I've had a hard time finding a quality nail salon, but Vivid Nails has been amazing! Vanessa is an excellent manicurist that does a detailed job each time! They always fit me in when I'm available, provide drinks and truly want me to enjoy the service that I receive! Vanessa also told me about the other services that Vivid offers such as a head scalp massage, waxing and of course pedicures. She has almost 2 decades of nail experience so you know that each time you come to her, she will do an excellent job. The prices are very good, and they have a HUGE color selection which is nice because I love every different shade of pink and red! Every woman EVERYWHERE has a hard time finding a good nail tech. Anytime I go to a nail salon... I hope and pray that I'll like my nails when I leave. I LOVE my nails every time I come here. I live in the highlands and I've tried out some nail salons near home and within one week they've either fallen off or the gel is chipping - so I'm short $70 bucks for a full set and my nails are breaking? NO THANK YOU. That's not the case here. Prices are the on point. Nails always last. I'll travel for quality. Ava is AMAZING. I will never go anywhere else but here to get my nails done. They are under new management so things were still being organized, but the salon was clean. Ava took great care in taking off my old nails and doing a whole new set. I have been to this salon several times, and had this technician a few times. Usually been satisfied. But yesterday I have to complain about. I got a good pedicure, but when it came to the manicure I didn't get moved to the manicure table. She did it standing on one side and I had to reach across my body for her to do my other hand. It was the fastest manicure I've ever had and when complete she just left me sitting and walked away. I've always been moved to the area where your nails dry faster. My nails are uneven, the polish is uneven, some spots no polish, cuticles could be better. By the way, they weren't busy when she did my manicure. I'm so disappointed. I am beyond irritated! I went in there and asked for an almond shaped full set with a pedicure and ended up spending a long time in there. The pedicure lady was really sweet and did an amazing job but the lady that did my manicure whom I think is the owner didn't do that amazing of a job sure they're fine I'm not too mad but she told me she charges $7 to do shaping and an extra $15 for shellac. WHO CHARGES FOR SHAPING?? Anyways the amount ended up being $120 for a short almond set and a pedicure!! This set should've charged me $60, $70 at the MOST. I tried coming to this place 3 times now , and they always do a bad job. I don't have a picture of my pedicure, but I had gel and my nails weren't even cut evenly. Prior to covid, I would get my nails done every three weeks but I took a year-long break from getting them professionally done. I recently decided it was time to try again and I was referred to Vivid Nails by a friend: I couldn't have been more satisfied! As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with a ton of warmth and personality. Everyone working was so personable and I immediately felt welcomed. I decided to get dip and I can honestly say, I have never had as many options as I did at Vivid. I am also extremely happy with my finished product. I made an appointment ahead of time and asked for a dip pink and white. If you know what that is, you know that it's supposed to be pink powder as the base and the white powder on the tips. It's more natural looking and the white powder doesn't wear off like the white gel does. They don't do the white powder here. They only do the pink powder. After doing the pink powder they paint the white on with gel. The whole purpose of having a white dip on the tip is so that it doesn't wear off. They also don't use the topcoat that is supposed to go with the dip. They use gel topcoat. So it wears off. I waited 45 minutes before they got started and I was there for a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes when I should've been in and out in just a little over an hour.
