He was going at least 30+ mph, which is way too fast for a residential area. He nearly hit me, and instead of apologizing or showing any concern, he actually yelled at me afterward. To make things worse, he then parked his work truck in a clearly marked fire lane. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also dangerous. Immediately visually noted a burnt wire at a termination on the contactor. Probed contactor switch and confirmed it was non-functioning and needed replacement due to burnt and pitted switch points throughout. Explained probable cause. Replaced the part, cut back and reterminated all wires for tight connections. Confirmed function and amp draws. Reviewed entire unit for any abnormalities. Fixed the immediate problem and did not try to sell new unit. Excellent service. Would recommend.

The other company came back with maintenance recommendations of cleaning coils and replacing the UV light. The estimate exceeded $1500. I felt that was an excessive amount of money so based on a recommendation from a friend, I called Qual-tech to see if the pricing was comparable. Pete came to the house. . Not only was he very professional, but he was very informative too. He went into my attic took pictures and showed me my coils are very clean and do not need to be cleaned. He said these are the cleanest coils he has seen in a very long time. He also showed me pictures of the UV light. It is working perfectly fine and does not need to be replaced. Pete just saved me a lot of money. What did need to be cleaned was the blower wheel which the previous company did not recommend. So I had him clean it for me and it looks brand new. Pete saved me a lot of money. Qual-Tech has earned my trust and this will be the only company that I use moving forward for any AC services that I need.
