4/2/26 ~5:50pm I had a really concerning experience with a technician driving through my apartment complex while I was out taking a walk. He was going at least 30+ mph, which is way too fast for a residential area. He nearly hit me, and instead of apologizing or showing any concern, he actually yelled at me afterward. To make things worse, he then parked his work truck in a clearly marked fire lane. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also dangerous. Most recently, I had them out for an A/C maintenance and to install a new mini split in my bedroom, which is an addition on to the original house and has never cooled or heated. Hayden, the technician, was fantastic! He called ahead to let me know he was on his way, arrived with a smile, and even wore booties to keep my floors clean -- such a thoughtful touch. In short, poor workmanship has resulted in numerous repairs from improper freon line set connections which have and continued to leak over years, improper insulation install inside an air handler which blocked airflow which they didn't discover till after cutting holes in the ceiling and ductwork, improper wiring of the thermostats as single stage vs variable speed so my high efficiency system ran as a low efficiency system for 4 years. I currently have a repeat slow leak at a previously repaired connection and they refused to repair saying it's been too long since the work. They claimed no time limit on workmanship at previous repairs. read more

This is a company that cares about profit vs customer experience. We had massive issues with our AC fixed in June/July. It was a $5K bill. We discovered a month later our fan didn't run when the AC was off. Our tech told us to call and make an appt asking for a new HVAC install. He came gave us a quote for the AC and didn't fix it. Found it bizarre We called for 2 months for another visit. Finally he arrived when it was convenient for his schedule and charged us a service visit. Our air conditioner suddenly stopped working this week & we were stuck with a 115 degree weather at home. Initially we called Bell Air conditioning services to come check and fix our issue. The technician from Bell Air told us to buy a $15 part and replace it on our own, but we couldn't find the part & called Bell Air to return and fix the broken part. This particular time, the same technician returned & had a horrible attitude. Apparently the broken part he fixed didn't repair our AC and he suggesting us to replace the entire AC unit saying "it was fried up" for $9,500. We were really frustrated at this point!! Then we called the Lincoln air, & spoke to Michelle Graney and explained her the entire situation. In less than than 24 hours we had a technician come in, fixed our air conditioner, saved us tons of time & money and now we are worry free!!!!!!! We used Lincoln Air for an inspection of our upstairs HVAC unit and spent nearly $3K in repairs. Our heat pump wouldn't turn on this morning and found that our electrical wiring is not setup: thermostat wired for straight wire to cool. Defrost board bypassed. Low pressure and high pressure sensors cut and bypassed cut and jumped. We contacted them earlier today and they said well we were just there to put in new coils, a return and diagnose why the unit wasn't working. We are working with an attorney tomorrow to get this resolved. read more

The service tech was OK but they were to detect a leak in my Mitsubishi split for $475 that he was unable to detect. Tried to sell a $2200+ charge for a blue light detection and promised to contact Mitsubishi for warranty fees as unit was only 3 years old. I called corporate to discuss alternatives or review and was promised return resolution within one hour. I never heard from them again after repeated calk. Totally GHOSTED. I got two other neighbors to purchase from this company as well and they both fear the same ineptitude and outrageous repair (or not repair) in the future read more

I thought we made a good choice but it turns out we did not. 10 days after Lincoln Air "fixed" our A/C it is not working again. I called and was told they would see if anyone was available for the same day fix and give me a call back but if not they'd be here from 8am-10am. They proceeded to not call me back, which will be a reoccurring problem with this company. I received no verbal communication just a text saying I had an appointment. I've called twice now and they said their tire popped the first time (totally fine, communicate that) and that someone will be here before noon. At 12:09 I called and was told they were going to be on their way and should be here in 15-20. They said they were trying to resolve the issue prior. If anyone has had a 4 hour tire change issue I would love to hear about it. Once again if anything would have been communicated this review would be much different. We have been stuck at home waiting on someone to show up on a problem we shouldn't even have! I feel like they are almost purposely avoiding coming here at this point. It is 1:01 and they just arrived. It's something that they happened to not see prior and now we need to fix another thing. I just received an AC service from them. A guy came and measured the pressure outside and told me that the system has enough freon and then after checking inside, he wasn't able to figure out why AC isn't cooling enough so he added two pounds of freon without talking to me and asking for $400+ dollars. Solution for all their problems is adding more freon without checking any leaks. I complained to the office lady and she says she will check with the manager but she never calls me back. Of course they charged my credit card and no phone call. I recommend avoiding them. Bob Lincoln called. He apologized for the misunderstanding. Very professional. I went with Lincoln Air for two reasons, they had great reviews, and they are a mitsubishi diamond dealer. My experience with them has been unlike what others have posted. It's been absolutely terrible. On the day of install I was not consulted as to where each head unit would be placed. They ended up installing one on a wall that could only drain onto my front patio. When I questioned them they said I should just buy a plant and have it drain into that. WHAT? Now I have a noisy pump attached to that unit so it can drain somewhere else. So much for it being silent. I can hear that thing from my office all day long. The vent solution to cool our secondary bath was never done because the installation crew said it was too hard. They did leave some nice holes in my bathroom wall and ceiling though. The installers did not know how to hook up the kumu cloud device and left it with a blinking LED directly above my head in the bedroom. When I asked them to fix it they explained they didn't know how and tried to get me to face time with their crew leader who was on vacation in another country. I tried, but he didn't actually know either. Eventually I just unplugged the thing and waited the two weeks for the guy to come back from vacation and come out and fix it and some of the other things they didn't complete. I was told they would have to do the install over two days, with a day break in between because they were previously scheduled so I arranged my work schedule around those two days. Unbeknownst to me they changed the schedule to be two consecutive days, which would have been fine if I had known ahead of time, but I didn't - forcing me to scramble to accommodate them. There were also several scheduling problems with the (I assume another subcontractor) electrician that was working with them. Multiple wrong days with them too. Yesterday I called for service since one of the units literally froze up inside the house (mind you this is only about six weeks after the install). When they called back to tell me the tech would be there between 10 and 12, either I misheard them or they got that wrong too because I when I called back at 1 since no tech showed up they said oh sorry, meant that to be tomorrow, but glad you called because we actually switched it to between 8 and 10. Tech is here right now, he's seems nice and competent but he had told me that he can't actually do the repair because the team that installed it was a subcontractor and they get the first choice to fix it. ANOTHER call to the office and they at least said they would for sure have him fix it, but my goodness, it's never ending miscommunication from them. Karissa's been super apologetic and nice, the equipment is good (presuming they can fix whatever is wrong with the unit that turned into a block of ice) and the diamond dealer warranty from mitsubishi is nice to have, but for the price and with a company that is supposed to be top notch I could not possibly be more disappointed. Maybe it's better if you get actual Lincoln air employees doing the work. I can't really figure out why everyone else has such a great experience and we had nothing but issues. read more

I had the estimate in a day or so & what I really like is that he didn't try to "oversell me" by saying I needed a more powerful machine than I did. I thought I'd found a gem of a company but instead endured a negative experience. I committed to Lincoln Air for a fair priced, split mini a/c unit on May 19, 2021. They took my 50% deposit and scheduled the install for June 4th. I received a call June 3rd that they had multiple a/c emergencies & were going to reschedule for June 15th. The install crew explained they were not informed of the June 15th install until they thought they were finished for the day and then, learned of my job THAT DAY (they arrived at 3pm). I later learned from them that the parts delivery person had a family emergency & no one would drive the parts to my home for the June 4th install date. (So, I was lied to? Nice.) On June 15th the install crew arrived but, no electrician. No one can reach him. I have a fully installed unit now but it's useless as there is no power. The installers offered that this scheduling mismanagement happens frequently. Upon completion I discovered someone left me with the remains of a gastrointestinal explosion in my toilet (SO. GROSS.). They also left empty water & Gatorade bottles in the street in front of my home; as well as small bits of trash from the install. On June 15th I told my sales person "J" I wanted the unit charged & inspected and to educate me on unit operation, the same day the electrician was complete. The installer agreed. I called and reiterated the same to their admin person "K" on June 16th at 9:00am. On June 16th the electrician arrived, telling me he only heard of my job one day prior to the June 15th install. He said he's always booked out 2 weeks so my job was a favor to Lincoln Air. When the electrician was complete he called the installer and on speaker, the installer said the office had not instructed him to return as I had requested. (My BP is through the roof, again) The sales & admin folks have responded through all of this with an eerily detached, lackadaisical attitude. On June 15th "J" began to offer an annual inspection free of charge as compensation for my trouble (he had told me in May that value was $178- which included the split a/c and my main a/c). I told him we were not going to discuss 'compensation' until the job was complete. I have now invested 3 solid days for a 2-hour job. Finally, on June 16th at 4:00pm a serviceman "T" arrived to inspect the unit (he released freon as it was overcharged). "T" also explained a few features on the remote. The unit works great! To date, "T" has been the most polite professional of any of them. At 8:00am June 17th "K" left a message wanting to collect payment and get this, to hear of any feedback. I returned email reiterating my displeasure of this experience and inquired as to what value they thought my lost time & stress was worth, before I paid their invoice. Apparently there wasn't any value as she returned email that she has a "happy & professional personality" and they have "done everything right". There was not a word nor care relating to MY experience. Wowsers! Look, if you don't mind being jerked around & have ample time to waste, then by all means - hire them. If there is a response (to this) at all, I presume it will be full of spin. Companies that do not take ownership of their mistakes & express empathy to a customer for them, is one I will run from all day long. WHATEVER. I'm done. In my opinion, Lincoln Air clearly needs to learn sub-contractor communication and scheduling management. Perhaps a class or two on customer service may prove fruitful as well. For me, this has been a disastrous experience & I will never use nor refer them. And the best part: the owner Bob emailed requesting my online review & specified on Google, Yelp & the BBB. We have had cooling issues in our master bath even after installing new central ac units. We also wanted to cool our garage with a more efficient mini split where, after doing a Google search, we found Lincoln Air. I reviewed their website and in particular, their Ductless Mini Split page and was immediately intrigued with their Mitsubishi Diamond distributor 12 year parts and condenser warranty as well as the customer mini split installation pictures. I called the next day for more mini split information such as price etc where I spoke to Garrett where he asked good questions about where we are interested in installing a mini split and the size of the room. He gave me preliminary pricing over the phone from which we agreed to schedule an on-site assessment. Garrett was punctual even calling when he was about 15 minutes out. Since we were wanting to resolve our cooling issues with the master bathroom and garage, Garrett gave us different options based on his evaluation of those rooms and outdoor space. He gave us the recommendation of a licensed electrician for installation the 220/ 30-amp zone. We found Garrett to be very knowledgeable and very pleasant were the pricing was within budget so we agreed to move forward with his recommendation of a dual zone, 2-ton heat pump, 15.5 SEER Mitsubishi mini split. The electrician called a couple days later to schedule the electrical run where Mike was great and did a good job. Garrett called the next day to schedule the dual zone mini split install for the master bathroom and garage. Curtis and Garrett were on time where they were very professional and courteous. Curtis was excellent assessing the installation area where he had to hand dig a 40+ foot trench for the copper lines for the master bathroom 6,000BTU unit. Curtis was very contentious of the termite barrier as not to disturb as he dug. He went above and beyond where he back filled the trench and covered the trench as well as the compressor pad area with our rock. Curtis was meticulous doing such a great job where you could not tell there was a trench and looked as though the area was never disturbed. I have to commend Garrett and Curtis on their professional and clean installation where we did not have to do any post install clean up ourselves...normally, the homeowner has cleanup after a contractor. Garrett took us through the use of the remotes and how to keep the filters clean on the head units. We were amazed how quite this Mitsubishi dual zone mini split is! You can even whisper standing next to the running compressor. This mini split cooled our master bathroom down to 67 degrees is a very short time where we could never get it below 74 or so. The garage is nice and cool where we are looking forward to working in a nice and cool garage in the heat of summer! This is by far the best company for your air conditioning and heating needs. The sales rep we got is Dylan. He is five star. We actually got estimates from several HVAC companies and even though Lincoln Air was a bit on the high side, we got the quality we were looking for. We actually decided on the Mitsubishi ductless system. It's efficiency is unmatched by any other heating/cooling system. It has dropped our electric bill by over 30%. Interestingly when we checked with Mitsubishi Lincoln air was Mitsubishi's number one chosen installer. We have the ductless system throughout our home and each room can be individually set for whatever temperature we want that room to be. Our electric bill went down so much and has remained down that APS came out and changed our meter because they thought maybe something was wrong. When the system was being installed even the owner came out. He is a very responsible and genuine businessman. I do want to recommend again our service rep. His name is Dylan. I highly recommend Lincoln Air. We had someone else come out 5 months ago to do maintenance on our unit and about two weeks ago we had another company come out and clean our air ducts. Right after that, we noticed a mildew smell coming from the vents and our ac unit didn't seem to be cooling down. I called Lincoln Air out and they sent Craig. Let me just say, he is a godsend! He let us know that we had a pretty big issue that could have been avoided if the other company had done their job properly. AC had quit working and they got a technician to my home the same day. The technician, whose name was Curt, was both knowledgeable and professional and was able to diagnose the problem as simply a faulty thermostat. No attempt was make to switch to a juicier (more costly) repair. He was just the kind of technician that you hope will show up at your door! Although it turned out to not be needed, Lincoln Air also got involved with the warranty coverage with the manufacturer who was trying to claim that my extended warranty wasn't valid. Lincoln air came out and bid a price asking for half up front and did about 10% of the work stating that they would come back and finish. However, they never turned up to complete the work. Initially they made appointments and didnt show up, then they stopped answering the phone when I used my cell. So I called back on a different phone and they picked up. They never came to do the work and we never got our money back and had to pay for a different company to come out. When the other company came out they were appauled at the incompetence of the 10% of the work that had basically destroyed the unit and we had to pay to fix the damage that Lincoln Air had done. I was dealing with the classic AC problem where one person was piping hot and 5 other people were freezing cold all at the same time in the same office. Since I was in the minority (and I pay the bills), I chose to throw in the towel and to take the high road. I found Lincoln Air through the Mitsubishi mini split air conditioning website and sent over a quick email asking a few technical questions and for someone to give me an idea on how much a single mini split unit including install would cost. I received a reply to my email within half an hour and we coordinated for Garrett to come by and work out a quote. Garrett showed up on time and swiftly got to work. He was done at the office within 15 minutes and emailed me a quote by the end of the day. The price was right and we agreed to do the install about a week later. The agreement was 50% up front and 50% after install. Install day came and Garrett and his guys showed up on time and prepared. They were done with the whole installation within 4 hours. They cleaned after themselves and even vacuumed around the install location. Honestly, I wouldn't have known they were even there except for a quietly humming mini split piping out freezing cold air.
