to have my nails fixed because the shellac was chipped everywhere, suddenly she could not speak any English whereas two days prior she spoke English just fine, instead of honoring and fixing my nails they charged me for fixing them. I've never had this happen to my nails u till now and I will not be returning to their salon anymore. I have told my friends and family also who have had their nails done there. They also took the acrylic off before putting the shellac back on and I said why are not putting the acrylic back on and her husbands you don't need it and I said I do need acrylic on my nails and I paid for acrylic but they refused to put it back on. So all in all I will not return and they are losing my business and my friends and families. Good bye Crystal nails. read more
