I called them right when they opened and immediately the phone was answered, I asked if there were any openings and they were able to squeeze me in for a quick ears pierced appointment. The inside is beautiful just like the people who work here, they are so so so kind and will provide you with all the information regarding to treatment/after care. The prices aren't bad at all either, and it didn't hurt. I had my ears pierced for the second time, the first time I had 5 done at once and I don't know how I was able to do that. I arrived and was petrified. I decided I wanted to get my nose pierced and after seeing the reviews, I was willing to drive the 25+ minutes it took to get there. I had been researching different spots and I'm very pleased with my choice. Ian was very calm and allowed me to be dramatic as I asked him if I could place my feet flat on the floor, because, "I didn't want to kick him ." I'm not sure what I expected to happen! I was nervous. Palms sweating, laughing out of discomfort, all of that! Ian never changed. He gave me the spill on what he was going to do, walked me through each step, and I was in and out of his cube in like 7 minutes, tops! Even with my award winning dramatics. I felt very safe and clean. Masks were worn by everyone. There is a plastic partition at the front counter. I just didn't like that the woman at the front kept placing my card on the counter instead of my hand but, pandemic, cool. I'd recommend this place over and over again. Extremely rude and sketchy about refunds- I went with a friend and it ended up they couldn't do an industrial due to ear anatomy (which is fine). They refused to give a refund even though the piercing was not done and were extremely rude and patronizing throughout the whole process. Update: finally got a refund after phone calls and going in person to speak to manager. She did the refund in about 5 seconds even though her associates were lying and being condescending about not being able to do it. If this happens to you, be persistent and don't let them take advantage of you. read more

My first tattoo here was a scorpion on my right arm done by an artist no longer there... she did good work but had a heavy hand that later would be corrected by Vanis... I first met Vanis on a cover up I was going to get on my upper right arm. I wanted a Shark but a shark that was Bad Ass... Vanis was like come back in 2 days and I will have something ready for you.. Np I left wondering what kind of Shark he would draw up for the session... I returned as asked and when he showed me the outline I was like yeah I don't know... But Vanis was like give me a chance to show you what I have vision with the colors and final detail... Well There I was in Vanis' chair getting blasted on and that is as they say "Murder he Wrote" This cover up would lead me to begin my sleeve that Vanis would design & complete... A total of 11 sessions in all when you include the Shark & Scorpion repair... I can say I built a friendship with Vanis that will have me back again soon... The Owner Piper knows this business and with the cleanliness of the shop & artists working for him it shows!!!! If you are thinking about getting a tattoo here and it's your first tattoo, go somewhere else. I initially reached out to them through their website. I had no intention of going in until I had a finished design, but the receptionist (who manages the online portal) said that the best way to move forward with a design was to speak with an artist and the receptionist connected me with an artist. On the first consultation I sent the artist everything they would need to get an idea of what I was looking for (which was a tribal tattoo). When I go in for the consultation it's obvious the artist didn't even bother to look at the information I sent them. They make you sign all of this paperwork and pressure you into paying a $200 deposit. Up to this point, they are extremely talkative in order to secure your deposit. I paid the deposit thinking that I would be securing that artists services for the design and work. During that consultation, I told them what I expected: I wanted to be involved in the process and provide feedback so that we could move to the actual inking portion. I left that first meeting with the understanding that they would communicate with me regarding updates that were made. I followed-up through email with the artist and their responses that follow are both arrogant and snarky leading up to the second consultation. This should have been the first warning sign. This attitude translates over to the second consultation. We meet to review the design and spend a grand total of 5 minutes, much of those 5 minutes were spent repeating comments I had already sent them through email but they did not bother to open. This was the second warning sign. We scheduled a third consultation at some point, then the remainder of the time spent was discussing their personal life. When we left, the artist said they would send me the design before our next appointment. I followed-up with them numerous times to see if they had made the updates to the design and could share them - no reply. I needed to change the appointment time for the third consultation (because life) and the artist went radio silent. I had to call the shop 3x's in order to get a hold of the artist and it was only after 8 days that they responded, that they had cancelled the appointment. No response on the updated design, or rescheduling the appointment. I sent the artist a follow-up email politely asking that they respond within a reasonable amount of time (24 hours) because I had a busy life just like I'm sure they do and that responding to a customer through email literally takes a few seconds. Apparently, they didn't like that and said they didn't want to work with me any more. I called the shop to ask for some help with resolving this matter and providing some customer satisfaction and their response was to talk to the artist. I tried really hard to work with them, knowing that artists can be eccentric and socially awkward but I was a paying customer and they completely disregarded me after I paid $200. They said I could work with another artist, but wouldn't put me in contact with them and said I'd have to pay another $200 for that artist. Outrageous! Overall I feel like I was scammed out of my hard earned money by a con-artist and a disreputable establishment. They are running a con at this shop. The artist being able to keep the deposit when they are not providing good faith customer service and deny service is beyond dishonest, it's criminal. I will never recommend people go to this shop for a tattoo or piercing even if the artist moves on. They are dishonest, scammers and unapologetic for their behavior. got my first belly piercing and it was starting to reject right away, the piercer had me lay down, sit up, and stand up to see if i was able to get it done(great start) but immediately my piercing was rejecting , got infected and was really uncomfortable no matter how well i took care of it. i took it out a month later and was left with a gross scar due to it not being out in correctly. i got told by a piercer that has done multiple other piercings on my body if i was the problem, to which he replied that the state my body was in, i should not have gotten a belly piercing due to my stomach.. wasted $60 also paid for the cleaning solution which smelt gross right when i opened it and made another piercing i had cleaned it with get infected also(save yourself the $16 and just buy a better one from the store) read more

Jose is a true gentleman, a super talented artist, and not to mention by the book when it comes to his work and his charger (inside joke). I truly loved all his work, but my last tattoo is not only beautiful but he was able to capture my idea and took it to the next level. I talked to one artist about a tattoo I wanted to get...What I GENUINELY appreciate is when he honestly told me that someone else there would be a better fit for the type of tattoo I wanted. That deserves respect right there. Moving on, I was directed to Van, and after we talked a bit about it, I felt really comfortable getting it done with him. Aside from being EXTREMELY HAPPY with the result, Van's real friendly, easy to talk to, and I appreciated his attention with wanting to make sure I was going to be happy with where I was getting the tattoo, the size, the position, etc. My tattoo is in Farsi, not easy to do when you don't know the lettering, and Van did AMAZING. I absolutely love Exposed Temptations. I have been to several tattoo places over the years and theirs is the first that makes me feel welcome, valued and not out of place. Too many places make you feel like you're bothering them or are super uncool...but not here. Every staff member that I have encountered is friendly and helpful. Matt is my go-to tattoo artist. He is responsive, professional, and does excellent work. He's comfortable to be around and have a conversation with, and I will be back to have him work on any future tattoos. I also just got a tragus piercing done by Ian. He's high energy, friendly, and professional. The process barely hurt (I was prepared for it to be awful) and the recovery is going great. Looking forward to getting the other side done in a few months. I recommend Exposed Temptations to all my friends considering tattoos or piercings! Typing this through tears. Do not get tattooed by Ower. I would've thought doing a simple tattoo with a CLEAR reference would've been easy but apparently not. My tattoo looks NOTHING the like reference photo I provided. It seemed Ower did not care about my preferences (I asked for a thick line, he did fine line) I get that the stencil can wash out the details of a tattoo but ANY PERSON WITH COMMON SENSE would realize that and take a glance at the reference photo and say to themselves, "oh there's actually supposed to be lines inside the ears and hair details on the body and tails". Ower did not have this common sense. He did a shitty plain outline of the rabbits and the reference photo which he could've had readily had at hand clearly shows something different. The bigger rabbit looks so little like the reference it's almost laughable and the back leg is so shitty. The smaller rabbit has a weird point on the end of its face instead of a nose, and why is the ear separate from its head instead of being a continuation of its head? I have this on me for life and it is my first tattoo that is visible (my two others are on my ribs/hip) and it is terrible. I can only hope that I can find someone who can fix it to how I want it. This was supposed to be a sentimental tattoo representing me and my mom but now when I look at it all I want to do is cry. I can't believe he did this to me. read more

I got my first tattoo done 4 years ago and it is not the same anymore. I tried to be seen yesterday for a tattoo and the lady at the front desk is incredibly rude and I sat there waiting for someone to speak with me about my tattoo for them to simply say they couldn't do the tattoo. So I went to Lamano Ink around the corner and they took me immediately and I got an awesome quote for the tattoo and I'm so glad I went there because my tattoo is flawless so don't waste your time at this place they are rude and not willing to help. read more

The staff was amazingly welcome!! I went in for an industrial bar and my boyfriend went in for a septum piercing. Both piercings were priced at $60 which is fair!! I came in last Tuesday (10/15) for a matching tattoo with my husband on the side of my finger. When the artist asked me how the sketch was, I expressed that I thought the heart was crooked. After that moment, the artist started getting impatient. He said this tattoo was taking longer than it should, that he should've been done. He said he makes no promise as to how long it will last, but my tattoo didn't even survive a chance to. Lines were way too thin. Called back and instead of providing excellent customer service, didn't work with us at all to get it at least touched up. Next time, if a couple comes in to get something special to them two, try to create a memorable experience for them. It's not just all about profiting all the time! read more

I am still sitting outside in the cold waiting for her to be done, almost 2 hours later (I was not allowed to go in with my daughter because she is over 18). No explanation or apology given for the delay. Update - Thanks for the quick response to my review. However, it should be noted that my issue is not with having to wait outside. The problem is that the original wait time was exceeded dramatically with no update or explanation. We would have appreciated knowing the number of people ahead of us or the fact that the piercer was about to go on a break. None of this was shared. Rooster is so talented and has tattooed my husband, a few of my friends and me. The shop is very clean and his artist booth is personalized which helps to have things to look at while getting a tattoo.
